Service and food were excellent
I can’t think of a better place we could have celebrated birthdays. The food was delicious (I had the small plates of scallops and lamb pops).. and we finished with those sinful desserts. It’s a good thing they are just shot glass size.
Our experience began with a waitress named Renee. She was delightful. Very savvy about the wines and made excellent recommendations. She was attentive and had a fabulous personality. It was truly a pleasure to have her take care of our table.
Miguel was our server for our first experience at Seasons 52. He was awesome to explain the menu and share the Seasonal Specials. We will definitely be back!!
I like that they gave my daughter a Bday greeting card, free dessert and their bday presentation was really nicely done and they took a picture of us and printed it out !
J is our server and he did a phenomenal job celebrating my daughters Bday! It’s also her 1st time at Seasons 52
I had never had a bad dinner experience at this restaurant till this Mother's Day. When we arrived at 6 pm, our reserved time, we were told that their kitchen was running 15 min. late. We were seated 30 min. later, and then we waited for water, then wine & beer. We were surprised that the waitress didn't even offer a glass for the bottle of beer even though we didn't need it. An hour later the waitress brought a flatbread which was supposed to go to another table. It was close to 8 pm when we got our dinner. It wasn't our waitress's fault, but the kitchen was definitely overwhelmed that night. We'll avoid special days in the future.
Horrible. The restaurant was over booked for Mother’s Day. It took over an hour and a half from the time we checked in until we got our dinner. The food finally arrived at room temperature. We only saw our server a couple of times who just kept saying “sorry, we’re slammed”. We asked for the manager to express our frustration and he adjusted our bill. But overall the experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had.
We arrived for our 5:30 reservation at about 5:25 and were told it would be a 20 - 30 minute wait to be seated ... seemed awfully long since we had a reservation. About 5:50 we were called to our table and give menu's to review. We made an early dinner reservation primarily because we had a time requirement that we could not be late. When the waiter came over we were told that the kitchen was backed up and that it would be at least an hour before any food would come out. I thought they were joking. The waiter went to confirm that was the case, came back and said 'yes', only drinks. So, by 6:00 we left the restaurant never eating anything and had to find a new place to go on Mother's Day. They need to find a new way to operate on busy days.
Our server Johnny, was amazing. Food service was extremely slow. Johnny made our night.
One of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. We had reservations but had to wait to be seated. Our entrees took over an hour to be delivered. The showcased soup was unpalatable, as were the vegetables with the entree when we were finally served. And the small, bland portion of my entree made me as if I were having leftovers.
I've been here more times that I can count but the last few times have been horrible, slow service and food not right. We went for Mothers day and made a reservation for 5pm, seated at 5:30 and did't get our food until 7:30pm. I will not be coming back ever for busy holidays. It's a shame because my hubby and I loved this place last year we came at least once a month for the short rib and filet.
What was planned to be a special anniversary dinner, was a fiasco. However, in all honesty, I should have known better than to go on Mothers Day. We had reservations for 4:00, and they had been told that it was an anniversary dinner. We were told that it would be a 30-45 minute wait! When we were seated, about 35 minutes later, it was outdoors in the direct sun, which neither my wife or myself could tolerate. We asked to be seated inside, another wait. We were seated in view of the kitchen, and watched many meals sit for a very long time on the counter. It took us over an hour to be served. When the food arrived it was not warm, and barely edible. The server was advised of this, and 3 times she told us a manager would be over, never showed. She did however offer a free glass of wine, and one of the meals was free. Our anniversary was never acknowledged. When we finally were able to leave, 2 1/2 hours after our reservation time, I asked to speak to a manager, I was initially pointed to one across the room. I asked, "so you want me to chase him down?". Another manager then arrived, apologized profusely, and gave me a gift card for another visit. To be fair, I have been to this restaurant a number of times, and have always been very satisfied, this is not their norm., and I am sure the holiday caused issues. Also, I have no criticism for the server(s), they were "busting their butts", but they just had too large of a crowd to deal with. So I WILL return, and I would still recommend them to others, as I know this is not their usual standard.
