We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Brunch at Seasons Westin Prince.
The setting was quite beautiful with the large windows overlooking the ravine. Our table was very comfortable and conducive to good conversation.
The food was excellent ! We were impressed by the variety and the quality. It is not your usual Brunch as there were many ethnic dishes as well as the usual breakfast items. Everything was fresh and well prepared. The Chef was most helpful in pointing out gluten-free options.
The service was friendly, prompt and caring.
We would gladly recommend Seasons to our Friends.
We really enjoyed our meal with friends we hadn't seen in a while. The service was excellent aside from the wine service. There seemed to be an issue with the staff coming up with the bottle of wine we had ordered. However when it was delivered, it was very good and the price was reasonable. The meals we ordered were delicious and we sat for several hours with our company. The stuff was not pushing us to vacate the premises, and we like that very much. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.
The Prince Hotel has always been a great place for functions, whether it’s formal or casual,
Our daughters wedding reception was held there, our wedding coordinator was outstanding,
Sunday Brunch is excellent, lots of choices and beautifully presented, the ambiance is very nice with fireplace and lovely views from windows onto the grounds outside
We have never been disappointed with the food, and service has always been excellent
Fabulous location & great menu- lots of vegetarian and healthy food options. Waitress was just ok but overall service was fabulous! Beautiful location,
Nice spot on a special occasion. Lovely ambiance at Christmas time, and the service was excellent. Memories created there with our friends as they celebrated their anniversary.
Nice view to enjoy a breakfast ..food was good too .. great place for a business breakfast
There many food fries all over the dessert area. Terrible! No ice cream is available for the kids. No refill for peking duck. Food varieties are limited. For the cost that we spent, it is not worth it. Our plates were not cleaned/collected soon enough when there was not crowded at all. Also, we needed to ask twice for hot tea before it came.
We had afternoon tea there. Food was nicely prepared and the table was exquisitely decorated.
Was told about this brunch, but after going, not impressed really, and it's incredibly overpriced for what it is...service wasn't the greatest...
My friends and I were very satisfied.
High tea was OK but not spectacular, considering the price. I'm filing it in the "tried it once" category.
Great food and service. Would definitely recommend going to Seasons for Brunch.
Great place to meet.
Remember no need to pay for parking- just leave your plate number with hostess.
Great for business meetings.
The quality of the food fell short of expectation. Crab cake was expensive for what you get. It was served over a sauce with lots of mustard that drown the flavour. Crispy Calamari was not that crispy and the batter had too much chemical seasoning.
We were disappointed with the vegetarian selection
The previous menu was better
Salad became minuscule
Will not visit again
excellent service but told that we could order off menu for Sunday lunch when called but when arrived told only buffet. Staff accommodated us but food very basic. Excellent wait staff though.
Unimpressed. We ordered crab cakes which were tasteless, as a joint starter. My "main" was a hummus based vegetarian which was frankly unpleasant. My date had the salmon entre which was fine. The place itself is very nice, but virtually empty. Pretty bad experience. Expensive especially in view of the quality. Paradoxically, the dishes looked very attractive upon presentation.
The dishes and their ingredients were very fresh. Service was pleasant and prompt. The price is just right for the amount and type of food available. Been eating here for close to 8 years and will be coming back as always.
disappointed that there was no dress code restrictions. It was like eating in second rate restaurant because of the way patrons were dressed. The prices they charged does not suit the the quality of the poor restaurant's ambiance. Should make people dress more formally for this type of setting.
Normally, the service is very good and the noise level very acceptable. This time our empty dirty plates piled up behind us before any wait staff cleared them away and the noise level was at times intolerable because there was a screaming child at a table near us.
This restaurant has been a favourite in my family for years. It is our tradition to go for Boxing Day lunch. We know we can count on it for ambience, good food/wine and service.
The wait staff were very kind and sympathetic, but short staffed. Sunday brunch, we had trouble getting milk for our coffee, water or tea. But when the food came, it was good. A bit pricy, but still very good. Comfortable seating, beautiful views.
I'd go back hoping staffing issue was a one time thing.
Terrible buffet brunch service with mediocre and overpriced food. Great w family staying at the hotel but not worth a trip.
There was a great variety of food and it came on time and hot. You can tell the Chef takes great pride in his presentation as well as flavor. I would highly recommend the mushroom soup, calamari and the steak!!
Our experience was spoiled at the end by the rude hostess. I told her that my daughter was 12 and she said "She doesn't look 12, but okay." The implication was that we were lying about her age. I offered to show her health card. I think it's better to ask for identification than to suggest that we are lying and then make it seem like they are doing us a favour. Very insulting.
