Overall, it was ok brunch. Nothing special considering the amount they charged per person. I thought it was going to be a buffet but they have changed it and it was family style brunch. They did call and let know and I was fine with it. But food was ok, service was ok and decor is plain. So very underwhelming experience. When I booked I mentioned that we are celebrating anniversary and also birthday. But no one even mentioned about it when we were there.

We went there to celebrate a friend’s recent wedding. The service was extraordinary and we had a great waiter. The ambience is nonexistent. It’s one big dining room and nothing fancy. A bunch of tables laid out like a large cafeteria. Nothing that I would expect at a Four Seasons. The food was just OK; nothing great. We had a good time just being together, but we’d never go back. We spent a lot of money and I don’t feel like we got the ‘special atmosphere’ nor the food quality to justify the expense.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea sitting. The tea offerings were great and I opted for the nectar sun, which was just right for a Saturday afternoon. The scones were perfectly baked and the clotted cream and strawberries made the scone delightful. The sandwiches and pastry offerings were varied and truly enjoyable. Our server Maricris was knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. My friend and I have both been for afternoon tea at other locations in D.C., but the service at the Four Seasons went above the others. We both remarked upon the fact that even after we were seated and the food and tea were brought over, our servers returned to top up our tea and water. This was first class service.

When we are looked by for an opportunity to celebrate a special occasion we almost always consider brunch at Seasons. The food is plentiful and tast, the service is terrific and they never rush you. We had a great brunch.

First and foremost, my wholehearted compliments for outstanding service to Maricris and Mohammad who attended our table. We loved the savories and wish there was more of it than the sweets. It was nice and thoughtful touch to be able to bring back what we couldn’t finish. The Seasons restaurant was underwhelming though. Some flowers on the table instead of a succulent in a grey pot; live piano or even piped music would have gone well with an Afternoon Tea.
