Seasons 52 - Roosevelt Field Ratings and Reviews
I have been to Seasons 52 - Roosevelt Field on three occasions. Each meal was well prepared, the waitpersons were very cordial, helpful and knowledgeable. For my most recent meal, I ordered the Lobster Bisque and the caramelized pear salad. The soup was tasted by one of the other diners and was rated very highly. The salad was very fresh and the dressing was exceptional. Also, the quiet and subdued atmosphere was very enjoyable.
Did not realize I've been to Edison, NJ branch until I saw the décor and room layout. Nice surprise since we had a very time at NJ place. Great seasonal selections with excellent service. The only difference between the two places was that Edison had a beautiful live piano player.
I've been here a few times and I've never had a bad meal. The food is always great and in this case, the filet mignon was juicy and delicious, and the seasonal mushroom flatbread was very good as well. My only complaint was the service. I get that it was a busy Saturday evening but the service was very slow and "off". It took a few tries just to have my water refilled, and it's a huge peeve of mine when I'm at a restaurant and I receive my appetizer, only to have my entree brought out less than 5 minutes later. The waitress was very nice, but I wish they were a little more organized.
Excellent food, service from Cory was beyond excellent
He was attentive , knowledgeable about the menu and the recommendations for fish were perfect. We had the sea bass, cooked to perfection, the Brussel sprouts with onions and mushrooms were so tasty as he promised
Def going back again
As usual had a great dining experience. This time split each entree with friend and waitress offered to split entree in the kitchen which was much more convenient and the plating and presentation was beautiful and inviting. And everyrhing was so yummy. Only downside was that it was a birthday celebration and this was not acknowledged as it usually is and the overall sanitation has continued to be decreased. The bathroom has been messy and in need of attention. There is also no more live music. Overall I still love this place and will return.
Suprised my friend with lunch at Seasons 52. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and she had never been there. She loved the ambience of the restaurant , the great food selections and the happy hour which was all day since it was Black Friday. What a great way to celebrate her birthday.
My wife and and I found ourselves alone for Thanksgiving. Nich Morand and his fabulous staff treated us royally! The food and service were outstanding. Even though the place was packed, there was no delay in seating us and the meals were just great! What a terrific holiday meal!
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. Seating was efficient and friendly. But prepared turkey dinner (served within ten minutes of seating) was underwhelming; both in cooking and portion. The server never asked if we'd like a soup, salad or after dinner coffee. It seemed more important to get us out for the next searing. We went there for T-day two years ago and all was fine, but after this outing, I think we'll try elsewhere next year.
You know how I love Seasons 52- but- Thanksgiving was not that great:
I know its a Holiday and it was busy, I won't negate this place. Food on a regular day is aways very good. Have to say one person didn't have Turkey and his meal left Everything to be desired. Aside from that, service was good, place was cosy and well organized, nice bottle of wine. Need to brush up on Holiday food prep.
Manager was great-he got it!
Will always go back.
Usually this is a good restaurant but the last time on a Sunday night they seemed like they just weren’t into it. We ordered quickly but still it took over an hour to get her food and the burger had to go back twice. The first time it was extremely well done the second time it came out so rare that the middle look like uncooked ground beef. Hard to believe a good chef can’t get a burger right with two attempts.
