   The Seccarelli saga continuous offering a refined Italian menu with a Mediterranean accent. Fresh delicate pasta dishes and delicious fresh fish will delight your palate. And don’t forget to try beautiful La Lanterna in Old San Juan.

   We took our teenage children for dinner on Christmas eve. I found Seccarelli on Open Table and thought it would please our daughter who loves homemade pasta. It is an elegant experience. We were the only tourists there that evening as the restaurant filled with Puerto Rican families that all seemed to know each other. I had a delicious arugula and pear salad, halibut and half order of truffle fettuccine. Everyone enjoyed their food which was beautifully presented and delicious. It’s an expensive restaurant but a great experience. As good if not better than dinner in Italy!!

   The host (perhaps the owner) and the staff were Great! My daughter ordered out of the menu and they accommodated her without any issue. The pasta dishes were delicious and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. We will be coming back for sure!

   In true Italian fashion, the Seccarelli it's a place to be relaxed, so don't rush yourself or you will miss on the ambiance Chef Mateo Seccarelli has created, we feel we are eating in confortable dining table at a friends house. For starters they have fabulous options, but for us we order the traditional plate of Italian cheeses and prosciutto, bresaola, capicola and mortadella, paired with fantastic bottle of Montemisio Pecorino wine. After you have started to savor your appetizer, the Chef will sed you a little surprise. Once settled into the pace, you have to select among the best pasta options outside of Italy. We had a an Fresh tagliatelle with Spinach and Eggplant sauce that was outside of this world, My wife has the rabbit Ravioli, insanely great. As the main course she ordered a probably the best presented and tastiest tuna ever served and I had a NY Prime Steak, that is seasoned with special spices, their steaks are legendary and fo the middle of the table we ordered a twist on a classic. We ordered a Risotto a Amatriciana, that was probably the best dish I have ever eaten. Unlike many places, these friendly hosts welcome your questions, suggestions and will happily point you in a delicious direction. Chef Mateo Seccarelli and Jocelyn and the rest of the staff run the best Italian Restaurant outside of Italy. When Angelo Gaja is in Puerto Rico, he makes it a point to eat here, so did Luciano Pavarotti, George Clooney, Jimmy Fallon, Harry Belafonte, Chayanne and many other celebrities that call Seccarelli home. This is a must stop while in Puerto Rico.
