Seasons 52 - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
We're familiar with the Season's 52 brand, having visited other stores, so we chose this S52 as the venue for a work related dinner party. From start to finish, the experience was a hit for everyone. First, they honored our request for a quiet table and placed us at a quiet, corner "chef's table" with a view of the water. Service was exceptional, especially since we were a party of 8. Given 8 distinct palates, it is noteworthy that everyone was very happy with their entrees. Dishes ranged from the meatloaf, which got rave review, the tenderloin with a substitution of cheesy grits for potatoes (you've got to try the grits!!), to perfectly seared scallops! We enjoyed the mushroom and goat cheese flatbreads as shared apps. I recommended the "New Old Fashioned" - and received thanks as those who partook loved it. Also, this S52 is the flagship store, and it is a beautiful space that easily accommodates any occasion - from a family gathering to a romantic, date night.
I am a frequent diner at this Seasons 52. I always find it very pleasant and comfortable, attentive and tasty. If only they would improve their Vegetarian Tasting. It used to be great, now it is very disappointing. Change that one item back to what it was, and I’ll be happy. I do appreciate their bringing the Carrot Cake Mini Indulgence back.
The majority of our entrees were OK with the exception to the Filet Mingon, which was excellent. Nothing was bad, but also nothing was outstanding. The service was also fine, but not outstanding as well. We did get seated in a nice quiet space in the restaurant which was nice.
Very good as always. Teddy was our server and he was excellent. Very enjoyable evening. The only downside of the evening, not really the fault of the restaurant I suppose was a large birthday part of very young children, approximately 3 years old, all wearing party hats and balloons and the kids were running around. Made for a very uncomfortable adult night out.
I was so happy I booked the reservation because it was packed when we got there. The food and service was wonderful. I had the salmon. It was delicious and the vegetables were even better (spaghetti squash, golden beets, carrots and small potatoes). The group loved everything as well. Scallops, meatloaf and pork tenderloin.
My favorite restaurant - I wasn't wowed by the "Braised Australian Lamb Shank". I was expecting more flavor. My green beans were too raw - could have been steamed/cooked a little longer.
Everyone else enjoyed their meal "Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops", Lump Crab, Roasted Shrimp & Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms " , and "Lobster Bisque".
I wasn't sure what to expect as I had not heard of Seasons 52 before. I was pleasantly surprised. We were seated opposite the kitchen and enjoyed watching the chiefs work and prepare the food through the glass by our booth. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided excellent service. His recommendations for dinner we welcomed and the food was delicious.
Excellent food, excellent service. I frequently use Seasons 52 at the Sand Lake location for business lunch purposes. I will never use it again due to the rude treatment (in front of my clients!) of the front desk seating hostess/manager. We arrived at 11:25. When I inquired if we could be seated as this was a business lunch, she snapped that the restaurant does not seat until 11:30. Meanwhile, all the 11:30 reservation guests were made to line up and wait like planes on a runway until madam hostess decided the time was right to permit seating which turned out to be 11:40 after she grudgingly extricated herself from the phone. My company won't be booking large gatherings (2x a year) any longer either. Too many other choices on Sand Lake for this type of rude, inflexible behavior.
We booked this restaurant based on online reviews while on vacation with friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the design (contemporary Frank Lloyd Wright). Service was prompt and our appetizers and meals were very good.
My only complaints were that we were a group of seven (adults and children) and they seated us in a booth for six, and the noise level was higher than I would have liked. Other than that a great choice for dinner, and fairly reasonable.
Food was good; service was marginal. The dessert options were a little strange, our waiter just dumped the 8 options on the table and did not give us an option to choose other choices. For example, two of us wanted the same option and the waiter looked as if it was an inconvenience to go back to kitchen and get us another one. He also took 20 minutes to get our first drink order. During the meal he “disappeared “ for about 15 minutes.
This is my favorite restaurant so it's really a go to for me. This was a really special occasion, as my team of many years was disbanding and we are scattering to the four winds. Although the hostess was terrible, the service was awesome. Andy, our waiter was very busy but he did a great job of keeping us in his line of sight. The restaurant itself did a champagne toast and dessert for us to commemorate our very special occasion. Overall, an excellent experience, although I do wish this location could hire some hostesses that acted like they cared even a little bit about their clients.
