Seasons 52 - Tampa Ratings and Reviews
Me and a couple of Friends went to seasons 52 for mid week lunch and had a wonderful time. Two of us got the pairings with flat bread and soup or salad. I hope you got the short ribs and cheddar flatbread with the Caesar salad and my friend got the lobster and mozzarella flatbread with the lobster bisque we are both very impressed. My other friend got the caramelize pair Barata salad with the a cup of the lobster bisque, although the portion was small she enjoyed her meal. There was a little bit of confusion with the pricing from my friends brought a salad and lobster bisque, and she would charge much more than she was told, however the manager spoke to us and gave us all $25 gift cards for our next visit! I was customer service at its finest :-) we will be back again.
Seasons 52 is one of my favorite places to dine, as the ingredients are always fresh and well prepared, along with an appropriate portion size. This time was different, unfortunately. All I saw was “plate” beneath dinner. Usually the servings cover its’ serving dish, not this time. Even though the bay scallops and lemon ravioli were yummy, I left hungry- not ok. This is especially surprising as I am not one who eats large portions - this was just too skimpy. I will go back, but will not order this dish- ever.
Excellent server, though I have forgotten his name. He is from Texas and was in the Army for 7 years.
The only thing I didn’t like was the desserts being served in those little glass tubes. Pecan pie and pumpkin pie should be served in the shape of a wedge and on a plate with a big dollop of whipped cream on the top or on the side. Those little glass tubes are prissy and sissy. They remind me of something that a group of women would like. They aren’t for men.
Food was good but for the money we spent the portions was ridiculously small. Ordered ravioli and scallop dish which was priced at $29 and it came with two ravioli and a handful of scallops that were so small. Had to pay for a bread basket and after we finished our meal had to ask to see the menu to order an appetizer so that we didn’t leave the restaurant hungry. So dinner, appetizer and one glass of wine for one person was 50 dollars and did not feel that it was worth it.
We had a wonderful experience here. The waiter was knowledgeable. The manager came by to say congratulations (it was a special occasion) and offer some complimentary items. The cocktails were top notch and worth the money. Food was excellent and very fresh. They were very kind to our well behaved infant as well. We did not feel like we were unwelcome with a child. I will definitely be returning.
Went to Seasons 52 for the very first time on Thanksgiving. Normally we cook at home, but this year we decided we wanted to make it simple and just go out. You never quite know what to expect at restaurants on a holiday, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everyone had something different, but I went with the traditional Thanksgiving meal and it was delicious. It actually had a very homemade look and taste to it. Our waiter Zach was awesome too. My daughter is vegan, so this seemed to be the perfect spot for us. She had lots of options and my husband was still able to have a steak! My only (very tiny) complaint was that I was hoping they would send those of us who order the Thanksgiving meal home with extra leftovers. We had dinner at Ruth Chris a few years back and they gave you a full "leftover Thanksgiving" meal to take home for the next day! What a genius idea. Hope Seasons 52 catches on to that idea in the future. Regardless, we really enjoyed our meal and definitely will be back soon!!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with friends. A very generous special offering of delicious turkey and wonderful sides. They had their standard winter menu available as well with wine selections for everyone. It was crowded with about a 10 minute wait past our reservation time. A very pleasant experience.
Enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast here this year. The meal was complete with all the necessities of the holiday with preparation and presentation to perfection. The quantity met and exceeded the quality. I could not finish the meal in spite of its excellence.
Went there for Thanksgiving dinner 2017. Very tasty food served timely with great drinks. Have never seen such a hustliing staff. From the managers down to bussers, everyone hustled. Food was great. Would recommend it and would go back again.
Our meal at Seasons 52 was a pleasure from beginning to end. We went for Thanksgiving. The food was delicious and the service was a pleasure. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. We drove a half hour to visit this location- it’s worth the drive.
Thanksgiving dinner was superb & our server Josh was an exemplary professional.
Was there when we needed him & not intrusive or annoying! Was our first time here & will certainly returned!
Exactly what I expect from a fine dining establishment.
Oh, also the food was delicious!
Greatly appreciated the "Never any" protein sources & organic, seasonal, plant-based selections!
At least four stars if not five- since the prices were reasonable- as compared to many five star restaurants.
Received an email from Seasons 52 for a special dinner (salad, entree and dessert) for $29.00 that ran through the 22cd of November. We went there for a birthday dinner on the 21st. When we asked about the special we were told that was for the week before and was no longer offered. After the server got with the manager the special was back in effect. I elected to have the maple glazed baked half chicken and California yellow beets as the salad. Beets were excellent however the half chicken was on the small size and no wing. Service was very good. Seasons 52 would be an excellent place for an intimate first date and would leave a lasting impression.
I was shocked when we waited exactly 1 hour from the time we ordered to receiving our entree. Yet the manager was there and Dud not even attempt to apologize to any of the guests (even as we left). I think a good manager he would've probably went to the Tables and apologize for the long kitchen delays. Maybe even offer a Dessert or something. Our 8 pm reservation we were seated 30 minutes late also. It was extremely long wait and we were not the only guests frustrated. Our waiter was friendly. Maybe hire more help?
