Great Setting next to water. Food was excellent..Server was not very professional and not particularly friendly.
En general todo muy bien. Me gusta ese lugar
My mother and I went for Thanksgiving. She had a traditional Thanksgiving meal and I ordered the alaskan king crab pasta. Both were outstanding! Service was awesome and the view was spectacular!
We had an amazing night! My boyfriend proposed me and all the restaurant personal was a part of it, they were really nice and keeping congratulation us all the night. The food es excellent, really tasty. The price is high but it’s worth it. We consider this restaurant it’s a MUST everytime we came to Miami.
Amaing food, service and experience
They didn’t gave me a table, i had to go to the bar.
Highly recommended restaurant!! Everything was excellent
The best dessert in Miami, tres leches , all is perfect in this place
Julie is amazing!!!! She made our experience so lovely. ❤️
Food was GREAT, service was just as well. No complaints.
Food was delicious. Thank you.
The waiter was very nice but the hosts have the worst attitude. Really liking less the experience here.
Muy buen ambiente y comida sabrosa
El lugar está muy bonito, pero la comida es bastante cara para lo que es.
Great place
Everything was going great ...delicious food, service was ok because the place wasn’t too packed yet. Then the place got busy as we were wrapping up. I’ve been here plenty of times before so I already knew how things get when they get busy. However this time the waitress tried to overcharge me for the tip saying that the 18% that was already included “goes to the house”; and that we should therefore tip her more. Unbelievable. Of course I said no. To top it off, once my charge went through, she came back saying that it did not go through and that she’d like to “walk me through” the process of paying again. Once again, unbelievable!! I showed her the charge that had already come through on my amex app, and she walked away disgruntled. Our bottle was not empty yet she took it and disappeared. Needless to say, I’m done with this place. Not coming back. This is what you get when you hire amateurs and expect 5 star service.
Nice ambiance, view isn't all that nice honestly unless you just enjoy waterfront dining. But there isn't really much to look at besides a few cargo boats. You can kinda see downtown in the corner but that's about all you're getting.
Now onto the food!
We took advantage of Miami Spice for Brunch and tried the Malanga Fritters and Watercress salad for appetizers, Florentine Benedict and Sausage with Polenta for entrees, and both available desserts on the Miami Spice menu which were the tres leches and chocolate-mousse like dessert. Everything was delicious, no complaints at all on food and quality. Quantity was a bit small but I expected that. However if I would've paid full price for those portions, I would've been very upset.
For drinks we had two Mimosas each and that alone cost more than our meals which I thought was outrageous. I expected expensive drinks, but not like that. Twenty dollars for a simple orange juice with a dash of champagne is ridiculous. I've gone to places nicer than this one and paid less.
Service was fine, but could be improved for a place as expensive as this. Every person we dealt with was nice, just not very accommodating. By the end of our meal I didn't know who exactly was our waiter since different people kept coming to our table (IF they came at all). We were helped more by the busboy than our actual waiter. Not to mention the automatic 18% tip included in our bill for a party of only two people.
To sum things up: food and drinks are delicious, just not worth the price at all. Not even the view could make up for it. Service could be better though we didn't deal with any rude employees at all, everyone was nice. Will I come back again? Probably not, but I don't regret coming here.
Nice experience. Great food and vibes. However services was quite slow.
We ordered from the Miami Spice menu and while the meal was filling overall, I felt like the portions were a bit small. Everything was delicious though and our server, and the other staff who waited on our table, were all helpful and attentive.
Very beautiful location and great food, lovely location on the river.
We had great time over there, super good food and music. Great atmosphere!!! We definitely will be there again
Great Brunch during Miami Spice. This is a charming and so Miami place, a melting oot of peopme and flavors by the river
Ambinace was perfect inside and out. Food was great and the service was just as good. Going to be returning very soon to try the volcanic stone steak.
I loved this restaurant! Super good and great on service.
