Waiter Scott was superb. We met friends from Arizona whom we hadn’t seen in 16 years. Their 1st Seasons 52 visit. Their Son is a new Tampa resident. I think we have converted him to loving the food, service & atmosphere as much as we do. Another great Seasons 52 experience.1
Seasons 52 was quite busy on a recent Saturday night. Despite the crowd, our server was very prompt. Our cocktails came quickly and correctly prepared. Our dinner choices were equally delicious. The halibut was perfectly prepared, as was the filet. This restaurant continuously serves good food, well prepared, and done to order. It is obvious that these dishes were not made in advance. As for service, Seasons 52 is the best!
We have dined at Seasons 52 in other cities and have enjoyed our experiences. The service in Tampa is really nice; everyone is so pleasant, nothing is too much to ask. Our waitress has worked at this restaurant for 3 years, so she was familiar with the menu, the wine list, best selections for that day, etc.
My favorite thing about Seasons 52 is the fact that meal sizes are just right. Too much food on a plate turns me off. I also love the desserts served in shot glasses. I love dessert, but not a giant size - this makes having a sweet nothing to feel guilty about.
I still have trouble believing that this a chain. Since we have eaten at Seasons 52 in other cities, we wonder why other chains are unable to keep up.
We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary at Seasons 52 last night. I can’t remember the last time we enjoyed such a lovely evening. Generous cocktails, fabulous sea bass and pork tenderloin finished off with complimentary champagne and dessert. Our waiter, Alec, was excellent and fun. Superb experience from beginning to end. Did I tell you the valet opened my door upon arrival and departure?!
Dinner at Seasons 52 is always a treat. We have always had great meals and the service is wonderful. We love the hummus appetizer and the meals are always just enough. We both had the halibut and it was fantastic. Never disappoints.
Took a friend there for her birthday, and they were great in terms of acknowledging it with a little card and a complimentary amuse bouche. Really nice! Food was mostly decent, though my chicken was very dry and actually choked me at one point. Also, the staff started cleaning up around us a full hour before closing, which was a bit distracting/disconcerting. Service was brisk and competent. I’ll return but I’ve had a couple of so-so to okay meals there of late and hope they do a bit better next time.
Have the roasted cauliflower is so good..
Mother’s Day - staff did an excellent job on what has to be the busiest day of the year. Complementary sparking wine and mini-indulgences was a nice touch given the occcasion.
As usual it was lovely. They were running a bit behind so we were seated in the bar. After a short 10 minute wait the hostess came and said I see from your OpenTable history that you prefer to have dinner in the bar area.A booth just opened, so we will seat you there if you prefer. It was Mother’s Day, and everyone from the valet parkers to each employee that we encountered wished us happy Mother’s Day. Thank you Jessica, your service was out standing.
We were there for Mother's Day. All in all it was pretty good. We were in the back dining room...not as nice as the main dining room, but it was cool and not overly loud...that was good! The service was pretty good considering how busy they were. The food was ok. I didn't really like my meal....the Braised Short Rib for $24.95. I did not like that it was served in a bowl. The short rib was falling apart, but actually chewing it was a little bit tough...should not be the case! It came with carrots and cheese grits. The cheese grits being in the bowl with the sauce for the meat just kind of dissolved them into the sauce. I pointed that out to our server and she brought me a side of cheese grits gratis...that was good. The others in my party ordered the honey something half chicken and the meatloaf. They were good, but nothing special at all. Overall I came away with less of a desire to return. Past visits were really good. Maybe is was just because of the holiday...but short rib for 24.95 should NEVER be chewy!
My wife ordered the halibut. It was cold. Sent it back Did not want ask if she wanted another entree nor did they credit
Great food, great service. Will definitely return. The chili was better than I expected.
Great food and service was top notch
Food was cold- had to remake
The chicken was very dry and the vegetables were hard.
Came for Mother’s Day and unfortunately my Mom’s meal wasn’t very good.
Loved the food and service. I really liked that you take reservations. It's nice to be able to go out for a nice meal and only have to wait for a few minutes for a table.
Food was substandard to my usual expectations. Service was awesome, and though 75% of the food was AWESOME a few bad dishes and deceptively small portions made for a less than perfect experience.
This is my fourth or fifth time here and FIRST substandard experience to be clear!
Great food and cocktails. The back room for a special occasion not so great!
Waited 20min for a reservation placed 2 wks ago, food was decent salmon over seasoned on the smoked salmon flatbread. Waitress was not welcoming at all maybe mothers day was the reason for subpar service.
The waiter was in a rush for us to eat and run from the moment we sat down. Before we even paid the bill he came back and placed the Reserved sign on our table before we even left.
Our second visit - just as good as the first. Very busy on Saturday early evening prior to Mother's Day - they were still seating 6:00PM reservations right up to our 6:30 seating. Food is good and reasonably priced - fish and meats equally well prepared. Service was good despite the crowd.
Overall not impressed, meal was average on the bland side. Prices were high so I expected more. Also was on the loud side as well. Would not return.
We like Season 52 very much because there are healthy options. We ordered a beet salad and grilled tuna. The beet salad was excellent and the tuna was good but not a good as usual. Still the restaurant has many terrific options and most are healthy and tasty.
One problem was that we asked to reserve a booth in the bar. When we arrived, the hostess took us to the reserved booth. She told us that a reserve sign had been placed on the table. There was a couple sitting there who had apparently moved the reserved sign. Rather than moving them, we were relocated to seats at the Bar. We were not happy but did not want to make a scene. The manager came over and we explained the problem. He didn't seem particularly concerned and didn't offer anything for the problem. Since we are regular customers, I expected better.
It was amazing the best stuffed mushrooms I have ever had the waitress was attentive and very nice. The trout was also very good
Great food! We chose 3 different flatbreads to share. Pork tenderloin and steak dinner. Excellent!!
Halibut was worst I have ever eaten. It was like my plate was under heat lamp for awhile. Restaurant has gone down hill...will never eat there again.
Enjoyed dinner with family members in Tampa. Food was presented nicely and tasted delicious. Service was very good except server dropped the ball at end of dinner. Could not get second cup of coffee. Assumed server was cut and sent home. No one else looked to give us service.
Great service & amazing food as always!
I have always enjoyed Seasons 52. I love the atmosphere, the service and of course the variety in meal choices. My friends always enjoy meeting me there. Wonderful small desserts that just fill the need.
Enjoyable birthday celebration with special touches. Great food, creative cocktails, perfect sized desserts!
Our food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Would go back again!
The soup came out cold twice. The third time it was fine. The manager went out of his way to make things right.
First impression -it smells old and not fresh and too dark.
Chairs in private area old and need replaced.
Staff wonderful and very attentive
Food- flat breads good flavor, but some soggy. Shrimp scampi has a very strange and overly spicy flavor, but they did remake- it was fresh and like a completely different dish. Steak in tai salad seemed too early prepped and no flavor.
Again- the staff fantastic! Rachel was wonderful. Among others.
The vibe is old and needs a makeover compared to say the Orlando location.
I have and will continue to recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. There is simply no way to explain how good the food is here. The chefs take the care to ensure that everything is done perfectly and even though this is a chain restaurant, the quality is phenomenal. I suggest this for a business dinner, a date night, or any occasion where you want to enjoy some excellent cuisine.
Went there for lunch and had the seasonal offering of creamed asparagus soup, which was excellent. Also had the lobster flatbread which was very good as well.
Great food and service - many good restaurants in the area and Seasons 52 is one of the best.
You can't go wrong with this joint, superb food and service, my go to when friends are in town...
