We've been here several times, and decided that it was a great choice for a friend who was visiting San Diego and very health-conscious. We enjoyed wine in the bar, since we were on time, but our table was not ready. Incidentally, our table was a large rounded booth, which was perfect for our lively conversation, and private enough that we weren't bothering others, i.e. well-worth the wait (thanks Seasons). Our server Tamara C. could not have been nicer. She was attentive to the table, without being annoying and allowed us to chat/catch up, but still order our apps and entrees without missing a beat. We will definitely be back again soon.
Good food, reasonable portions, server was a bit obsequious.
Seasons 52 is one of our favorite dining spots in San Diego. Food is always excellent. Our waiter, Alex was outstanding. It’s always loud. Lots of family’s. Not a great romantic dinner spot. Semi reasonably priced. Hey, it’s San Diego! Go and enjoy. Well be back in a couple of months.
This is a lovely restaurant in a bustling area. But it frankly was underwhelming, suffering from the usual drawbacks of being part of a chain. The service was speedy, courteous, and professional; the ambiance was nice. The food was so-so.
We were very impressed with the food. We would glsdly dine here again. My wife and I got the Brick Oven Sea Bass and our teenage son managed to put away the large Filet Mignon . Everything we had including appetizers and desserts was exceptional.
What impressed me the most was after making our selection of the Sea Bass, I was trying to find a nice white wine to go with it. Our waiter entered the conversation and suggested a Spanish wine I had never heard of and was far to conservative to try on my own. The waiter insisted and convinced me that I wouldn't be disappointed. He was so right. The wine paired perfectly with our fish and the taste still leaves thoughts in my head. I loved the compliment of the wine with the fish. GREAT CALL!!!

Our server Joe was OUTSTANDING!!! Granted we were there during Valentine’s Day...it was 3 hours...which was pushing it for our kids. Drinks were really fun!
Decided to take our annually Valentines Day Dinner to a new location my steak was burnt to a crisp outside and lobster presentation was horrendous, my server Brandon was phenomenal and made several recommendations to our table of 10 that were enjoyed throughout the dinning experience, Really disappointing that my meal Filet Mignon and Maine Lobster Tail was not giving its proper attention I did not mention it do to the fact that it was Valentine’s Day and I didn’t want to ruin the ladies evening
Greta was great. Our son and his girlfriend were very late and she was wonderfully patient. Kenya stopped by to say Hi! - love Seasons 52!!!
PS: 4 stars on ambience due to its always so warm / hot in the restaurant.

Good to come here in off hours, otherwise the noise level is extreme. Sometimes you can not hear the person across the table from you.
Went to Seasons 52 to celebrate good friends coming into town. The food was excellent. The two for 52 promotion was a good deal so we went with that. The portion was plentiful and it was delicious! What stuck out the most was the customer service that we received. Jose was personable and was attentive. He answered all questions we had with no hesitation which made it convenient when it came time to order. Awesome service! Will definitely comeback!

Seasons 52 is a wonderful place to eat just about anytime. Love the Seaport District location; ambience is delightful, particularly with the open kitchen. Service is excellent; menus are seasonal and list the calories for each item. Everything is under 600 calories, and it is delicious. They are known for their flatbread, and I concur. We celebrated our anniversary, had delicious mushroom flatbread, lovely salads with just the right amount of dressing; lamb, filet and lobster tail; veg was cooked perfectly. Complimentary dessert because of the occasion, and unexpectedly, a lovely red rose. We brought our own champagne, and we ordered cocktails that were classic and excellent. It is an amazing value. We will be back.
Ordered the Seabass which was okay but a bit chewy. Would have liked a few vegetables on the plate as well. Wine by the glass seemed a bit expensive. Service was great but food was just okay but would try it one more time because I have been to other locations and really enjoyed the food. Probably would bring my own bottle of wine next time.
Love Season’s 52!
It was very crowded and loud and somewhat difficult to have conversations across the table. We ordered 4 appetizers to share that were all good but took awhile to get the entrée orders in and going; once received most were good but the two tuna steaks ordered were horribly overcooked despite giving specific instruction not to overcook. It came so late we just had to choke it down instead of asking for a correction. This was the second of two visits to this location for business dinners with the first one being very enjoyable comparatively; so based on the 50/50 rule I will give it another chance to redeem.
Very convenient to the Manchester Grand Hyatt with indoor and outdoor seating and a very large bar which accommodates diners too. Nice atmosphere with ambient lighting. The wait staff keeps things moving although we received all of our dishes, appetizers and mains, at the same time. Once we were done, we weren't asked about dessert, someone just plopped the mini dessert tower on the table and asked which one we wanted - presumptuous but effective since the cost is low and difficult not to grab one. The trout is always a good choice and the wine selection is nice.
I had to adjust arrival time and Seasons 52 was very accommodating. We were even able to get a table inside. Restaurant was very busy.

We had a reservation, we had to wait for what I consider it wasn’t in a reasonable amount of time.the wine took 30min.not happy. We had to ask for a restaurant week menu. It wasn’t offered to us. We asked for water it was forgotten.i could go on ...
Not a good experience, from start to finish.
We had a 6pm reservation on a Friday night during restaurant week. Despite large groups coming in, our service was terrific and our food came out promptly. None of us had the restaurant week menu: gnocchi, steak salad, maui crunch salad and chicken. The mushroom flatbread appetizer was wonderful. I didn't get to taste the chicken but I love the steak salad with the almonds and light lemon dressing. The tuna on the maui crunch salad was perfectly fresh and the sauce on the gnocchi was just right. We really like this restaurant as they always have good wines to pair with the equally good food.
Restaurant week plus birthday equals awesome
We dined here for lunch during restaurant week and really enjoyed their selection! We ordered the bistro steak and the rainbow trout - both delicious and very generous portions. The caesar salad was almost an entree size, and the split pea soup with kale was very tasty. The dessert options were mini-indulgences (what they called them) and it was about 7-8 mini desserts, beautifully displayed. We had the s'mores and cannoli - both very good! We will definitely be returning!

The place was beautiful, the food was amazing the service was amazing. I wasn’t sure about the food at first but the server actually helped me pick some think out he was patient and kind it was a beautiful night!
Best deal in town. Love the lamb loin. And the pineapple cosmos are to die for!

We had a party of 13, Service was great. Several of us had steak and the temperature of the meat was not consistent with what we ordered. Potatoes and beans were under cooked. Overall service and ambiance met expectations but food did not.
It's always a treat to come to Seasons 52. The food is delicious, but I never feel over-stuffed. The employees are welcoming and the service is excellent. Keep up the good work!

I like it there as you can hold a conversation and in most restaurants you can't.

We had dinner at Seasons 52 twice last week when we visited San Diego for a conference. The menu is varied with great seafood, vegetarian and meat options -- making it a good choice for people with varied tastes and dietary restrictions. It also has wonderful appetizers. The dishes were creative and delicious. Strongly recommend.
The food and service from Josue was excellent! We had the chicken basil flatbread as an app along with the salmon and Ahi Tuna salad, which are quite tasty. My family order steak and chick entrees and they were very satisfied. You can’t go wrong with their food, it’s simply fresh and tasty!
