Had a great experience at afternoon tea. The service was exceptional, and really made our special occasion even more so. The food was also great. The in-house cured salmon was so fresh and the desserts were amazing. The atmosphere was also very relaxing. We had great views of Georgetown from our window seat and it wasn’t very full for a Saturday, which was what we were hoping for.

Just a bit disappointing. We went for breakfast (party of 2). The restaurant was quiet, which was good but the service was slow. When items arrived (after 40 mins), cutlery was missing. We ordered French toast and boiled egg with toast. The French toast was bland - just plain and a bit dry. One of the eggs was fine, but the second was undercooked. The restaurant itself is nice but the windows get very steamed up and look dirty. We have dined at a number of Four Seasons restaurants in other parts of the country; this one was disappointing in comparison to others.

This place is phenomenal! The staff treats you like royalty. It was my wife’s birthday celebration and we had a table for nine but the servers and cooks and general staff treated everyone the same with a little extra for her. The food was the best I’ve had at a buffet “hands down”. With so many drink options along with different meats, appetizers, salads and deserts. I think I would go there every Sunday if I could. Best in the City and that’s the real deal. It’s a little much but you get what you pay for and it was exquisite! Sometimes you just have to treat yourself and enjoy to be pampered.

As frequent travelers we are privileged to enjoy 5 star hotel champagne brunches around the world. Seasons does not rank highly amongst direct competition. It is in a smaller environment than some other venues and has less food stations/options. On request, we were seated at a nice window table, but then waited a long while for water/coffee/drinks order. We were not given an explanation how the brunch "worked, nor informed some additional options were available to order (waffles, french toast, etc). We requested garlic sauteed shrimp and were told it would be an additional cost. Given that shrimp cocktail was on the buffet, we declined. In the end, they brought a plate of 4 shrimp without further cost. The charcuterie and cheese station lacked bread and cracker options. The outside grill station manned by Benjamin was a high point. The lamb chops, skirt steak and garnishes were quite good. A separate side room held a wide variety of desserts/pastries. The base rate of $125/person was a little high, but would have been acceptable; however, with service fee, separate gratuity and prosecco, the bill was $500 for 2 people which puts it in Michelin 2 to 3 star price range, but not quality. Whilst this review might seem negative, it is comparative to superior offerings in other countries although we did not find a comparable option in the DC area.

I have been to the seasons buffet many times. The quality of food is always good. The poke bowls made by Benjamin were very good. The chicken and lamb were dry and not very flavorful. A lot of the food in the heaters were either overcooked or not warm. It's hard to keep food quality up to par in buffets because the warmers can over cook the food. Everything is okay. Is it worth 125.00 +? No, but the service is impeccable and the ambience is very nice.

Seasons at the Four Seasons is the best place in Georgetown for breakfast. There's an elegant and interesting menu (the buffet brunch starts later in the morning on weekends), a great staff and an overall sense of being in good hands. Once the staff becomes familiar with you, it's even a bigger treat - they treat you like family.

The food were okay for the price. One chicken item, one fish item, one red meat along with a cheese station, omelet, poke and raw fish stations. The deserts looked better than they tasted. For $125 pp, I would’ve expected freshly squeezed orange juice, but it was regular. Overall, good service and ambiance.

A great experience but a few things to improve on: 1) service was very slow. Catching a waiter for water, remove plates and drinks was an ongoing battle. I watched a woman sneeze into the salads and then tried to find someone to tell as the omelet and poke stations had huge lines. 2) Food was really good for buffet. The desserts were great but the cakes were dry. Definitely will come again. Service everywhere is tough.

We came for afternoon tea and were a bit disappointed. The pastries were really good (as advertised) but the tea was sub-par. First, the selection was bare minimum and basic. Sure, they have breakfast tea and earl grey, but nothing unique. This wouldn't be so bad if they did the basics exceptionally well, but they did not. I almost think they brewed it like American black tea, like the huge Lipton containers at a fast food joint. I never saw the tea leaves, I can only hope it actually was loose leaf. The tea was scalded, bitter, and poorly mixed. The jasmine green tea had too much jasmine and not enough green (jasmine tastes horrible if you add too much). The earl grey tasted like it was blended with Lipton before being served (there was only the sad ghost of bergamot in the bitter aftertaste). I've had better from an American tea bag, much less Harney & Sons. The sandwiches were unique, a bit hit and miss but mostly good. Scones were dry. The desserts were unique and tasty, but not worth the price tag. Service was was polite but a bit awkward. Is this what is left of afternoon tea in DC? At least it's better than the Salamander, who waited until we Ubered in to tell us they don't do afternoon tea anymore.

Afternoon tea was served in the same dining room that serve breakfast/lunch. With no air circulation, highten the smells of french fries/breakfast. Our table was not set for the afternoon tea, and the food was old and dry (i.e., crusty sandwiches and dried out salmon), tea was served in the unmatched tea sets. Friendly and professional staff, but lound customers ( talking outloud on the phone, kids walking around the table etc.). Complementary parking was nice. I'm sure our experience was not typical, but personally prefer other afternoon tea services offered in the area.

The variety of food was amazing and delicious. The Chilean sea bass and crab cakes were so well done. The best thing was the exquisite service. We had a lovely afternoon tea with one exception. One of our party has celiac disease and despite having nearly three weeks notice and assuring us that they could accommodate her, the gluten free offering was, while adequate, not up to the standard one would expect. Specifically, there were no scones. It really isn’t tea without scones and there are other establishments like the Intercontinental that clearly make more of an effort. If we had been informed of the limitations of their kitchen ahead of time we would have booked elsewhere.

Seasons brunch is a splurge, but it is a very worthwhile one! The buffet options are diverse and high-end; ranging from a sizeable raw bar (with the largest oysters I have ever seen) to multiple cooking stations. Peking Duck and poki bowls were the specialty stations when we went. There are also other savory options, such as an expansive charcuterie spread, lamb chops, fish, chicken and a variety of salads and fruit bar. Finally, there is a dessert room that easily had 15-20 options to pick from. Waitstaff will also have french toast or pancakes cooked at your request. The service is impeccable. You step away to get a new plate, and by the time you've returned, they have topped off your Champagne or water, and provided new silverware. The service is attentive, but never overbearing or intrusive.

I made a reservation two months ago for breakfast at seasons NOT bourbon steak. The Four Seasons should have contacted me when they closed Seasons for a private event. I was never notified and showed up with my guests for a celebration breakfast at bourbon steak. Humiliated and disappointed in such an expensive breakfast. Our server was excellent, but could not make up for the disappointment.
