Sebastiani's Ratings and Reviews
We went on a Friday evening and had dinner in their wine bar (next door to their Italian restaurant).. We met up with friends who had arrived about 30 minutes earlier. The owner (Pablo) was very accommodating to move two tables so that we could all sit together. The food was excellent! I had a a seafood pasta dish that was full of fresh shrimp and scallops in a pesto cream sauce. All dinners arrived at our table at the same time and all piping hot right out of the kitchen.
They also had a keyboard player that evening (in the back near the bar) playing soft jazz... We all had a very enjoyable evening and plan to return soon!
This place is split into two sides, one for dining and the other is a wine bar with live music. The food was ok for my taste. The ambiance is romantic and intimate, good for dates. The service was great, very attentive, and friendly. I want to come back to try the wine bar.
The server was really nice. All of the food was great including the dessert! We had the spaghetti risotto and ravioli and took home left overs of all three because the portions were so large we had a ton of great food left over. It was a great price for all the food too! My parents had the wine and finished the whole bottle claiming it was delicious wine.
I have never had a bad meal at an Open Table restaurant until now. The worst thing I can say about this place is that it is literally tasteless, from the bland cake like bread with the unknown spread and curiously unsavory red dip to the entrees that masquerade as Italian pasta. The manicotti was not pasta. Rather it was a quantity of cheese wrapped in what was called a crepe. Crepes are from Brittany, not from Italy, and they do not qualify as pasta. Even the soupy marinara could not save this disaster. I re-ordered the spinach ravioli, which had only one taste, the tang of sun dried tomatoes. The red wine was served at a disgustingly warm temperature, higher than that of the room. I will not be back.
