Seasons 52 - Tampa Ratings and Reviews
This is the second time I have gone to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Took a business colleague for their first time and they loved it and stated they would be going back and thanked me for introducing them to the restaurant. I highly recommend it and ask for Cody
This was an unusual visit, I often have the New York strip when I go to Seasons 52 and it is always outstanding. However, this evening I think they forgot to put it on because when I got my steak it was cooked medium rare inside but on the outside it had been burnt beyond recognition.
I arrived 1 hour early for my reservation, hostess did not put our name on wait list, instead made us wait almost the entire hour, even though no one was waiting, and there was several empty tables.
We were seated in back of restaurant 20minutes before reservation, as I complained to hostess.
Upon being seated, I immediately said to server that it was very cold. Server, stated I was the third person to say that. Nothing was done about temperature, which made it an extremely uncomfortable dining experience. During dinner, I went to the restroom, and noticed temperature to be set at 66•
If you go to Seasons 52, bring your winter coat!
The wife and I went there Saturday night for our anniversary. The restaurant as a nice gesture gave us a glass of champagne and did not charge us for dessert. Kegan our server, who was exceptional, He was helpful, informative and very attentive throughout the evening. I informed him I needed to order dairy free food. He provided me with a special dairy free menu. I selected the filet mignon with roasted potatoes and broccoli. Now I'm not a huge fan of Broccoli, but it was cooked with extra virgin olive oil and was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. In fact, when I finished the meal the plate was so clean it looked like it didn't need washing. For dessert I had their fresh berries, which were nice and sweet. The only sad (for me) part of the dinner was having to watch my wife eat her key lime pie for dessert. It looked so good and she confirmed it tasted good. Everyone in the restaurant made it a perfect evening. Thanks.
Seasons 52 is one of our favorite restaurants to dine at. The menu is creative and "changes with the seasons" and is full of wonderful selections. The bar was a little slow this night, but the drinks were tasty as were the appetizers and the meal was delicious. Finishing off with the wonderful dessert choices (even though I couldn't have any because there weren't any vegan options), my husband and our friends indulged in deliciousness!
I would like to give a huge thank you to our waitress, Dani! She was really fantastic, and absolutely knew the menu inside out! We were very impressed by her and will request her the next time we go. We celebrated two birthdays and we had a wonderful evening!
Therr were 6 women in our group and you know we can be hard to please. We got there very early for our 5:45 reservation and sat in the bar while we waited. Katie was our bartender and she did a great job. Very nice touch that they offer you a taste of the wine one ordered even if you are ordering just a glass. I ended up changing my mind after tasting what I ordered.
They had our table ready early so we got seated. Our server was knowledgeable and personable - a winning combination. Our food arrived quickly and every woman was very pleased with what she had ordered. We ordered coffee and delightful bite-size desserts. We all agreed it was a wonderful evening.
Had a family dinner - teenagers, parents, grandparents - and this place was perfect. The round corner booth was fun and cozy. Seasonal menu had something for everyone. Food and service were top-notch, and the tiny desserts were delicious.
On this visit: brussell sprouts, mushroom flatbread, scallops, and trout all received enthusiastic thumbs-up. The only minor flaw was that the pears in the pear salad were too hard.
Super nice restaurant, excellent food and a varied menu. Went with some business associates. Everyone enjoyed their meal, noise level was too high was only negative. Wait was minimal, staff was friendly and accommodating. The sea bass was fresh and very tasty. Overall a great experience. I have eaten at other Seasons 52 locations and everything is excellent and consistent. Highly recommend.
Haven't dined here in quite sometime, but still good food and upscale, casual atmosphere. Miss the piano bar though.
Terrific service from Ally P.
A cup of chicken soup was sort of bland for my taste, but salt and lots of pepper and it was enjoyed. I had the BBQ meatloaf and liked it, as well. Done through and tasty with golden mashed. The green beans were underdone for me, a little too crunchy.
My wife had a salad of caramelized pear and burrata and raved over it until the last bite. She also enjoyed her rainbow trout entree.
Still a satisfying experience.
Excellent food. Wonderful server. We originally were meeting s friend. Told hi of our recent engagement. The server overheard. Brought us champagne flutes for toast and later comped dessert. All without any plan on our part to make the dinner an occasion. Cold night. Fireplace. Nice setting.
This restaurant is hit or miss. Last time we were there, we loved it. This this time, the food just wasn’t very good. My husband’s lamb shank was so fatty that at time he could not see the fat and would be pulling it out of his mouth as chewing, the lobster flatbread was overpriced and if I had closed my eyes, I would have no clue what it was. Lukewarm as well. My plank salmon was flavorless and was served with a cold mayo mix that was not complementary. I ate about half of it and had to stop. Our server was nowhere in sight. Finally she came to the table, and apparently they have no other sauces, so she offered melted butter. I said okay because it needed something. Well, she never returned with it. At this point, we are ready to go. We asked for the manager. He offered to bring me something else and took the dish off the bill. We were done. We his took his dessert to go.p offer. That was actually the best part.
The food, as always, was delicious! This was an annual tradition where my husband and I eat an early dinner on New Year's Eve at a fine dining restaurant. This year was not a disappointment. The winter menu was in use and there were two pear salads, the lobster bisque was great and we each shared with others at our table.
Service was weak.
Waitress only fair and made mistakes on bills.
Two couple split checks.
Wrong items from one couple placed on the other couple.
Waitress did not supervise her servers and servers were clueless as to who had which entree.
Trout dish was dry and tasteless
Hard to satisfy a vegetarian with chefs/cooks that maintain a high standard for heavy handed application of spices. On the side seems a difficult option to find though the concept of choices seems easy to grasp from a consumer friendly perspective. Without every request for less spice feeling like a special need, maybe some attention to detail is in order.
The pear and burrata salad was delicious! Not what I was expecting served on a cutting board but it was perfect that way! My advice to you is don’t eat the honeycomb because the wax gets stuck in your teeth. But it was so good I didn’t want to leave even a morsel. The black bean chili was also good. More cilantro creama please!
