Great waiter- Arshad
Wonderful experience. We enjoyed our trout meals. Fantastic service by Aaron. We will be back.
They were out of more than one thing off the menu, it was mother's day so it was kind of understandable... Food was delicious as always.
We took my son to celebrate his college graduation on Mothers Day. 4 people. 4 main courses, one appetizer, 1 bottle of wine, 2 drinks. Total:$225.000. It wasn’t as though the food was so deliciously different from other restaurants or that we had impeccable attentive service. If you have money to blow, go for it. Otherwise, skip this place.
Great evening and realize it was Mother’s Day, but when they are out of the side listed with your entree, they automatically make a substitution for you without asking. This has happened in the past. They did give me something else, but would like to know before it is brought to the table.
We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation on Mother's Day, which I booked the afternoon prior and all times for dinner were available, so we didn't expect a crowd. When we arrived at 6:30, the valet line was backed up and there were no convenient self-park options. The entry area was packed with people flowing out the door. The hostess said they were preparing our table, but we ended up waiting almost 30 minutes in the crowded lobby with limited seating. We initially sat in the only 3 available chairs to wait and were promptly told by a server that we needed to move because we were blocking the patio entrance/exit and that the hostess should have known better than to put the chairs there. We also had to move and help one of the hostesses put a walker in the wine closet since no one else from the restaurant was helping her. When we were finally called to be seated, our party of 4 followed the hostess to the middle of the restaurant and then were told that our table was actually not ready, so after standing there looking lost for a few minutes, we had to parade back through the restaurant to again wait in the lobby.! I mentioned to the hostess that I had requested a booth in my reservation, and we passed 2 empty booths that had been bused and another that needed to be bused on our way to and from "our table" that wasn't even ready. Rather than seat us at one of the booths that had been cleared, we had to wait for the one booth that hadn't yet been bused. So we were not at all pleased to finally be seated 30 minutes after our reservation time with a fiasco in between. It took quite awhile to get our waters and cocktails, but after that the service was fine and our waiter was pleasant. Due to the reservation and seating mess, I do not plan to be back anytime soon and will not recommend Seasons 52 to anyone. I don't know if the restaurant took all walk ins or just plain overbooked, because it was not a pleasant experience on Mother's Day.
Great food and service as usual. I did get an allergy attack when someone nearby sprayed their Mothers Day gift to test the scent. I ended up with itchy and runny eyes. But SeSons 52 can’t control inconsiderate people in a crowded space. Thanks Mom whoever you are!
Excellent food and service ! Favorite place to go!
With the exception of our lattes and cappuccinos being cold everything else was wonderful. Our waiter was pure perfection.
We were there on Mother’s Day for brunch. We did not do the brunch menu but ordered from the regular menu. It was very crowded and obvious that makeshift tables were added so space was tight. The service wasn’t as good as it usually is but the food was good as always.
We went for Mother’s Day and had a great time. Service was good despite the crowds. Our waitress forgot a few small requests but understandable. The food was great.
Love, love , love Seansons 52!
Enjoyed the evening and great wait staff. Food was good. Overall, recommend
The food at Seasons 52 was good. Nothing great, but we enjoyed our meal and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. We had a great server and the food came out quickly.
The food was delicious. I selected the three course meal off the menu and my husband selected the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. The black bean and bacon soup was like any other black bean soup I have ever tried. It is a must try! Their desserts are the prefect size and they have 7 to choose from. We tried the s’more and the peanut butter dessert and ate every bite of both!
skilled server, quiet and private, delicious food.
eyerything was nice :)
WOW! Our service was amazing and the food was incredible! We celebrated my husband’s birthday and they went all out giving him a card and complimentary champagne with our dessert! Thanks for a great experience Aaron, you’re an awesome waiter!
Very nice meal....was disappointed they removed filet from the 3-course meal selections
It was my friends Birthday and they went above and beyond to make her feel special. Free sparkling wine for a toast, an appetizer and even a rose and a signed Birthday card. Food was very good too!
