Seasons 52 - Schaumburg Ratings and Reviews
The appetizer and meal both lacked flavor. Presentation was there but that was it. The green beans on my dish where steamed with nothing in them, no seasoning, broth, butter or juice of any kinds. They were just steamed and dry. I can do that at home, I go out for better.
Had a reservation for 6:30 last Saturday night restaurant was very busy and waited 20 minutes. Waitress was not very engaging and was very unattived
Food was not up to par ordered the Chilean sea bass was seasoned with too much salt.
In the past was always a great experience but not this time.
Seasons 52 does not disappoint! I had the Lobster Bisque to start which was rich and delish with flakes of lobster. I had the sea bass for my entree and it was prepared perfectly and was really tasty. To finish, I had the carrot cake dessert which was the perfect size and finish to a great meal. If you are not a fan of any of the items, not to worry, the menu is very extensive and has something for everyone.
Carol was our server and she was probably the best server I have ever had. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. It was an all-around excellent dining experience!
Pleasant bartender served drinks at the bar before our table was ready right on the reserved time. Our server explained the specials in a manner that made us want one of each and gave us time to consider the rest of the menu so we didn't feel rushed on a busy Saturday night. Food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and birthday celebration. We'll go back, gladly!
We had dinner at the Season's 52 restaurant in Schaumburg this past Saturday night. We were celebrating a friends birthday. The wait staff was friendly and respectful. They waited on the table in a very timely manner. We were celebrating a birthday. The birthday boy didn't care for the meatloaf so he ordered the chicken, secondly. Not only did Season's 52 not charge for the meat loaf, they didn't charge for the chicken either! The Manager came over and spoke to us. This was very thoughtful as I haven't experienced this type of impeccable service in a long long time. A huge thank you to the owner and staff here! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a lot of reasons. They really care about their customers and make sure you are happy! Thank you so much!
I have dined at Seasons 52 many times. I tend to visit for special occasions. This visit was no exception as it was a friend's birthday. I noted that in the Open Table reservation and there was a card for her on the table when we arrived. Valet parking is available on weekends and affordable ($5). The ambiance is upscale but warm and inviting. Our waiter, Robert, provided just the right level of service. Never hovering, but always there when needed. From our starter of wild mushroom flatbread with goat cheese to the salads, entrees, and wonderful mini desserts, everything was really terrific. If you haven't been there, give it a try!
Our server Tommy gave just the right amount of attention; drinks as needed, recommendations as requested. Food was good as usual. Atmosphere was loud and place seemed pretty crowded for a Friday just after New Years. It is always loud here, so I assume they planned the accoustics that way - sometimes hard to hear each other.
Seasons 52 is a favorite for our family with good food options for everyone. The food is consistently good and we like the seasonal options too. It can be a bit of a zoo depending upon where you are seated and the date/time of the reservation. We like the booths in the bar best. Parking is challenging and you must use the valet service most times.
Haven't been to Seasons 52 in a while and was excited to meet a friend here for lunch. Warm and cozy atmosphere, the service was on point, and love that there are healthy options to choose from. My friend had the chili and one of the flatbreads - she loved them both. I had the mahi-mahi tacos - they were good but I would have liked a little more "kick" plus they were warm, not hot, which made me think they may have been sitting a bit before being brought to the table. Had the warm beet salad as a side - it was great (excellent if a little goat cheese were added). Had the carrot cake "shot" for dessert - love that these are small bites, which eliminates any New Year's resolution guilt. Many items on the menu sound delicious, so I hope to return soon.
I don't normally write reviews, but I think it is important to show appreciation when a restaurant goes above and beyond. Seasons 52 was already one of our family's favorite restaurants for special occasions. Accordingly, my daughter and I chose it to surprise my wife for her birthday. Unfortunately, Seasons was out of the beef needed for my daughter's burger. Rather than dissapoint us, they went to the store to get the meat. They intended to do all of this without our knowledge. Unfortunately, it took longer than expected. There were also couple of other issues that delayed our meal. Through out the entire evening, our waitress Jennifer and the manager, did everything in their power to help make up for the delay. I sincerely appreciate their genuine effort to make things right. The level of customer service they gave us, despite the other issues, was exceptional. Accordingly, I wanted to share this note of thanks with Jennifer and the manager. They helped ensure that my wife had a very special birthday evening.
The food was wonderful, as always!
Our waiter, John D., was absolutely wonderful. He had great dinner recommendations, found us menu items that we could have to qualify for the Happy Hour pricing, and his drink recommendations were fantastic. He was super patient with our questions and the time it took us to pick out our menu choices.
He was humorous, engaging, and personable. When we return, we will be asking to be seated in his section again.
Pipes were frozen so they couldn’t make my signature cocktail (bourbon and ginger ale) Dinner took two hours, because of the slow service. Took forever to get a kids menu, and we had to suggest dessert to the server. The food was still good, but the long waits didn’t add to the experience.
We dined for the first time at Seasons 52 for lunch on New Year's Day. What a find! The shisito pepper app was one of the best things that I have eaten all year! My husband loved the scallops entree. Enjoyed the 'shot glass' desserts. Our server Tony was a very attentive and helpful. This meal was a really great start to the new year. I big thank you for the gluten free offerings.
Very pleased with service of our waitress Cindy. She was very attentive and aware of our time to be at NYE party. I asked if Cindy would check to see if had certain wine that normally only available by bottle , but returned with positive that we could have 2 glasses. We will definitely return to have another meal at Seasons 52
The wait staff always does a fantastic job, and even with the high demand on New Year's Eve, they shone brilliantly again. The food was fantastic, as usual. Our waiter was very attentive (Andrew) and even the General Manager visited the table and was very pleasant. They were very helpful in fulfilling a gift card challenge that we had and I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great date spot, for a business meeting, or a healthy night out! Great job, again!
This review is specific to our NYE experience. We were running about 20 min late for our reservation on one of their busiest nights. The desk staff were exceptional about trying to accommodate us anyway, and slipped us into the flow after only a 15 min wait.
The food is always solid without being “too much”. The wait staff was also exceptional, even without considering the NYE crush.
Seasons 52 has been our NYE go to for 6 yrs running and has never let us down.
I liked our server (Breanna), and the desserts were awesome and the main dishes were good. My chicken dish was dried out and over-cooked, but my wife's filet mignon was excellent. My daughter's caesar sald was good but the macaroni and cheese was more like macaroni and mushrooms/truffles. Next time, I will be more vocal about the meals and send back those dishes that not up to standard. But because it was a birthday dinner, I didn't want to break the mood by sending my main course back.
I loved the way our server helped to make our birthday celebration special and thought she did a great job taking care of us and making us feel welcome. The desserts are outstanding and I discovered that Seasons 52 has a really nice happy hour menu that is available during the week days until 7:00pm. I recommend Seasons 52 for a birthday celebration or if you're looking for nice cozy dinner get-away!
