We sat at the bar instead of a table as we prefer the bar usually. Still disappointed that they got rid of the piano man a year or so ago. Not cool. It took a few minutes for one of the three bartenders to notice that we were there despite the place NOT being busy. They attended to two other new couples BEFORE they got to us even though those couples came in after us. We are Vegan and it was great to be offered a Vegan menu. The items on the V menu were very very weak. Considering they pride yourselves in being "fresh" their V offerings are substandard. They should incorporate Vegan cheese on their V offerings. Or step it up a notch and get creative and avoid the crappy V cheese. More and more people are going healthy and doing Vegan. They might want to jump on the bandwagon. The only Vegan dessert was fresh berries which were not fresh as they tasted like they were in the refridge for days. Prior to switching to Vegan we loved 52. They need to step up their offerings and put an effort into or drop it all together. Otherwise they are doing a disservice to their reputation.

The harvest menu was a good value and the food was very good. The service was very attentive and friendly. It got a little noisy at peak hour but was tolerable.

We had the trout and the sea scallops. Both dishes delicious and attractively presented. Also ample portions. Always a joy to dine here.

Restaurant was busy and service was very slow. It took 15 minutes from the time we sat down to get a glass of water. I was looking forward to ordering the lamb but was told not to get it because several tables had sent it back, so I ordered the Filet Mignon, which was VERY GOOD -- better than the filet at the Capital Grille next door. Our overall experience was just average at best. We came hungry and it took a while for our first course to come out. Our server was out of sight and didn't follow up with us at all to see how our entrees were or if we needed anything. Not sure if we'd go back anytime soon.

We have eaten at Seasons 52 in Sarasota many times previously, both as a couple and with friends, and have had excellent food with fair to excellent service. When it is busy, service can sometimes be a little slower than we'd like, but until now, has not been a problem. However, at this last visit, the service was absymal from our main server. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, however, it took some time until our server came to take our order for drinks. Then it took awhile longer until he returned to take our appetizer order.

We waited 45 minutes for our appetizers to arrive, with no sign of our server until then, at which time he announced he was sorry for the long wait, but the kitchen ran out of the butternut squash soup most of us ordered and he had to wait until a new batch was ready. Did it never occur to him to let us know and ask if any of us might wish to switch to something else? That lack of common courtesy pretty much ruined our dinner experience. Although we enjoyed our entrees when they were finally served, we were all still extremely annoyed at what happened.

Finally, once we had our mini-desserts and coffee, we had to wait to get our checks, and then wait even longer until the server returned to take our credit cards. Despite the fact that we love the food at Seasons 52 in Sarasota, based on the multiple difficulties we experienced at this visit, we have no desire to return in the near future, if at all.

Great night. Great food. The only exception was my filet was pretty salty. Otherwise the apps, wine salads and entrees were very good. They made the birthdAy girl feel very special too. The servers were very attentive and since we both work, it's so nice to find a happy hour until 7pm!

We are semi-regulars ....40ish, professional, polite, humble.....really love the food and ambience in and out. Server was SO bad...no interpersonal skills at all...put the final bill over my shoulder on to table - to avoid eye/human contact ...she was brutal!!

As usual, Seasons 52 fails to disappoint...have always had a great experience with the brand. This time, wanted to point out the excellent and amazing service provided by Eddie. He knew the food, recommended dishes and was simply spot on!! I highly recommend him if you are dining there...ask for him, please. And get an equally amazing and engaged guide.

Had our starter. Waited ages for main course. We could see our plates of food on the pass. They just sat there, our waitress oblivious/absent/ clearing another table. Eventually she woke up, went over to the pass & placed her hands on our food obviously to see if it was still hot after sitting there for so long. She brought the food over & denied she'd touched it whilst apologising for the delay. Called the manager (gormless), told him what we thought & left, never to return again. Went to Cheesecake Factory instead. Seasons 52 has lost its mojo & magic.

We have eaten at several Seasons 52 restaurants over the past 10 years and always rated the experience as Excellent. We have eaten at this particular site at least a dozen times. This was our first disappointing experience. The food was average and the service was not what one would expect for Seasons 52.

Seasons 52 is consistently one of the top restaurants in Sarasota. The staff is professional, well trained, friendly, and not intrusive. Friends and I go regularly for dinner. The mushroom soup is outstanding. The chef says it is because of the mushroom powder that he uses. Whatever, it is really wonderful. The main dining room can be noisy on crowded nights. There are quiet booths and tables in side rooms and in booths along the wall in the bar area. Outside seating is available for those who enjoy over-looking the parking area, a feature many restaurant seem to think is attractive to their guests. Valet parking is available for only $5 plus tip.

When we sat down, the waitress was rude and had zero patience. We hadn’t seen some of our family in a long time. It was a celebration of my Mother’s 90th Birthday. We ordered our meal and when it arrived, it was a total clusterfunck; the waitress did not remember who ordered what, some of us did not get our salad/appetizers. When the entrees arrived, some were cold and a few of them overlooked. No salt or pepper on the table. The appetizer plates were never removed when the entrees came out.

They finally assigned a new waiter who tried very hard to make right and he was doing a great job...until I looked over and saw an employee using a duster to dust the wine shelves!! I was appalled and when we brought it to the waiters attention, there were no words. We had a cake brought in and dessert was served without silverware, coffee was served without spoons, no sugar, etc... The next thing we know we are told our whole meal was comped. I think they did the right thing in the end, but a restaurant of this quality is beyond disappointing. This was a special event and never did I expect a situation like this. I am an avid eater at Seasons52 in Tampa. I go there frequently.

We asked for, and got, the big round booth in the lounge. Thanks to management for making that happen! Kyle was our server, and he was outstanding. Very friendly and knowledgeable, with a great can-do attitude. Service was great, food was great (mostly small plates, wine flights, appetizers, etc.), and the evening was a huge success.

We used Open Table for reservations. We were 10 minutes early and were prepared to wait; however, it ended up being a half-hour, which was unnerving.

Then! The manage stepped over and offered an appetizer. Then! The waitress was just wonderful! Everyone's meal was exceptional! Loved being seated in the back where we could hear each other better. What began as a frustrating evening dinner soon transformed to a delightful time.

We always bring our out-of-town visitors to Seasons52, and were very pleased, once again.