Food and service always great. Extremely disappointing Sunday brunch is discontinued.
Great service and delicious meal. We enjoyed the Spring Menu.
Seasons 52 - Westheimer has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. But that changed on Saturday, April 27. Our server LaShonda, who still received a generous tip, was slow, inaccurate and somewhat rude. Rather than even attempting to walk around the four top table to serve us, she had us pass food to each other. She forgot to timely place a flatbread order and had to be reminded to bring the wine we ordered. We were dining with new friends for the first time. It was an embarrassing experience for me. And one that I will not soon, if ever, repeat.
Seasons 52 always delivers on a consistent, classy dining experience with exceptional food and service.
We always go to Seasons 52 when we're in Houston! Always great food and great service. The filet mignon and the seared scallops can't be beat.
Excellent service and good. Quiet enough to have a productive business meeting
Always a lovely dining experience
First impression our waiter didn’t want to be seated and made that evident as soon as we sat in his section so the hostess went to get another waitress to serve us. The food had no flavor and it was just a disappointment since I’ve heard good reviews and a friend had wedding party dinner here. All in all I wont be back.
Great place with wonderful food . Will recommend
The mimosas were 80% OJ. Received soups and within 4-5 spoonfuls our entrees arrived. Set the soup aside to eat entree which was lukewarm. Our server basically abandoned us. Coffee wasn’t refilled. When desserts came we asked for more coffee. 5 minutes later the coffee arrived and we needed more cream. Another 5 minutes later the cream came, coffee was now warm. We have always loved Seasons 52 but will never return to this one.
I really enjoyed my visit for Easter Brunch. Great price and excellent service. We showed up early for our reservation and were sat down right away. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and great with suggestions. We even asked about what spices they put on the bacon and he went to ask the cooks exactly what spice it was and reported it to us. Manager stopped by twice to check on our visit and talk to us about our meal. I would recommend you go eat here. I will be coming back again soon.
Easter/Birthday brunch w Parents. It was delightful.
Wonderful brunch. Food was excellent as was the service. Menu has a nice variety for all tastes
Absolutely loved the Chilean Sea Bass!!! The yummy martini and dim lighting always love.
The only thing missing was a jazz quartet ~
Love Season 52.
Excellent for lunch or dinner
The food was excellent, I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. However, my side (mashed potatoes) were cold, which didn't allow me to enjoy them. The service was not terrible, but it did take them about 8 min to greet us. Overall, I would recommend the salmon and would return.
A well-kept secret, great experience!
Our server PEPE was nice but he was too busy with other clients and working by himself.
we ordered a few entrees they arrived fast, but the waiter did not have time to bring small plates to eat them, also the wine we ordered did not arrive, in the meantime the food was getting cold.
the wine listed on the printed menu was wrongly listed and a lady (cannot remember her name) came to explain to me that the Pinot Noir that i have ordered in the past, and was listed under red wines was now actually a rose wine. (?) she offered no apologies or alternatives, just this unusual comment.
another waiter CHAD came to the rescue to help. I celebrated my birthday here in the past and he was our waiter, he is consistently very good.
the food was good, the experience was not this time around.
The lighting is dark around the bar area. Try the lamb and grilled shrimp during happy hour. Friendly staff but not attentive.
We are regulars for Seasons 52 at various locations. This location is similar to all. Server was outstanding providing good advise or wine and food choices. Food was very good and service was outstanding.
i have to say, the food is outstanding ,and well worth the idiosyncrasies we experienced. We arrived a bit early, and were asked to wait at the bar while they wiped down our table ready. After 30 mins, I went back to the hostess stand and asked for our table, and was told it was just cleared, she would come and get me. Another 20 mins and I went back and asked again this time standing there to wait. It took quite some time to get a table, which I understand, but it was just frustrating to continue to be told it was ready and we had to keep waiting. The servers are all fantastic, and is the food. just give me an up front estimate on my wait time. you won't regret going to Seasons 52!!
Tuna tartare was amazing. Lamb was properly cooked, didn’t care for what it came with.
