   The waiter explained that the restaurant’s concept was shared small plates. He recommended 3-5 for the two of us. We chose 5-all gluten free-and the menu was so extensive in that aspect we could have chosen many more! He paced the arrival and order of our choices perfectly. The food was amazing. Nothing more I can say on that. Fresh, delicious and unique in every way. When the bill came we were pleasantly surprised at the total. It is not inexpensive but we felt that it was worth every penny. This was our “fancy” meal in Kanab Highly recommend you make a reservation.

   Dinner was delicious. Drinks were excellent (not skimpy on the alcohol). Menu was different with enough options. We loved the asparagus! Meal was worth the money.

   Excellent in every way! Service , outstanding! Food, was impeccable! Very different , tasty , and served hot. It is a sharing menu and our server suggested sharing 3-5 plates. We picked 4. The mushroom w artichoke, the grilled cheese , sego noodles, and grilled shrimp. WOW! Every single plate was unique and delicious! You won’t be disappointed! Also has the prickly pear margarita and was sooooo yummy!!!! Def make this is stop if your staying in Kanub! You won’t be disappointed!

    We love Sego! It isn’t a trip to Kanab without it. When you see such a broad menu you sort of assume it will be average because nobody can do all those things well. And yet, somehow Sego manages to buck the trend and do so many cuisines well. Truly impressive, especially when you think about it being in a small, relatively remote town.

    We ordered the falafel app, Dan Dan lo mein, and the rendang ayam. Despite the extensive menu, we thought each dish was done well, particularly the rendang. Usher was great, but waitress’s service was so-so. Great place for a nice little date night.

    We had reservations at 5:00 pm so it was quiet and they spaced us apart nicely. We did not feel rushed and had such a fantastic meal! Great hospitality! The host is especially engaged with the guests!

    The toasts were delicious. Beet salad was way too tart but they did take it off our bill since I didn’t like it. Beef steak had too much steak sauce but the meat was cooked well. The corn fritters were the best! Foraged mushrooms were underwhelming. I had 2 glasses of wine and they were expensive for the pour size. It also didn’t seem consistent because I got more on my second glass than my first. I also saw them taking others wine that had heavier pours so my first glass was unlucky, I guess. Ambiance was good. I like the tapas style food so you get to try a lot of things. Overall, we liked it and will come back for the best items and not order the underwhelming ones.

    Food was high quality, delicious, with creative/innovative uses/combinations of flavors and textures. Well balanced bites, fun to share, easy to eat while engaging in conversation. Seating is comfortable, music selection was excellent, lighting/design was beautiful. Excellent spot for a date!

    Food was amazing. 3-5 plates is spot on to order for 2 people. Definitely the cauliflower, Street style tofu was great and lots of flavor. Thought we didn’t have room for the Banana Bread pudding, but it was gone in under 2 minutes. Service was good and super friendly.

    Interesting menu that could be a bit more varied in taste profile. Dishes well-prepared and ingredients very fresh. Convivial atmosphere but unusual for a fine-dining restaurant to be located in what is essentially a hotel lobby.

    We went for my birthday. My husband and I have been before, but my daughter hasn’t. She loved it. Had no idea what a fritter was and tried duck for the first time. She agreed with me that the scallops are a must have every time!

    Ordered 7 different plates of delicious to share with our party of 3. Scallops, satay, cauliflower, mushroom toast, noodles, fried rice and shrimp. Every single dish was incredible! Thanks Sego for creating fine dining in Kanab ❤️

    I love this place....the sweet and spicy ribs were sooooo good. I came here to try the sego noodles. I was a little disappointed in the taste, but that was the only (very small) issue. The service was great-the food came out super fast. Also, the proximity to the all festivities held that weekend was really close...we were able to walk from the hotel to our event (balloon festival). I will definitely return.     Sego is the best restaurant for an other than average meal in Kanab. The chef has a flair for putting together unique tastes with unexpected ingredients. Sitting in the corner on the cushioned benches was not the best experience. The vinyl was cold(it was winter), and we kept sliding down on the slippery material. I have some unfortunate food allergies that prevent me from eating out much, but Sego offers vegan and gluten free dishes and were very attentive to my needs, which I very much appreciated.
