Seasons 52 - Schaumburg Ratings and Reviews
Good place overall. Don't get any chicken dishes, and don't bother giving their management feedback. Have tried their chicken a couple of times. Bland and overcooked. Tried to give manager feedback but he was too busy coming up with his own answer to actually listen. Other dishes are usually pretty good. Sometimes pricey for the size, but quality is typically there.
A bit disappointing. We ordered the cheese fondue for an app and it took them 20 minutes to realize that they didn't have the ingredients to make it. The manager did come over and apologize and bought us an app. She recommended the lobster flat bread. We found it dry and tasteless and wouldn't order it again. The salmon was very tasty. The scallops were done well but it was supposed to come with broccolini and, apparently, they were out of that, too, and substituted limp green beans without asking or informing me. The place has a great atmosphere but, unfortunately, the food just didn't match it. Wouldn't run back.
We ordered off the Harvest menu which was a bargain. our server was lovely and accommodating. We sat in the bar area which was moderately noisy until a very large group of women came in and crowded our table while standing in the bar. I didn't need ti hear their conversations. at that point we finished and left.
We had made reservations for 7:00 but did not get seated until 7:20 which they said was one time...not to me it isn't .
We had an enjoyable evening while dining at Season 52. I appreciate that they honored the time our reservation as well as seating us in the bar. I was a bit disappointed that they stopped having piano players in the bar. The food was outside as always!!! Our server was a nice young man and very attentive. It is always a treat to dine with you at Seasons 52.
We met our out-of-town friends for a night out and good conversation. We were seated to the back of the main dining room which turned out to best for conversation. The wait staff were friendly and courteous and the food was fantastic! We would come back without a doubt.
Loved the fresh variety of seasonal menu items. I had roasted chicken was a tad it dry, my daughter had the cedar plank salmon and it was delicious. My husband loved his tilapia & broccolini. Others in our party enjoyed the lamb shank & scallops. Really no complaints. Service for the most part, very prompt. The restaurant was very busy definitely recommend reservations. Loved her the mini dessert options. Only thing negative, very noisy and definitely need some reading glasses. Very difficult to see the menu.
Our waiter, Tony, treated us so well. He was truly a professional server in every way. He was most gracious and took care of every detail. It is a real treat to watch him practice his craft of approaching the table at just the right time with just the right information. Remembering to wish our guest a happy birthday. We all felt pampered. Thanks so much, Tony!