We invited family from out of town for Mothers Day - my husband and I were the only ones who had been to Seasons 52 previously. Took an hour and 15 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and food didn't arrive until 2 1/2 hrs after our reservation time (by which time 5 of our group had left for other commitments). On top of this, the appetizers arrived after we had finished our entrees! We all felt bad for the servers since this was obviously not their fault, but poorly managed reservations and kitchen. Thank goodness we didn't have all of our young grandchildren with us this time!
My wife and I usually enjoy seasons 52 but on this Mother's Day the service was horrible we had a reservation for 3 o'clock didn't get seated till almost 4PM then we had to wait another 45 minutes to get our appetizer and then around 520 our food showed up which at that time we were ready to go . Not only was the wait long but once we got the food it was not the taste we normally get at seasons 52 . It was seasoned horribly the mac & cheese we have was bland the Collie flower appetizer was cold , salmon was over cooked overall it was a pretty horrible experience for Mother's Day and my wife was not happy at all.
It was honestly a horrible experience.
Our reservation was at 3:00, upon check in we were told they were running 30 minutes behind, no biggie.
At 4:00pm we were finally sat at a table. An hour past our reservation. All the while the manager is standing at the host stand eating who knows what. Totally unprofessional, when I mentioned this to her, miraculously our table was ready.
At 4:40, we got appetizers. One at a time. Not all three together, they literally came out separately.
We were so hungry by the time they arrived I couldn’t tell you what they tasted like.
At 5:30 we got our entrees. Cold, crusty entrees. I ordered the filet and added scallops. Worst meal my family and I have had in ages. And my grandmother is visiting from out of state.
I would only recommend because I have been several times before and had excellent service. Mother's Day, however, they were definitely not at their best. People were leaving the establishment not happy and telling those of us still waiting that we should just leave. They were more than 40 min behind on reservations. And the wait on entrees was long. When we did get our entrees, I know my food wasn't even barely lukewarm but I didn't want to wait any longer for them to reheat it. It was as if they weren't prepared for the day knowing they would be busy. I will go back, just not on a special occasion type of day such as Mother's Day.
ruined my mothers day. planned 2 weeks early for a nice lunch. they had a wait of 45 minutes even with reservations. people were complaining that it took an hour to even get their order. we left. clearly they overbooked.
Showed up a few minutes early. Waited 50 min. To be seated. Waitress courteous, brought our beverages, took our order. Waited 1 hour, 10 min. Still no food. Waitress said our order was “rolled back.” We requested our bill for beverages, she said not to worry about it. We left her a tip and left. 2 hours-no food.
The restaurant grossly overbooked Mothers Day Brunch. We were seated 1 hour after our 12:15 reservation. We placed our order within 10 minutes of sitting down and then waited 45 minutes for food to arrive. Our server was lovely and very apologetic.
Will definitely never go back.
I feel really bad for this restaurant on mother’s day. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance and still got sat 40 minutes late. It was in no way our servers fault that the kitchen got backed up. We waited about an hour for our kids’ food and 2 hours for our.
They comped a lot (basically all) of our tab. I appreciate our server being honest and saying “we messed up”
I will definitely be back though. I’ve always loved this restaurant and one negative experience hasn’t ruined my thoughts about Seasons52
Facility was poorly managed, very over booked. one hour wait for seating , another 1 1/2 hour wait for food ordered. In total at least two hours. Never before have I seen such poor management with handling guests and the kitchen. It was apparent that they could not handle to volume of patrons booked on Mother's Day. It was a very unfortunate experience which I would not wish on anyone.
We made Mother's day reservations for noon and it became apparent that they overbooked. There was clearly not enough staff to handle the event. The woman at the front desk continually kept telling customers the wait would only be 20 more minutes when consistently guests were being seated nearly an hour behind schedule. We observed guests who had made reservations for 12:15 seated ahead of guests booked at 12:00. Some honestly and humility in this situation from the staff would be appreciated as this was mothers day and some guests may have wanted the option to go somewhere else if they were told it would be 2+ hours wait before they got their food. To make matters worse my wife asked why we have not been seated yet, she questioned why the front of house was telling guests it was only a short wait? The woman up front responded in a rude and condescending way stating "what do you expect me to do ask people to leave?" My wife was simply asking why she continued to tell guests that there was only a 20 minute wait. This was dishonest and disrespectful to ourselves and other guests.
