Seasons in the Park Ratings and Reviews
This is a tourist trap at best. I was worried when I saw a sign in the park on the way, that it would be so, and it was. Just goes to prove that you cannot always believe the reviews. It all depends who is doing the reviewing.
The restaurant was very pretty with a gorgeous view. At first the waitress was great- friendly and attentive. However, as the evening wore on, and on, and on, and the main courses never came she stopped by just once to say sorry and tell us the food was on the way. Then she disappeared, and still no food. Finally the dishes arrived, and the meal was just okay. Nothing that rated the reviews, or the wait. One of the 4 of us really disliked her meal; thought her fish was under cooked, but no one came to ask. At the meal's end the waitress arrived and offered the standard apology, "Can we buy you dessert?" That is always the response when a restaurant has done something wrong. (Why not take a main course off the bill instead)? Anyway, three of us ordered dessert and one of us ordered a cappuccino. They billed us for the cappuccino. We thought that was the last straw in cheapness with no class. Would not recommend this restaurant unless you just want to see the view and have a drink.
The crab cake. Was listed on this h menu as plural. CrabcakeS. So to only receive 1
My dem glacé for my prime rib was stone cold and initially not enough to dip the Yorkshire in. Like a real prime rib should have lots of au jus/gravy. And then the Yorky was small and extremely doughy in the middle. So it is. Unfortunate to say the lemon tart was the best part of the meal
Ravioli was a very small portion for a lunch entree.
We frequent your restaurant often and brought a friend on Friday. We have always enjoyed our meals and we were disappointed with the portion size (5 pieces) although it was tasty.
The service was great!
Amazing service and delightful dinner. This spot is perfect for any occasion and the warmth of our welcome, seating and dinner service was impeccable. We will return, as always, knowing that our time and experience with this superb restaurant and the best view anywhere of the city of Vancouver will be another to remember! We highly recommend Seasons in the Park to all.
Wonderful room with a wonderful view! Wonderful food! Wonderful service! Alana was superb! Professional and friendly... in fact, all the serving staff were warm and caring. It has been some time since I was here last, and I forgot what a thoroughly delightful experience dining here can be. I am eager to return. There were about five different "birthday" lunches! Must be a Scorpio favourite!
We have celebrated our anniversary here for 5 years but have found, as vegans, it would be nice to have almond or soy milk always on hand for our coffee; and more vegan options. The tasting board is ok, but even the salads have dairy in them. Vegan cheeses/butters, nut milks, egg substitutes/tofu are readily available all over town. Even having a vegan pasta, sandwiches, or burger would be nice. You see....we consider plant-based foods Life, and all of the animal products Death. We are surprized that so many people still unconsciously eat Death. We hope to see some changes next year as we still want to return to the place we were married. Just to confirm again, the service, and the atmosphere are amazing. Our server was as accommodating and conscientious as anyone could be with the limited menu items she had to work with.
