Seasons 52 - Sacramento Ratings and Reviews
We had reservations and a nice booth was ready for us when we arrived. Our server was prompt, responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and it was prepared very nicely; well presented, had generous servings and was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and so we were complemented a desert and a coffee. Overall it was a very nice dining experience.
My husband and I travel 60 miles to dine at Seasons 52. We do this for special occasions as well as casual lunches. From the moment we arrive to our departure, we are treated like royalty.
Actually, there is an option for free valet service before we even open the restaurant door. We have been going to Seasons 52 for about 5 years now and love it more each time we visit.
Thank You Seasons Team! Victor and JoAnn Nusbaum love you!
The only thing good was our server. She was nice and apologetic for everything that went wrong:
1) gave us the wrong food (order). I got chicken instead.
2) the manager tried to convince me my chicken order (wrong order) was beef, when in fact, it was chicken. I even tasted it! The color of themeat was white! She also said the meat was white because it was overcooked! I think this is what is most upsetting, when a manager doesn't know the difference between chicken and filet mignon!
3) when my correct order arrived, it wasn't cooked the way I requested, medium well. When I got it it was still bleeding. So i sent it back.
4) when i was finally able to eat, my food was cold.I'm so very disappointed at the management.
An excellent new Year's Eve choice, the scallops and the lobster were divine, as were the salads and desserts we selected (Spinach & Pear and a Caesar). All nicely presented and served well by Gustav B. The Key Lime Pie and Peanut Butter Swirl desserts with coffee finished the feast fully satisfied.
We were from out of town and just happened onto Seasons52. What a find. Every single thing we ate was excellent and done to perfection. The ambiance was wonderful and we truly enjoyed out experience to the max. The only bad thing I could say was the service wasn't up to par. We had to ask our waitress for refills on our drinks and our tab. She was slow or overworked.
Would have given a better review for more moderate pricing. However, for the price we paid, the meal was subpar. We've been here before, and this trip was a disappointment. Hors d'Oeuvres arrived before drinks and water, tasteless crab cake, a bone in chicken soup, pasty black rice, cold tuna.
The valet parking was much appreciated as Arden Mall was full, service was prompt.
We all ordered something different! I had bay scallops & they were excellent. My Daughter loved the lamb shanks, 2 huge generous shanks she took 1 home & my Son-in-Law liked the beef ribs, he substituted mashed potatoes for grits & ate it all! I have been to this restaurant in Chicago & Boca Raton, FL., their food is excellent! Everyone loves to try their small desserts & it’s really enough since their meals are healthy & from farm to table! My Children loved it & would also try early bird drinks & flatbreads!
The flatbread was awesome. The salads were good and so was dessert. The entrees (bass and chicken) left something to be desired. Neither were cooked with any seasoning and left to stand on their own with the sides and sauces to flavor them. So, they were rather bland. Good presentation though.
I can’t believe I hadn’t been to Seasons 52! What a gem. Don’t let the fact that it’s at the Arden Fair Mall scare you. It’s a 5 star restaurant. Superior service. It reminded me of being in Europe years ago when waiting tables was a professional career. The food is delicious. Fresh, seasonal. The ambiance is very tasteful. You can have a normal conversation without shouting.
We made our reservations a month in advance for Christmas eve our wedding anniversary .We were excited to try a new restaurant recommended by a friend . Our server was rather new, very friendly and professional and had a good personality. The food was fantastic. Overall our experience was fun and enjoyable. We will return and have already recommended this restaurant to friends.
My first time at the restaurant there celebrating my daughter graduation. The customer service was outstanding the 2 servers were very patient with our large group that included kids. The staff worked with us to make the lunch enjoyable. I would definitely attend this restaurant again.
