Food was awesome!! Very city feel for a small town. Lots of fun sharing - we had 6 dishes plus 2 desserts for 4 of us. Potatoes, sego noodles, fried rice (had a kick), poke salad, Brie toast and can’t remember the last one were all delicious!!

We had four small plates between the two of us -- all we outstanding - and plenty of food. We did save a little room to split a great dessert. If you only have one meal in Kanab -- it should be here at Sego !

We’ve eaten at Iron Chef restaurants and Sego is better tan some. Creative and delicious. We will be back.

Spare Ribs mit Suppe als Beilage, sehr gewagt. Geschmacklich ok, aber mehr Knochen als Fleisch, welches sich auch nicht vom Knochen gelöst hat. Volle Enttäuschung.

We ate at Sego our first night in Kabab. It was so good (food, service, friendliness, ambiance) that we had to come back. Both nights we shared several “small plates”, and everyone tasted magnificently. We hate to leave, but have more National Parks to see, so “ttfn”. We hope everyone enjoys Sego as much as we did.

High-quality ingredients and fusion approach to the cuisine.
The restaurant proposes to share the dishes among the party which is good if nobody has problems of allergy and/or have similar tastes; otherwise, it might be a problem.
Outstanding the bar particularly the presentation of the cocktails.

We had a reservation and we were seated right away but were not greeted by staff for 18 min. We were going to leave at 20 min if that continued. The server finally came. The food was good but portions are super small.

We visited Sego twice this year. Once on the way up to Park City and once on the return and both times it was wonderful. Actually we eat at Sego every time we visit Kanab. The food is very creative and designed for sharing. Everything was excellent! On our first visit Holly took such good care of us we asked for her again. She was the best!!

Amazing food with Asian fusion - definitely the best you’d find in Kanab and would go back if ever in the area again!

Better than many one michelin star places in nyc. Probably amongst the best food options in a 100mile radius. Loved it.

No doubt the best restaurant I can remember. What a gem in the middle of nowhere. No offense to those who live in Kanab. One wonderful meal with each course having marvelous and interesting tastes. The young man who waited on us was a Kanab native and a class act especially for being so young. Definitely will go here again next time we’re in the parts.

We loved Sego and would recommend it to anyone! We happened upon it on accident, and we are so glad we did! The pork belly & watermelon is a MUST try, as is the torte. The chef was amazing and the overall experience was just great!

Fourth (or fifth) visit. This place is consistently excellent--there's no other way to put it. Menu always contains standard favorites along with specials and some new options to try. Can't say any of the plates was disappointing. It's what a restaurant should be.

What a surprise! Creative, beautiful use of quality ingredients, unexpected sophisticated blends of flavors, modest servings so you can taste a variety of dishes. My best meal in US in a year-and-a-half. In Kanab!!!!

This restaurant is a little gem in a tourist town. Ingredients are very fresh and the menu is innovative. We especially liked the sego noodles so much that we had two orders. We ordered the homemade sorbets and chocolate torte for dessert. The sorbets were refreshing, but the torte was average.

What an enjoyable dinner! I was so impressed with the quality and attention to detail. I tried several plates to get insight into the chef and I wasn't disappointed. I had the avocado toast with pumpkin seeds, cilantro and a bit of chilis to give it some heat. LOVED it! The dish was so balanced with that umami thing going on. I also had the artichoke and foraged mushroom toast that was also delicious. The touch of agave sweetness was fun and surprising.

My absolute favorite was the pork belly and watermelon. I have never had the combination before and this was one of the best pork belly dishes I have ever had. It was so perfect - sweet cold watermelon, hot crispy belly, sesame, heat, salty, unbelievable! Great job! This chef definitely understands that wonderful balance in great food!

I ended with the grilled Caesar salad. This was my least favorite dish and I still liked it. The sous-vide egg was interesting but didn't add much flavor to the dish. The dressing needed some salt and squeezing the lemon just didn't add enough of that anchovy lemon goodness great caesar dressing gives to a salad. The romaine was perfectly cooked - warm on the outside, crisp and cold on the inside. It just needs a bit of tweaking to make it as perfect as everything else was.

The service was perfect - attentive, informed and friendly without being too present.

Overall a wonderful experience!

Sego is a special gem in some of the most beautiful landscape on the planet. Surrounded by the red hills that border Kanab and in the middle of several national parks, this restaurant focuses on creating some of the best meals you will never forget. Local ingredients used in unique ways paired with hand crafted cocktails. Ask your server for recommendations. Drink, eat and be merry at Sego. Don't miss it.

We had dinner there the last 4th of July and What a great experience at this little restaurant in the South of Utah, the food is outstandingly good, but the customer service is the best, if you ever have the opportunity to stop by there you will be not disappointed.

Two granddaughters in their teens and two grandparents almost 80 with their guide had a lovely meal and great time at Sego while on a Wrstern trip. Highly recommend.

Sego is one of the best restaurants in Utah! The chef is world renowned and is revolutionizing the food scene in Kanab. It's worth the drive and I look forward to going back soon.

Sego never disappoints. Fabulous food. Really delicious cocktails (try the Hard Lemonade). The service is always top notch. On top of things without being intrusive. Décor is sophisticated as well as cozy. Really good idea to make reservations!

The striped sea bass was so good, so perfectly cooked and fresh, we were astonished. Also excellent was a small plate of beets with smoked feta ands peppery greens, and the spicy cauliflower. WE live in Paris and did not expect to find such wonderful food in Kanab Utah. or almost anywhere in a long road trip that included good meals but very few as refined and creative. Our server, Ashley, was dleightful, we were gifted with a mistaken extra order of foraged mushroom and artichoke toast,. This us well worth a special stop, you won't be disappointed.

Top notch chef who is innovative and visually acute to his plates. All I need say is "watermelon-pork belly appetizer." That was astounding! Who would have thought this combo would make for a truly unique and beautiful plate!! Add to that the baked brie, Sego noodles, shrimp dish, and finish off with Utah apple dessert and you have one very fine meal for two. Cocktails and wine excellent as well.

We were very pleased with food and service, both excellent.
We did not like the round tables where you have to sit on a straight sofa - somehow one was always shifting around to reach either food or drinks. There were other couples as well who didn’t like it, one couple in particular aked to be moved to a ‘regular’ table once it became available.
Other than that it was a real pleasant experience.

“Social Dining” - or “tapas” or “small plates,” call it what you will - really comes together at Sego. The dishes are creative, fresh, and sized for sharing. A couple will probably enjoy 4-6 items, and the friendly and charming wait staff are more than happpy to make suggestions. Regrettably, more than a few groups come in not knowing what to expect and end up walking out without trying a bite (I suppose they were expecting more traditional entrees) - this is absolutely a restaurant we enjoyed. Plenty of wines by the half-carafe, along with craft cocktails, rounds out a wonderful meal.

We stayed in Kanab to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. So glad we tried this place.

They offer a small plate dining style, which works out because you get to try so many different things.

Everything we got was amazing! Our favorites were the Avocado toast, Foraged mushrooms, Beef filet, Seared sea scallops and Cauliflower.

The service was great as well! Ashley, our server, was very attentive and friendly.

All and all, a must try! Wish it was closer to home because we would defiantly come back!

Sego is an amazing restaurant! The chef is creative and every meal I have had there is fabulous! Recently I had kale & lemongrass braised in coconut milk with wild caught salmon cooked to perfection. The service is excellent. It just doesn't get any better.
