Seasons 52 - Plano Ratings and Reviews
We had a very nice experience. We love the food at Seasons because it’s calorie counted out and good wine selection. Not over priced. We do miss the piano in the bar but agree it was a bit to loud at times. Our server was nice at first but lost steam towards the end. She also circled the total amount for some reason which was a bit off putting since we are good tippers. Made us feel like we best tip her correctly. We felt that was a little rude. We visit Seasons frequently and our servers have never done that in the past. Anyway, minus the server, my Husband had a very nice Birthday dinner. Thank you.
We recently visited Seasons 52 to celebrate a special occasion with our daughter and her husband, who are moving to Tokyo soon. Our waiter was very accommodating and brought us a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were all impeccable. This is our third visit now to Seasons 52 and our favorite "go-to" restaurant, for either a casual, relaxed evening out or for a special celebration. I love the seasonal menu, and healthy options. The happy hour specials are awesome! We will definitely be returning.
The last time I came here in December 2017, the food was spot on and the service was amazing. I was really looking forward to coming back here again; however, I was quickly disappointed and the disappointment continued throughout my whole dinner. First, the happy hour scallops shows 3 pieces on the picture, but you receive two. False advertisement. Second, everything I ordered was overcooked. My New-York strip was charred to the point of bitterness and my brussel sprouts were soft as baby food. I didn't finish my food but I was full because I lost my appetite. This was the total opposite experience of my previous visit to Seasons52 when everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Would not recommend this restaurant because you never know what you're going to get. Quality control is everything!
I had scallops and they were grilled to perfection! Everyone in our party really enjoyed their food. The dessert tower is so fun and to die for. So many tempting selections!
My 92 year old Dad was with us and in a wheelchair. Although this isn’t usually the kind of place you see too many Seniors, they have him the royal treatment and made sure he felt welcome happily accommodating his wheelchair.
Stopped by for happy hour and love the $5 wines and $5 flatbread. They also have some wonderful appetizer options for $5. Try the Santa Rita Red Blend. We stayed at the vineyard outside of Santiago last year and the wines are amazing. Wish they had the Camenere on Happy Hour!
The hostess was not on top of it. After she said I was checked in, I had to approach her
a second time to remind her that we had a reservation and was still waiting.
The waiter was slow and didn't even see that we had already had our payment ready to go
to process. Busy night, but still excellent dining experience as always.
Seasons 52 has been our go-to for special occasions for years. We even celebrated our wedding day here. The last year or so the quality and service seems to have gone down significantly. We have tried giving it multiple chances in hopes that it was an night but have continuously left disappointed.
I don’t foresee us coming back.
Of our party of 6, my sea bass came out cold. Everyone else's meals were acceptably warm. It took over 45 minutes for our food to come out once we ordered. Our waitress rarely came to our table in the 2 hours we were there. Our cocktails were empty for some time. We had to flag someone down to send another drink order to the bar on more than one occasion. Understandably, being New Years Eve it would be busy, but the lack of attention we got from our waitress was ridiculous.
Dinner was pleasant; however, had to send back the appetizer. Very over cooked. Steak entree was undercooked. Noise level was louder than usual due to a large family with small children. The staff eventually closed the partition. I have had much better experiences there.
Seasons 52 is our go to because my Husband and I really like the ambiance and consistency of the food. We also receive great service every time as well. We really like the wine list, flatbreads, and planked salmon, but we do miss the piano in the bar. It would be nice if you could bring it back on the weekends. Thank you.
Lovely spot! The Brussels sprouts are the best I've ever tasted. The restaurant is beautiful in a fun part of Plano/Frisco. The menu changes every week and I have never been disappointed. The desserts at the completion of dinner are amazing. Something for everyone. Warm and friendly.
The restaurant felt a bit tired. The food was very average and one entree (tuna) was returned because it didn’t taste right. The waiter kindly removed it from the bill. Appetizers were very bland and the mushroom dish was burnt. They brought a second mushroom dish without us asking. The lobster flat bread was also tasteless and cold. None of the desserts in a glass impressed either. Overall, a bad night and we were celebrating a big birthday. Bad choice