Food was mediocre tonight. Been here many times and enjoyed it every time. Brought one of my most important clients... food was mediocre a and service was terrible. Not a good look. Seaspice failed all around today!
Arrived at 1150pm for a 12am reservation after paying for valet parking hostess said they are closed I said I have a reservation she said yeah open table is wrong and we aren't linked up with them but I do see it. She then got a manager who said I'll put that you were seated at the bar so you don't get charged the $50pp cancellation fee. No apology, remorse etc. We drove 25 minutes from our hotel in Doral to dine there. Ridiculous!
Great food. We went for Miami spice lunch. The waiter took long to get to us but other than that everything was great.
Great friends, great food, great service and the bewitching ambience was wonderful. The only downside was the downpour of rain that caused us to move indoors and also wait several minutes at the end of our evening to exit. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant again in the near future.
I went for Miami Spice for brunch. I had the tagliatelle which I would not recommend, and definitely don’t pay the extra $10 for the black truffles. The malanga fritters were good and the chocolate desert was delicious. Just wish I had gotten a different entree - the pasta was very mediocre. Feels like I could’ve made it in a rush at home. Barely any flavor - even with the truffles.
The food was great
It was hard to decide what to order since the menu offers amazing options. After we tried a few, some dishes were great but others were missing flavor like the sea bass. When pries are high, we expect perfect dishes... In this case the parmesan truffle pasta was lacking in salt and the wagyu beef even though it was amazing, the size of the portion was disappointing. The ambience was beautiful and service very good. The salads very tasteful and fresh and the hamachi a must. I would like to give it a second chance to try other dishes.
The environment was great. The service was great. The food was just OK. Maybe the kitchen was off their game that day but for the hype that I’d heard—and for the price that I paid— my dish seemed a bit average. Not mind-blowing, just average.
Went on for a weekday date to sample their Miami Spice menu. With all of the add ons dinner came to ~$160. Overall just an ok experience and the food was hit and miss. The view was lovely though, even with the rain.
Appetizers: (crispy tempura squash blossoms): not sure what we as expecting but it was different.
Entree
1-Pan seared local black grouper: not sure what pan they used but there was no searing. The fish was very white and the red wine fumet smeared on top.
2-Chilean Sean bass: was NOT worth the $21 up charge. It was like a chunk of fish but not flavorful. Usually a fave dish but this version missed the mark.
Dessert:
1-Tres leches: served in mini mason jar. It was a cute take on the dish and tasted good
2-Guanaja chocolate cremaso: just no. Mix of flavors tasted weird
The place is beautiful and the brunch food was good. Even though we had a reservation we waited an hour to be seated. It’s a bit pricey but the view, decor and ambiance make it worth it.
Have gone 100’s of times and hosted business dinners at Seaspice. Love the restaurant but had the most unacceptable experience. It was my birthday and were sitting the by the water - they decided to take a last minute reservation for 30 and tell us it was an emergency. Didn’t offer to move us and this party turned into a crazy mess setting up and breaking down and the people in attendance.
Would hesitate to return
Good food, but very slow service. We waited 30-40 minutes in between plates. Not to mention there is a mandatory 18% tip on a party of 2. Not worth it.
Fantástico! We had the Miami Spice menu and it was very good.
The service was excelent and the view , AMAZING!!!
Location, ambiance and setting superb.
Food excellent.
Price in the stratosphere. Overly expensive with moderately sized portions.
Waitress referred to me from the moment we met as "my love". This was unacceptable and she continued to use these words throughout the evening.
When the bill arrived, an 18% gratuity was added. This was TOO high for the service we received. I would have left a MAXIMUM of the traditional 15%. However, the waitress made it a point to inform me that this tip was a SHARED tip and that I could leave an ADDITIONAL tip for her. I refused to do so and she immediately showed her DISPLEASURE.
We will NOT be visiting this restaurant again.
Amazing!!!
Food was mediocre. Seating process was a mess. Server was good, but not great.
We mentioned it was our anniversary and there was 0 recognition.
