Seasons in the Park Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful room with a wonderful view! Wonderful food! Wonderful service! Alana was superb! Professional and friendly... in fact, all the serving staff were warm and caring. It has been some time since I was here last, and I forgot what a thoroughly delightful experience dining here can be. I am eager to return. There were about five different "birthday" lunches! Must be a Scorpio favourite!
We have celebrated our anniversary here for 5 years but have found, as vegans, it would be nice to have almond or soy milk always on hand for our coffee; and more vegan options. The tasting board is ok, but even the salads have dairy in them. Vegan cheeses/butters, nut milks, egg substitutes/tofu are readily available all over town. Even having a vegan pasta, sandwiches, or burger would be nice. You see....we consider plant-based foods Life, and all of the animal products Death. We are surprized that so many people still unconsciously eat Death. We hope to see some changes next year as we still want to return to the place we were married. Just to confirm again, the service, and the atmosphere are amazing. Our server was as accommodating and conscientious as anyone could be with the limited menu items she had to work with.
I have been to Season’s in the Park several times. Love the view and with good weather, it did not disappoint this time. The service was fine, the menu selections limited, the prices high and the noise level very high. I had a pizza and it was not very good. I would not recommend this restaurant to others, unless it was for the view or if you were visiting the conservatory anyway.
We frequently go here for special occasions and we were there to celebrate a birthday. We had a reservation for 6:30 but didn't get seated until 6:45. Great table with a beautiful view but then things got pretty bad. Our server was not very strong and struggled with basic social requirements of a good server. We put our order in and received our entrees which were not as good as usual and then it took over an hour to get our main courses. Our server didn't even bother to fill our empty water glasses. She came by and said the order would be up any minute and still nothing. I finally had to ask the manager and about 5 minutes later we got our food. I had the prime rib which was good but the yorkshire was very dry and came with no gravy. My dining companions bot had the lamb medium yet I was very rare and cold in the middle so it had to be sent back. The new one was then completely over cooked but they were so hungry they just ate it. Our server never apologized at any time but the manager did apologize. Our desserts were very good. The only think that made it acceptable was they did end up comping us for the majority of the meal. This is my first bad experience at Seasons hopefully it is a one time thing.
I have dined at Seasons for close to 20 years now - this is not an exaggeration. A superb menu and food that is always perfectly prepared. Service is excellent, with members of their staff that have been there for many years (which is rare in this industry). I'm looking forward to my next visit...
The view is worth every penny. Ended up going on Halloween and fireworks were lighting up the sky line. The first server was short and when asked what kind of sweet white wine was available he was unaware and came back a few minutes later with an option... in the end that wine was very bitter. He was rude, however it seemed he may have just had a bad day. Over all the food was decent, have definitely had better filet mignon before.
Upon arriving, the hostest was not very welcoming. When ask for a window table, she did want to accomododate. Asked how long was the wait and she said cannot tell. Isn't part of the hostest job to figure out the estimated time before a table becomes available. Thanks to the manager who accommodated us and the extra friendly server, our night was not ruin. It was our 6 years wedding anniversary dinner.
The food was overall good except for the pasta with eggplant and goat cheese, the eggplant was hard and didn’t taste good. Service was excellent but the menu needs to be updated, it hasn’t changed in too long. Also, some more no -seafood appetizers would be nice as 3 out of the people in our party are allergic.
Seasons in the Park is my favourite place to dine in Vancouver. With outstanding views of the city, and tables well spaced, it is comfortable for visiting while enjoying delicious food. We enjoyed the filet mignon, attractively presented with fresh vegetables, and desserts we shared. The service was excellent without being rushed. A beautiful experience.
My family and I were celebrating a couple of birthdays, so we agreed on this restaurant as we have never been disappointed here. We all opted for the three course Sunday special prime rib dinner which came with a choice of soup or salad, and chocolate cake or lemon tart for dessert. The food was generous and flavourful, and the service was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be coming back again.
The restaurant was busy and noisy, the service was attentive but the food was not impressive. My food was cold and the poached eggs tasted of vinegar. My husband had the fish and chips and they tasted like frozen fish improperly cooked. He expected a fresher fish, freshly fried for the $ charged for this meal.
We were very disappointed that we brought two couples with us, and had raved about the food after previous visits. We will not return.
