I am going to give feedback about things I liked and things I did not:
1. Food was good and healthy (nothing fried)
2. Nice location and sitting outside was better due to noise level on a Saturday night at dinner time inside the restaurant
3. Server was quick to put in our orders and very attentive
1. Had a reservations at 6:30 pm and we arrived on time but they were not able to sit us for 20 minutes. The only reason we even sat down within 20 minutes is because we offered to sit outside as the inside was packed. We arrived there before 6:30, our spot should be reserved.
2. We ordered within 15 minutes and the food took about 45 minutes to come out. We were 4 adults, that is a kitchen problem not the server. Arriving at 6:30 and not starting to eat until 7:50, was very tiring when we were hungry.
3. The have a $29.99 deal for a 3 course meal that I did not choose. I instead purchased a soup and salad but they pushed the desert on me to get the deal. I said multiple times I did not want the desert but the server kept pushing it and I gave it to my kid. I did not like that at all....
Overall, it was ok and it might be better during weekdays but I do not recommend going there on the weekends
We had a large group for a business dinner. Loved the dessert choices.
We were able to make a same day reservation for our larger group. Servers were friendly and attentive. Food was wonderful. Only room for improvement was being placed so close to another group that it felt crowded. Overall a great experience.
First time here
The fresh food along with attentive service and relaxing atmosphere makes this restaurant one of the best in San Diego!
Tried some of the handcrafted cocktails and enjoyed them. Dinner was very good and the service was impeccable . Love to visit this location again soon.
Good, healthy food, at reasonable cost. A favorite place indeed.
Baby carrots were not very tender. Salmon was excellent. Wine selection good.
The service and food were excellent. The Hawaiian cosmopolitan was great. Overall, everything was excellent.
We had a fantastic lunch here !!
We had seafood mostly and salads and everything was delightful and delicious.
The service was second to none.
I had guests from out of town and they absolutely loved it.
Very good food! I had two appetizers that had portions large enough for two... tuna and flatbread was yummy.
Have been a fan of Seasons 52 for years, but last two visits have been very disappointing. This time there were a number of faux pas with the service, and the attitude was just "Oh, sorry". No attempts were made to resolve the issues. Particularly do Not like having entree brought while only midway through the salad. When we did get the entrees they were dried out and lukewarm. The food quality was not what we were accustomed to over the years, and the service was hurried and more than dreadful. Not sure if we will return, but if so, it will be at a different location so we can ascertain whether it is a chain wide problem.
Delicious steak and and outstanding blue cheese salad!!
Spending time with my daughter
Great meals. Accommodated our seating needs with a stroller. Love the pris fix meals offered and the offering for my vegetarian daughter n’law. We had a great evening. The noise level is high so just be aware that you probably don’t want to be seated next to a large group. Pretty interiors.
Good was excellent waiter was not as good
We had to wait to order more drinks dessert he was overwhelm with other cuatomers
We have visited many times over the past few years, and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This visit I would rate as "Meh" Our server seemed very timid, and not the polished waitstaff we have enjoyed in the past. I am hoping she is new and will improve in time. The Braised short rib and ravioli dishes were very good (not great), the filet mignon was seasoned very poorly (not at all), and should have been a much more tender cut with the way it was prepared (rare). Having been raised in the South I should have known better than to try the Shrimp and Grits, but I gave it a go anyway, and was disappointed. The shrimp had little to no flavor, the grits had that instant grits to them, and the accompanying tomato based chorizo and bacon mixture had the flavor of canned spaghetti-o's I recall eating as a child. The desserts were appealing, as they have been in the past. Not sure I will be as frequent a visitor as I have in the past, especially with Eddie V's such a short walk away. (which is always phenomenal).
Was the best food for all of us, RATE 5 STAR! Service was outstanding!
All we can say is THANK YOU! you all made Easter Brunch a joy!
We had Easter brunch here and Sean, our server, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, attentive, ready to make suggestions, and had a great table presence. Great experience, per usual.
Unfortunately our food took over an hour. When we spoke with the manager she was very rude and unapologetic all she could say was sorry we were really backed up. The restaurant wasn’t full at all.
Great place for lunch downtown, easy parking and good food.
The filet mignon was exquisite. This was the only great thing about this restaurant. I made a reservation earlier that day and wasn't seated for another fifteen minutes after arriving five minutes early. Once being seated, the waiter had to be prompted for every single thing I needed. He made an excuse throughout the dinner of how rushed they were with five tables free until we left. The scallops were overcooked and the staff was completely unapologetic for it. This is a glorified TGIF with waiters who are not prepared to serve at a higher level of quality. The staff offers no dedication to a standard of professionalism as they were on their phones as they clocked out. Poor service, terrible wine, and just sad attempt to be on par with Eddie V's just caddy corner.
*Also, this website is broken, I wasn't able to put ONE star.
Dmitra and Jeremy always make it a fine experience.
Much appreciated 🤓
Awesome environment, awesome staff, awesome service, awesome food and drinks.
Great gluten free flatbread option for lunch!
My friend and I had the Hello Spring prix fixe menu for $29.90. The waiter told us that the only dessert choice that was included was the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake; otherwise, we would have to pay an additional $3 for a different flavor of their mini indulges desserts. WRONG! Seems some training needs to happen.
We were celebrating my friend’s 50th Birthday.
The server was awesome, remembered my name and
Was attentive as well. The food took really long to
Come though. Seemed much longer than normal.
It was a Wednesday night. Food was great.
Somehow extra noisy this time. Still a favorite of mine
A great spot in seaport village with a fresh and wide ranging menu that seems fresh and flavorful.
We love coming to Seasons 52.
Their Salmon salad and rainbow trout are awesome. We like to get the ginger agave soda with fresh ginger and fresh mint. Sometimes they don't have the ginger. They can be dissapointing but we still like it.
Superb, superb and did I mention superb? In every way from the tiniest detail such as the bartender stuffing blue cheese in olives for me, to insuring everything was served just as ordered, to the friendliest of service and unrivaled management attention -- it just can't better...but if it can, Season's 52 at the Seaport District will find a way :-)
Excellent food, good service, nice atmosphere. Fixed price menu an excellent value!
Friendly service, great food, Instagram-worthy cocktails.
Seasons 52 was pretty good. Had the pear burrata salad which was the best part of the meal. For entree the scallops. They were ok, almost tasted burned on the outside, but tender on the inside, served with a risotto (just a little bit) that was not anything special, didn't really add to the dish. And the scallops needed something to make them special. I'm not crazy about their desserts, because I don't care for parfaits. However, I love the concept of small size desserts at small prices. Overall, it was a nice atmosphere and service, pretty good food.
Over all service was very good. Flatbread was terrible! Manager actually stopped by and she took off the bill. There was nothing on it. All else was fine.
Seasons 52, Always Fabulous, Always Great Food, Always a super Treat! Can't be Beat.
Seasons 52 is that magical combination of ambiance, authentic food, great service. The menu is created to show the best the season has to offer by way of locally grown veggies served in recognizable, but unique ways. Something to please every palette. The atmosphere fits a business lunch, a first date, or any special occasion. It's high-end, but comfortable. It is a dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Great food, can’t go wrong with anything you order. We got many flatbreads and a couple of appetizers. The mini desserts were perfect. We were full by the end but not too full for a few shot glass size desserts!
Seasons 52 is one of my favorite places to enjoy a good meal with family and/or friends. Servers are always great, hosts/hostesses make you feel welcome and the food is seasonal and wonderful. Servings are reasonable size, and the desserts are fabulous. Both the University Town Center location and the Seaport Village location are excellent.
Healthy menu and good wine list.