The Valentine'sBrunch Buffet in the Seasons was Outstanding with something for everyone !Service is friendly and excellent. The view of the park is nice bur probably better in the spring and summer. Desserts by the window were Phenomenal . No indoor Pool was a slight bummer , but nearness to all shopping and museums was good. Reservations through Open Table was both easy and fast. Thankl You
We had never been to the Westin for brunch before so didn't know if it was just buffet or if there was also a la carte. We received tea and coffee promptly but the waitress was very uncommunicative and almost surly. There was the assumption that we had been there before and knew the deal. We finally had to stop the hostess and ask her if there were menus etc. She very nicely explained about the buffet. There were lots of choices but unfortunately most of the prepared foods, while good, were lukewarm at best. The made to order omelette was very nice. When we complained about the lack of service to the hostess she explained that our waitress was also responsible for making all the drinks and was therefore very busy. No one came to clear our plates, we finally just put them on a table beside us. It was very expensive at $270 for four people without alcohol, for just a buffet brunch. The room is lovely and the hostess was very nice and helpful. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. With a better waitress it would have been much better.
We have known the Prince Hotel from past eating experiences.. We like the brunch very much.. just found the roast beef rather dry.. but no complains about anything else.. WILL RETURN as soon as pension budget permits..
Question? DO YOU? have senior discounts?
the service was noy the best but the food tasted good
I hosted three other people for the Christmas Day brunch at Seasons, one of them a 4-year-old, and I must say it was fabulous. The choice of foods, the available quantities and the quality----all were excellent. Whether one is a carnivore, a vegetarian, a seafood lover or anything else, there was plenty to satisfy the appetite. And the environment was elegant yet warm: just what was wanted on a Christmas afternoon. The servers were patient and friendly, happily answering any questions, and directing traffic when things got a bit crowded at the buffet tables. It will certainly be a consideration for me to return next Christmas! Kudos to all.
The website told you to pay then bring your ticket in to get reimbursed. This was not the case, all you had to do was write your license plate number on a sheet of paper. When approaching the staff with this information I was not treated the best and felt undermined.
At the end of the meal I approached the manager on duty and he apologized and covered our parking. Website still needs to be fixed. Manager and staff could have handled the situation better.
As we had been at Seasons for breakfast and had enjoyed the experience, we decided to go to dinner and we will definitely repeat the experience. The restaurant was quiet - probably because it was 5:30pm and a few days before Xmas, where traditionally hotels can be mostly unoccupied. It got busier as the evening progressed. Tomato soup (served every day) and Caesar salad were quite good, where there could have been more dressing on the Caesar salad, but that seems to be a trend everywhere now where people are veering away from dairy products. I'll remember to ask for more dressing on the side the next time. The butter chicken was a lovely surprise and I would order it again, as would my son who tasted it. The filet mignon was greatly enjoyed by my father, and nicely plated. The wheat pasta too was a hit. The only negative was the BLT sandwich where the chicken was very dry, and although it was not packaged chicken which can sometimes occur, the dry meat itself did not enhance the meal. Perhaps just a hiccup that one particular evening. We did not order dessert but there were some nice selections.
For as long as we can remember, the Prince Seasons has been our restaurant of choice, whether it's casual lunches or family and business dinners. And, last week's dinner proved once again that it will remain on our "go-to" list. When your guests continue to rave days after, we know we have given our guests something very special. With our Open Table reservation, the staff delivered second-to-none service; a seamless evening from start to finish. The chef served up a delicious menu that had everyone happy. All in a quiet, well lit corner of the dining room. In short, it remains the standard we judge all others by.
The food was excellent with a good variety for all. The view and ambience was lovely.
The dishes were good. However, the prices are high, especially for some items. $12 for a dessert is a bit much.
Over priced Brunch for what was served. King Edward brunch much better.
Very disappointing. Empty plates left on the buffet. Everything was cold, including the supposedly hot food. For the price, we would have expected a far superior meal. Even though it is a large dining room we were seated amongst an anniversary party which was uncomfortable for us and them. Most of the food tasted like it was made the day before! We won't be back.
Bad breakfast dry pancakes dry waffles. Not many selection of food. Its not worth the money. I think Tim Horton's n MacDonald make better breakfast.
We've only been there twice. The first time we liked it very much. The service, food and atmosphere were all quite satisfying. However, the 2nd time we went there we encountered a snag in the menu selection. My girlfriend is vegetarian and enjoys going out for halibut steak dinners. The first visit she said the halibut was excellent. Unfortunately the second time halibut had been removed from the menu. For that reason alone it is unlikely we will visit a third time unless halibut is returned to the menu. Otherwise an overall thoroughly enjoyable experience.
We were seated promptly BUT there appears to have been chaos since no waiter arrived within 20+ minutes to take an order or provide an explanation. Other guests were in similar situations. With no hope for service in sight, we left -- my first time in my 50 years of travel and dining in Toronto
