Second Street Grill
This was a lovely surprise. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We will definitely be back.
This place is a true hidden gem. I stumbled upon it randomly a year ago and now it has become a regular stop when I am in town. The service is great, the food is fantastic, and the ambience is what you expect out of a fine dining restaurant. There are some pricey items on the menu, but I do not believe them to be overpriced. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid meal.
My prime rib dinner had no taste it was not juicy when you cut it. And I felt it was frozen before and reheated and served. I have been coming everytime
this was not same like before.
Second Street Grill is a hidden gem on Fremont Street -- a place to enjoy a quiet, fine gourmet meal at reasonable prices. This is my second time eating there, and both times the service has been outstanding, the food has been among the best I've ever eaten, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Their filet mignon is the best I've ever had, period. Every bite of every dish at our table was perfection.
Some pieces of the King crab was dry. Butterfish was excellent!!
The food was great and the staff was awesome.
Steaks lobster & prime rib along with service was excellent
We go there specifically for the crab legs and lettuce wrap.
We always request for Pam as our waitress. She provides outstanding service.
Food and service were excellent. I would certainly go back.
My husband and I always go to Fremont and never gotten to go to Second Street Grill. Well, it was our first time there and it was the bomb, The food was far more delicious then Redwood. and the service was excellent. The sashimi melts in your mouth and not stingy. I highly recommend eating there.
Amazing king crab legs amazing, dim shrimp and scallop buns were amazing 10/10!
We both had the T-bone special, which was very good. We also had desserts which were excellent value,.
They didn't have my first choice, but our server suggested an alternative. A bottle of Sauvignon Blanc was the cheapest we have ever paid in Vegas. I have paid almost the same for a tiny amount in a glass at other establishments.
Service was absolutely outstanding, the best we had by far in the 2 weeks we were there. Tony was very professional, polite, efficient, but not intrusive. A master of his craft and reminded me of how service used to be in Vegas and was tipped accordingly. Unlike many servers now who expect a good tip for mediocre service. His assistant Carlos was lovely and took time to chat with us when he brought the food.
The only negative I can remember is that the restaurant was extremely dark. So much so that it was hard to read the menu. If they wish to retain that ambience, I would suggest they provide a flashlight along with the menu and that is a serious suggestion, not just said in jest.
We have every intention of visiting again on our next visit to Las Vegas.
Great restaurant, great service. The T-bone special is amazing.
We had a wonderful experience. The service is friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious! A hidden secret that I’m so happy we found!
The food was just ok. For the price it isn’t worth it. There are way too many amazing places to eat in Vegas. Ambience is old school 1980s - 1990s. It is very dark inside too. Which is fine, as is common in a steak house. The salads have nothing on them but the blue cheese was good. Escargot was pretty good. The salmon was over cooked. The duck was very good but it comes with a plain sweet potato (no butter). The vegetables are absolutely terrible. The prime rib was good. However, not any better than some of the buffets we have been to. We did not order dessert. All together, not a horrible meal but also not worth the money.
Great food, wine and service! Our entire table ordered the filet mignon or the rib eye, and all of the steaks were cooked perfectly. Our only complaint was the lighting. It was almost too dark in the restaurant to read the menu. Other than that it was a great experience.
great food. inviting atmosphere. staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I gave the food a 4 star because 3 of us like their meal a lot. Unfortunately my stuffed prawn pasta was not good. The prawns were rubbery. The tomato sauce was super salty. I ate very little. Also it was so dark in the restaurant I had to ask the waiter for a flashlight in order to read the menu. There are so many good restaurants in LV, don’t think we’ll return here.
Nice restaurant... great food... Jesus, waiter/server was awesome!
We enjoyed the food and service tremendously, we felt very welcome.
Love love love this venue. It’s quiet cozy friendly and my personal favorite. Try the lobster. The presentation is beautiful. Thank you to Pam and bartender Jason. 6 stars
Our very favorite restaurant in Vegas with a super friendly, cordial, professional staff! Nick, Pam, and Edgardo made absolutely sure we had an excellent dining experience! The steak and lobster dinners were perfect! We will be back in July!
Normally on this trip we dine at the Redwood but they are closed Wednesday and Thursday , found the food and selection very good will return.
Our waitress and assistant were awesome, the food prepared excellent band very delicious
It’s my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is consistently good, the staff is great and some have been there for years, and the decor is such that you feel like Sinatra may wander in.
Our main reason for visiting Fremont Street. A hidden jewel of a restaurant.
The food was absolutely outstanding! Best I’ve had in Vegas. Manager even checked with us a few times to make sure everything was good! Whole staff was VERY professional!
Food was superb. Although should be told of sauce on lobster. We didnt get our salad, but the waitress thought that if we ordered the lettuce wraps it would have been too much. That was so true. As stated on others this is an awesome place, small but that could be the reason for the noise. Everybody is trying to talk over everyone not thinking of the other people.
My Waitress was best of all the servers on trip! Had T-Bone meal great food n great price!!
Everyone enjoyed their entree. The server Jesus was very good. His service made our experience great.
Food was great and the service was amazing.
Great food and service!
Excellent food quality and selection. Had the special surf & turf, which was delicious! Such a great value for the quality of the meat and lobster. A hidden gem in the Fremont casino!
We had great service from our server Pam. The food was great and so was the dessert. I would defiinetly request for Pam again on our next visit.
Great food and service the balsamic dressing was the best I ever had and filet was amazing! Great place 💯
Our experience at the Second Street Grill was fabulous. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The rib eye steak and prime rib were both extremely tender and flavorful. The salads were refreshing and tasty, as were the appetizers, especially the escargots. And save room for dessert.
We both eat very clean, healthy. We ordered the spawn pasta and scallops and shrimp pasta. Both of us had stomach/intestine issues most likely due to cooking in canola or vegetable oil. No reason to use those if they did. But it tasted great but I wish they used real butter instead.
Both fish and meats were cooked to perfection! You definitely will get your values worth. Server was a bit busy and couldn't remember who ordered what drink or main dish, but overall, a favorite when I visit Las Vegas.
Greta food and great people. Very pleasant experience.
