Seasons 52 - Plano Ratings and Reviews
Took my mother-in-law here for her birthday. She really enjoyed the Seasons52 in Houston so she wanted to try the one at home in Plano. Our server was attentive and charming. I wasn't sure how fitting the restaurant would be for my two baby/toddler nephews, but they had a high chair and the kids didn't act out so it was fine. They also had a kids menu, which was nice. The atmosphere is definitely more adult centered. The food was delicious and not over seasoned. I liked that I could taste what I was eating and not just be overwhelmed by seasoning.
The whole staff was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend Seasons52 for gatherings with friends and family.
I was very disappointed in this restaurant. This was a dinner for my husband's birthday and this special occasion was ruined by the fact that we were not seated until an HOUR (1 hour!!!) after our reservation time. We will not be coming back, nor will the 12 other people that were in our party.
Seasonally updated menus, Seasons 52 offers a varied menu. Flatbreads are incredible along with several salad options. Main courses are proportionately sized. Desert shooters are incredible as well. Calorie counts on the menu help drive decisions for the health conscious, but everything tastes incredible. Nice ambience only enhances the experiences.
Always love our experience at Seasons 52! This time they even out did themselves by giving us a gift card because of a past experience of no electricity the last time we tried to eat there! And they also comped the dessert. We always love the food and wait staff at this restaurant. Jason was our waiter and we will ask for him again!
We were first offered a booth next to the bar...which was 5 deep in people. No way we could sit there and hear one another. We moved. Service was good, but food was average at best. My wife's shrimp scampi was like a big blob of food in a bowl. My pear salad was all spinach, and my MR steak was undercooked. Our friends said the chili was OK. Disappointing!!
I hadn't been to Seasons 52 in a while and was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful our meal was. The food was some of the best seafood we have had in a long time (unfortunately they were sold out of the Nantucket scallops but the sea scallops fit in quite well and my wife's sea bass was the best she had ever had). The service was excellent. The only thing I would have changed was their beer menu. Very pedestrian with little choice for craft/IPA beers. We will definitely be back.
This was out third Thanksgiving at Seasons 52, and my least favorite. I guess they overbooked because they were way behind schedule and we had to wait quite some time. In previous years I was really impressed with the valets' assistance with my Mom's wheelchair; this year the valet did not see us putting my Mom (unassisted) in the chair and came very close to running over us. I would have given the food five stars but Seasons 52 has stopped serving Heineken.
Seasons 52 is a great dining destination but no so much on Thanksgiving Day. Because of the sold out crowd, the service had no choice but to take a hit on the normal highest quality. The thanksgiving meal was forgettable. The turkey was tasty but I am not a fan of bread dressing. This is Texas - how about some cornbread dressing! The Butternut squash was superb!
Another great experience at Season’s 52 ! Tremendous value for better dining experience than much more expensive options close by. Season’s 52 never disappoints. Their Perfectly cooked (over mesquite wood) to temp filet by far the best in the dfw area for 1/2 price of the supposed steak restaurants. Perfectly seasoned perfectly cooked coupled with the service you’d expect too good to pass up.
This was my first time to try Seasons52. I made reservations and they were running a little behind schedule. Our group was able to find seating at the bar and the service was prompt. They seated us at a very nice corner booth that accommodated our party of 6. Our server was attentive and was helpful in describing the specials. My friend ordered the flatbread appetizer with goat cheese and artichokes and she did not like it at all. She did enjoy her dinner plate through. We both ended up getting the Sea Scallops and they were very tasty. My husband ordered the Steak special and it was a great value that included an appetizer and dessert. I think everyone enjoyed the dining experience and we will go back again.
The food was was very good. Vegetarian entree I had was better than my wife’s lobster flatbread. I would definitely come back for it. The drinks were well crafted and delicious. Our server was exceptional. Really knew the menu and made great meal and drink recommendations. It was our anniversary and he made it feel special. Great evening overall.