Once we were finally seated the food came out over an hour and and half later. It was cold despite taking so long to be served. The actual server was kind and did the best she could however this could not make up for the rude and condescending behavior at the front of house.
I honestly do not know if we will ever dine here again, I heard awesome things about this place and I wanted to treat my wife out for her first mother's day. Seasons 52 nearly ruined the entire day for my wife and my mother. Overall terrible experience do not make reservations here on a busy day as this place is poorly managed.
Very good food despite the long wait due to Mothers Day, Kudos for serving Free Wine to all while waiting and Free Dessert...Srongly Recommended for any occassion. Will cone back anytime.
Running significant delays on Mother's Day, disappointed with reservation. But server Kayla made our day great!
It took over an hour to get our food. We understood that it was Mother’s Day but people that say after us had left before we even received our food.
From the looks of the place it appeared to be fancy and just what I had in mind for Mother’s Day. I took my girlfriend and our daughter here to celebrate. The greeter was nice and our person who sat us was polite and well dressed. Our server was nice but he was not very timely with things such as our initial waters and getting our appetizer orders. I saw a few plates of fruit with strawberries and melons on them. I asked a passing server if I could order just a plate of fruit. She answered yes. I placed my order with our waiter which included two plates of fruit. When our plates of fruit arrived they only had raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries on them. I asked my waiter if he had seen the plates of fruit I did and he answered yes. I told him we wanted that variety of fruit and not solely berries which we received. He told us that the restaurant ONLY had berries left. Mind you my reservation was at 915am so I find it hard to believe the restaurant ran out of fruit so quickly on an anticipated day such as Mother’s Day. Moving forward I ordered bacon which was soft and mostly fat. When one orders bacon they expect crunchy, at least some crunch, the two plates of bacon I ordered were completely soft. Overall I wasn’t impressed at all as I expected so much more from this establishment especially because I sought this place out to bring my girlfriend on Mother’s Day.
We were disappointed in the Mother's Day Brunch. The potatoes were not cooked thoroughly, lobster wasn't worth the extra $10 or so and the food wasn't hot.
We have had lunch here before and enjoyed the flatbreads and desserts.
Being that our reservation was at the time that they opened. We were seated right away and our orders were taken in adequate time. However, out food was cold. They were not as busy as expected so our food should not have been cold. Our server forgot to order one of our requested items and put the order in when we were pretty much done eating. Side of bacon to go?? Weird suggestion. Two of us ordered bottomless mimosas and we were lucky to get a third one. Not what i expected for my first visit.
Although part of Darden chain, Seasons 52 is always great food and service. Great seafood, especially.
Mother’s Day lunch
Our server Matthew was beyond wonderful...extremely attentive n engaging. We really enjoyed his service. A++
Have been to this location before and had an excellent meal with excellent service. This time around was good, but not as good. Pork tenderloin was dry and veggies were ok.
We used to be big fans of Seasons 52 but probably won't be back. The last two times we were there however, the food has been just okay and the service has gone down as well.
Our service was very attentative. Sorry, I forgot his name. He was excellent and professional. The appetizers were average. Nothing out of the ordinary. We had the duck wings lollipop, flatbread and tuna tartare. However, the entrees were perfect! I had the salmon salad. It was fresh and tasty. The Salmon was cooked just right. I don't like fish overcooked. My son had the tuna salad and it was just as good.
Three course spring dinner is great value until May 10.
Wife's grilled artichoke was under cooked...almost inedible. I guess they don't know you have to cook 'choke before you grill it!!
Our server was amazing and the prefix 3 course meal was delicious!
Enjoyed our dinner, special spring menu items and 7 pm happy hour. Will go back
Great food and exceptional service.
