Seasons 52 - Plano Ratings and Reviews
Valentine’s Day Dinner.....Season’s 52 has become our favorite dinner restaurant. Consistently good food, front patio is quite and offers outdoor view, friendly & attentive staff.....never disappointed since they first opened! But, do miss the piano in the Bar!
We recently dined during the noon hour for a double-special occasion - two of our party of four celebrated their birthday on the day we visited. The service was truly outstanding, and we were visited by several of the wait staff, who attended to all the small details perfectly. Our waiter brought complimentary champagne flutes to start. A nice touch!
The trout and the pork tenderloin entrees were both exceptional, the Tuna was very good - perhaps just a bit overdone on the outside, but with a perfectly rare interior. We finished with selections from the desert tray and coffee, most favoring the deconstructed cannoli, which was very good.
Everything about the dinner went great. It was the service we received from the bartender “Able” while waiting on our seats. He was snippy and rude then double charged us for our beverages. I will no longer go to seasons 52 because of the bartender Able as his attitude and service was unacceptable.
I had my fiancé 30th surprise birthday dinner there with our friends and we had the WORSE service I have ever got in my life!!!!!! Our waiter was gone the whole night, we didn’t even get the drinks we order. We were there for three hours majority waiting on him!!!!
From start to finish, my wife’s birthday dinner could not have been more perfect. With a reservation we were quickly greeted and seated at a cozy booth. Menu and specials were explained by the excellent wait person and we were surprised with a complimentary glass of champagne. The food was outstanding, the wine appropriately selected and tasted. Our dinner and evening was great..as always at Seasons 52.
I always love eating at Seasons 52. The food is consistently excellent and the service is always just right. This visit I have to tell what happened, and the above-and-beyond-outstanding service from Seasons 52... My elderly father has moderate cognitive impairment and my mother has mid-stage dementia. I helped my mother order but my father had to butt in to correct me by saying my mother wanted shrimp cocktail instead of the lobster bisque she said she wanted. Well, shrimp cocktail was not on the menu. The poor waiter tried to explain this patiently to my father but he started to loudly make a scene, so my husband and I had to intervene to quiet him down (not at all the waiter's fault, my father seems to be making a habit of creating a scene at upscale restaurants). Later, when the appetizers were being served, a woman (who may have been the manager? regrettably I did not get her name) came over with an elegant serving of jumbo shrimp cocktail that was delicious! She said she had someone run next door to fetch it from Capital Grille. Wow. Between our waiter and this person, plus the kitchen who prepares delicious food, they did everything to ensure that my mother's birthday dinner was enjoyable for all. Thank you Seasons 52!
Live in West Palm Beach, FL and am familiar with Seasons 52 in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton. I was in Plano with friends and opted for Seasons 52 over Capital Grille and Blue Martini - both also familiar. Seasons 52 in Plano was excellent and certainly easily on par with the ones I am familiar with at home - I like consistency and that's what I got. Great job from wait staff to the kitchen!
Exceptional service everytime. Our waitress was fabulous. I couldn't decide between two wines and she brought me a taste of both. Enjoyed fabulous Flatbread, salad and of course the peanut butter chocolate dessert. The perfect size with just 3 bites. I don't feel guilty eating dessert at Seasons52.
