Thank you...you are the best Seasons 52!!! Consistently great service and delicious meals.
I love this chain. This restaurant is easy to get to off Harbor Drive. I had the special, with appetizer, entre and desert cup for $32. They have lots of bar options. They do validate parking for the adjacent shopping village complex.
One of our favorite San Diego restaurants — but the last two times, the service was terrible. We sat in the bar area, and were all but ignored. The restaurant was not at all busy, while we were there. 7:30ish on Mother’s Day. Josh was a terrific server, but he was going off shift.
The food was delicious from the flatbread pizza to the seafood and steak dishes however unfortunately the service was not very good with an inattentive server. However the management made things right for us despite lack of an attentive service.
My first Mother’s Day
Good menu selections. The artichoke appetizer and shrimp and mushroom appetizer were very good. The main courses were tasty except for scallops, which were over cooked and rubbery. Desserts were also perfectly sized and yummy finish.
Mother’s Day brunch was a good deal!
Reservation was for 1:30 was seated at 2:25, close off reservations if you are unable to honor them. I was not for lack of seating available.
We have gone to Seasons 52 nearly ever Mother's Day since they first opened. We have always enjoyed their creative and seasonal menu. This year, it was a completely different experience. I am aware that Seasons 52 is under new management. So, perhaps this will explain why the food quality went down so badly. I would like to say that our waiter was absolutely wonderful. The service was fantastic. The food on the other hand was not at all what we expected from our previous experiences. My wife's scallops and risotto literally tasted like a bowl of salt. Both my mother's and my steak was severely dry on the outside and burnt and bloody on the inside. I reverse sear steak all of the time.. not sure how the chef managed that. My children ordered off of the kids menu and my son's mac and cheese actually tasted bitter. We ended up sending it back and he his dish was so delayed that we ended up purchasing him a meal at a different restaurant. Really bad experience. Not sure that we will come back again for mother's day or for any other day. If this change is because of the new leadership/management, then the food will probably not improve.
Great mothers day brunch! Would come back for special occasions.
Enjoyed a terrific Mother’s Day Brunch. Our server Bri was attentive and considering there were some new guys as runners during the anticipated Mother’s Day brunch rush, they were sharp and took good care of us. I don’t know who it was, but the female bartender did a great job educating her new runners and seemed to be really on the ball. The food as always is fresh, delicious and combined/plated well, Impressed!
This I am sure it is an outstanding restaurant for dinner probably lunch. Mother’s Day Brunch?, they just phoned it in with a couple of items. very few breakfast related items available unless you consider a split pea and kale soup a appropriate appetizer for a brunch
Valet discount info was a mystery to waitress.
Starters took 30 minutes to arrive (soup & salad)
Entrees arrived 5 minutes later
Gnocchi was not only over cooked, it was slightly burnt.
We had a large group and everything was perfect!! Great staff!
The food was really great and came out quickly. Our server was super friendly and very accommodating, especially with splitting checks as we are in town for a work event. I had the tuna tartare and it was fantastically fresh.
Open table res, seated promptly. Attentive waiter
Food was amazing. He did forget to show us the additional menu, which we might have considered had we known. However our waiter was very apologetic and willing to put the brakes on the order if we wanted to change our minds, but we did not.
The bottle of wine we wanted (Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio) was not available chilled and we were asked if we were willing to wait additional time while they chilled it. We chose another but definitely our second choice.
Two entrees were brought out while we waited to start eating for our third. This should not happen.
Excellent food though and if these couple of items had not happened, I’d say all in all it was excellent.
Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner are Seasons 52. Good selection of menu items, excellent fish, attentive service and at a reasonable price. First time at the restaurant. Will be back.
Great place, food was great, service good. Highly recommend
We came from Utah for a business meeting and decided to go to Seasons because of the proximity to our hotel.
BEST DECISION EVER!! Loved everything about this place! The decor, the service and the food, everything was spot on!! It was a little expensive but the value that was brought by the entire experience made it well worth it.
If you're trying to decide what to eat, I recommend you try the lobster bisque no matter what else you decide to eat.
Good enough food, overpriced. Their tiny, shot glass sized desserts were the highlight of the evening. Just enough sweet to finish off the meal.
Let me start with the service because that was the best part. Atmosphere was great but the rest was so so. Food wasn't bad but nothing out of the ordinary.
Excellent service, food, wine and desert. I would highly recommend Seasons 52.
Consistently good. The Happy Hour specials are a real bargain. A glass of wine and flatbread can't be beat.
The black bean soup is so delicious.
Don't miss the whole cauliflower with cheese - yum.
always love Seasons 52 ... great food, great service
Nice ambience and good food. Grilled scallops w/goat cheese risotto was tasty and an ample portion. Very friendly and fast service
The first time I have ever been to season 52. I was looking forward to it. Got a distracted waiter, had to wait 14 minutes to get water, almost went to the bar to ask for drinks. He kept leaving and not returning, it was the end of his shift. He seemed very distracted, forgot about his customers. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time.
It was strange that there was no bread. When the plates were set out, I figured they were bread plates.
The server was very good at keeping water glasses filled. But too fast removing appetizer plates as the table appetizer was still in the center of the table with food on it.
The roasted cauliflower on my plate was barely warm and not tasty. It must have been sitting on the plate for a while.
The pork was dry, a little overcooked, I think. It needed a sauce or something. I wouldn't order it again.
The lobster tail was nice but, not served with drawn butter.
There was quite a lag between appetizers and entrees. Entrees were delivered to three guests then a long delay before the other two arrived. It really wasn't that busy. Food should have come out faster.
I guess, to be fair, I'd try it once more time.
Another person at the table thought their salad and scallops were quite good.
nice space with decent parking, but parking not free. good food as always!
We had a great evening and good food.
Celebrated our April birthdays
Food was good as always but service needed improvement.
Tried the seasonal Cornish Hen-what a delightful surprise: it was GREAT! so flavorful and the side veggies were perfectly prepared.
Also tried the "New-Fashioned" hand-crafted cocktail. This is a great interpretation of the classic Old Fashioned.
Will be back frequently (collecting points!).
Great setting, upscale yet reasonably priced. Good value for the money. We were celebrating an anniversary and they surprised us with a few glasses of champagne and a photo that they developed and gave us at the end of our meal. Wonderful experience, great service and food.
Superb, as always. Devin was terrific.
Restaurant was virtually empty at 1:30 on a Sunday. We had excellent service. Server was patient w all the time it took the six of us on selection decisions and very attentive. We had extra time after eating to just be together- appreciated that. New Spring menu had a good variety of selections. Location excellent when friends are in town!
I would recommend, however, I would not for the chicken dish. My chicken was very dry and not tasty at all. I visit the Seasons 52 in Orlando and love their chicken dish.
Delicious choices! Excellent service!
Was SO happy to see a Seasons 52 in San Diego...Had recently dined at one in Schaumburg, IL and loved it! Will continue to recommend to others❤️
Great service and great food. Waitress was excellent. Exceeded expectations
