I love sitting in the bar area. It can get a little noisy at times though. The best happy hour deal is definitely at McCormick & Schmick's. An entire quality made to order hamburger fries and two alcoholic beverages can cost about $20. That is a great deal for great food. MoreOpenTable Diner -
We were visiting Seattle and a local friend recommended this place. The food and service was excellent! The sommelier was very knowledgeable and recommended a wine I would not have thought of pairing. Very reasonably priced for the quality. We would definitely return. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Fantastic meal! Before service started the chef gave a quick speech about the meal and the idea behind each course which really added to the excitement of getting to try each course. I would recommend the wine pairing. I can't wait until the next time I'm able attend a dinner there. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Junkichi Robata Izakaya is an upscale authentic style of Japanese cuisine utilizing a live fire charcoal grill. Dating back centuries to northern Japan where fishermen would gather around a communal hearth for warmth and to prepare their food, fishermen were searching for a way to prepare their meals aboard their vessels and created a way to enclose the charcoal to protect their boats from the high heat and thus robata was created. Originally a method for northern Japanese fishermen to be able to cook aboard their vessels the definition of Robata is a charcoal grill guests can be seated around used to slow cook skewers of the freshest ingredients over hot coals and can literally be translated to "fireside-cooking".More

The iconic city tucked inside the Pacific northwest coast does see a lot of rain, but when the sun shines on Seattle, it dazzles. Don’t miss the chance to dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants serving oysters and Pacific-caught seafood. Take a stroll downtown and wander in and out of bookshops and bakeries. Arguably the birthplace of American coffee culture, there’s hardly a better place to enjoy leisurely lattes accompanied by hours of computing and the occasional pen and paper sketch.
