Seasons 52 - Schaumburg Ratings and Reviews
I probably made a mistake in ordering the chili and a side of beets for lunch, but I didn't want much and I usually like chili for a lunch, This chili was more like a soup, not very thick and not a lot of flavor. The beets didn't have much flavor either. However, the other 3 I ate with really enjoyed their choice of lunch. I'm gluten free also, so my choices were more limited than their's.
For a chain, Seasons 52 is surprisingly good. The food is fresh, the portion size is ideal, including the calorie count on each item is helpful, and the mini desserts are a perfect way to end a relatively healthy meal. The restaurant itself is attractive and comfortable, and the service is always attentive, professional, and friendly.
My family and I were out in the Schaumburg area and were celebrating some good news. I found this place on yelp as I am not familiar with the area; it was very highly rated. The ambiance was very nice. We are from the north shore and it sort of reminded us of Wildfire in many ways. Although it was quieter than Wildfire which I did appreciate. The food was very well prepared and delicious. The wait staff was super attentive and made us feel comfortable. I would definitely go back.
We had the Lobster flat bread appetizer and Lobster Bisque which were excellent. Our main course was the Filet Mignon, which was the best filet mignon I've ever had. We love the ambiance at Seasons 53. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service is superb.
I liked the look of the restaurant when you walk in the front door. It was very busy but handled nicely by the staff. From the front desk to our table all we saw were happy people dining and talking. The service and meal were very good. The small dessert choices are a nice finish.
Fantastic lunch. It’s the holiday season and I really like how Seasons 52 ask if you have any time constraints so they can accommodate your needs. Also, they don’t rush you if you are there celebrating the holidays. Jenna was our server and she was excellent. I had the appetizer crab cake and the other diner had the fish tacos. We also shared a flatbread. The mushroom one was delicious.
Food was good. They do seem to have a problem staying on track with reservation times. We waited almost 30 minutes past our time. I was there 3 weeks ago and had the same issue. They also had bumped my time by 15 minutes. They insisted that was the time I had made even when I showed them my confirmation email showing the time I had reserved. Not a big deal but just admit you changed the time and don't say I did it.
This past week something was smeared on the underside of our table which got all over my friends sleeve. He got a clean napkin but maybe a comped desert would have been nice.
My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary this particular visit to seasons 52. I brought in a card and a small arrangement of flowers earlier that afternoon and asked if the items could be presented during dessert. Management was more than happy to accommodate my request.
Upon our arrival for our 6:45 dinner reservations we were told that seating was running about 15 minutes behind, so we found a couple of seats at the bar. This is when we met Kirsten our bartender. She greeted us with a beautifully wonderful smile and was just Wonderful through out the entire evening!
As prompted the gifts I had dropped off earlier we're brought out during dessert. It made the night perfect.
This is OUR place.....from our very first date two years ago to our 2nd year anniversary. We will keep coming back. We have yet to have anything but a fantastically wonderful experience. Thanks for going the extra mile and hiring stellar people!
Gani was our waiter who was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. All of our meals were delicious and enjoyed the flatbread and especially the desserts! Thought the meals were a bit pricey and were surprised that the bread basket was an extra cost. Overall it was a great meal with awesome service.
Meal was excellent and atmosphere was becoming. Service needs help. Ordered drinks and it felt like it was fifteen minutes before she returned with them. Then is was another 15 mintues before she returned to take our order. Hinted that I thought that she had fallen asleep in the backroom to let her know that she was a bit slow tonight but she did not acknowledge my comment. Maybe she got the clue by the lower tip she received. I do recommend the restaurant, just upset by a bad waitress accompanying a great evening with family.
