Walls of windows shine light into the expansive room and enhance this exquisite dining experience. Under the direction of Executive Chef Andrew Court, Seasons restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, offers a bright, tranquil setting for the morning crowd of movers and shakers, visiting dignitaries and discreet people watchers. The Georgetown restaurant’s traditional dishes come alive with elegant twists: from the lemon ricotta pancakes to international flavors like the Huevos Rancheros. Tuck into a delectable mix of regional and seasonal ingredients during breakfast and Sunday brunch, which features bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's and seven different stations, including a live action station where food is made to order in front of guests for $105 per person. A favorite amongst local and visiting guests alike, Seasons is known for its “power breakfasts.” It's the place to see and be seen and to hold a top-secret discussion under the radar.

I’ve been coming for this brunch for many years. This visit I noticed changes in quality , the Prosecco was inexpensive, some of my favorites were not up to the standards originally set; smaller cocktail shrimp, no short ribs,
It’s still a good brunch, just not a great as it used to be.

This is an ideal venue for a business breakfast: the service is attentive and subtle; the space is light-filled and modern; and the menu is varied with top-quality offerings. For a high-end hotel breakfast it is also favorably priced.

The service was impeccable and food was delicious and plentiful. They have a paella station for the fall. I do wish that they would enforce a dress code. Not spandex, sleeveless t-shirts, ripped jeans etc.. because it brings down the panache of “Four Seasons”

This was our first visit, we were celebrating a birthday and excited to try the Sunday buffet as I have heard it is lavish. We enjoyed the food and service. The seafood area was stellar. The ceviche fresh & flavorful, lobster salad, shrimp and well all the seafood area was great. Crab Louis was just ok. Unusual offputting seasoning. Cheese and charcuterie delicious especially the garlic jam, spiced fish and blue cheese.
Mac and truffle was a nice touch as the crab cakes and salmon. Barely glanced at the breakfast bar... getting stuffed. :) The dessert room was amazing. The chocolate creme puff, and chocolate rocky road cookie stood out. Mimosas were nicely done. My one complaint that made the entire visit not so enjoyable was the temperature of the room. It was sweltering. Their A/C was out! We had an 11:30 reservation and left around 1:30 and it might have just begun to partially run. Extremely disappointing that some sort of temporary unit or fans or some attempt to make guests more comfortable. Vague apologies when I mentioned several times. That left a huge negative in my mind. Pitty.

10/15:19 update: Seasons was kind enough to offer us a return visit, compliments of them. We didn't chose to go back to the brunch as Seasons but rather had lunch at the Bourbon Steakhouse. Although a bit overpriced compared to its many high-end steak house competitors, the food was phenomenal!

Really big disappointment. I was sure this was a safe bet but was so wrong. The buffet only had 3 types of pastries!! It was like a cheap hotel continental spread. There was no fresh bread choices for toast; no bagels; and the only bread was some small slices of toasted white bread which was very hard. For the $100+ price per person, I expected much more. There are so many really good high-end places I should have chosen instead.

Sunday brunch at the Four Seasons is one of the great weekly food events in Washington DC. By far, the Four Seasons outclasses every other Sunday brunch in this city. Everything imaginable is abundant, immaculately prepared and tastefully displayed. I could have tasted everything but I didn’t have four hours to try it all.

Make a reservation and be prepared for the tab. It costs around $100 per person, which still is not a cheap date but the staff does such a superb job that I did not want to leave.

Old world elegance with a modern vibe. Still where the power brokers have breakfast and justifiably so. Everyone is treated with manners and kindness shown so infrequently other places. People are trained who work there! The food and the presentation are unmatched. I only wished they stayed open for lunch and dinner. That is a tragedy.

This was our second time frequenting this restaurant. We were underwhelmed. I think they switched chefs. The first time was amazing. This time, not so much. At the price of this brunch, I expected the wow factor. Not this time. It was a miss.

This is far from the first time we’ve been to the Four Seasons for Sunday brunch. We have, however, scaled back big time with the last couple of price increases. Now, they’ve kind of priced themselves well above the market when mostly what you’re paying for is the ambiance of Seasons and the outstanding service. This time, they held the brunch in the Bourbon steak restaurant because Seasons is undergoing some kind of rennovation. The ambiance in the Bourbon is very different than Seasons. Seasons has always felt open, bright and airy whil Bourbon is mostly the opposite. In Seasons, the food stations are around the room. With brunch being held in Bourbon, the food stations were in another room and my perception may have been wrong, but it seemed like there were quite a few less choices this time. At the price they charge, they should have just cancelled brunch until Seasons reopened or discounted it while in Bourbon.
The one thing that didn’t change with the change in venue was the outstanding service from the waitstaff. They are all so professional, friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely a very good experience. Everyone in our party was very pleased with the offerings and with the service. Some had been to the Seasons Brunch in the past, and others were experiencing it for the first time. In either case, there were bountiful, delicious offerings that addressed the needs of carnivores, and those who claim vegetarian diet restrictions!!! Service was right on point and really the main reason we continue to go to Seasons. We know there are less expensive options, but, there are not many that will approach the service level provided at the Four Seasons. There were several "new" options, as well. For instance, there seemed to be a southern station where shrimp and grits, gumbo and fried chicken and waffles were being offered. This really hit home with me as my roots are in Louisiana, and some of these foods were staples in my growing up!

Food was mediocre. Although the seafood section had many options, the quality of the oysters were way below expectation. The reception let us in 30 minutes after our reservation. Our server was busy, no one came over to refill my cup. Meanwhile, one of the busboy took a chair away from out table. Horrible experience, mediocre food, service was poor.

The presentation was lovely for the afternoon tea and the staff was very attentive. The food however was sub par for a tea. The flavors and textures seemed very similar. The cucumber sandwiches were completely left off of our tray which was disappointing. The staff did bring us out a set and apologized profusely, but it wasn’t a seamless tea to say the least. The actual tea was probably the worst part of this. The tea strainers were well over packed with tea. There was no need for that much tea in the pot and it ensured that the tea over steeped and became too strong very quickly. After requesting a new pot of Jasmine tea, since mine had gone completely bitter, a second pot was brought out which was already way too strong and undrinkable with how bitter it was. Less tea in the strainers would probably help this. Staff should also recommend to guests to remove the tea strainers from the pot. Not everyone has been to a high tea and knows that you should do that in order to keep it at your desired strength. This was a relatively mediocre experience for the cost. The company was of course invaluable. We still had a lovely time together.

We went to the Seasons restaurant. The price of the brunch is 150 per adult. At this price point, you should be blown away, not just eating slightly better than average buffet food in a crowded stuffy environment in a dark corner. Strongly would not recommend this for your Sunday brunch for this price.
