Seasons 52 - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
While I am a huge fan of this restaurant I was very disappointed in the service the day we arrived for lunch with a party of 10. We were consistently searching for our waiter. Arrived via limo and ordered bottles of wine, Champagne etc so it would have worth it for the waiter to up his service and attention ☹️
Ordered the half chicken and it came out over cooked and dry. Surprisingly the root vegetables were roasted on the outside but overly firm and not cooked through. Ordered a favorite bottle of wine even though it was literally 4X the retail price, this is egregious in my opinion. Our waitress had a sense of urgency and rushed our entire meal which made for less than the ideal experience. Have been to S52 many times in Altamonte Springs and never have been this dissatisfied. Maybe it was just an off night for the staff and kitchen. Will be willing to give them another shot in the future.
Awesome preparation of proteins.. Alway done perfectly and excellent taste. The vegetables on the other hand were over down (Brussels Sprouts).. We did send them back but they came out the second time way over cooked and dry.. The mashed potatoes were not creamy or tasty.. Again the meats have always been great as are their sauces, soups and flatbreads. Service was excellent...
Consistently a great dining experience. We go only on special celebrations because it's a bit of a drive. Wish Darden would open a location on the east side of Orlando. I can't imagine that they wouldn't flourish. We have no fine dining on this side of town.
Food very good but a bit pricey, the annoying thing for me is the recommending tip your supposed to give.if you go to a restaurant that charges $100 for 4 guests and you tip 10per cent =$10 why does a seasons 52 waiter deserve $20 for serving the same 4 guests. Instead of percentages it should be $5-10 or 15dollars we are uk residents where we don't tip at all.
Never had a bad experience at any Seasons 52 anywhere in the country until this time. Bragged to our friends (first time at Seasons 52) and we were very disappointed. Mac and cheese was cold and though our friend’s chicken was returned because it was cold, the second plate wasn’t much better. Free desserts didn’t make up for poor food and poor service.
Appetizer and dessert were good, however, I ordered filet for the entree and it was terrible. They over cooked the steak and the veggies were way underdone and the sauce and potatoes were terrible. It tasted like there was no seasoning. I used to love coming here but I don’t think I’ll be back. I will say they were nice enough to comp the steak but I’m just disappointed with the whole experience. It also took forever to get the meal.
On this occasion we enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving diner. he wine choices were exceptional, we shared a delicious appetized of shrimp & crab stuffed mushrooms, have the Thanksgiving special turkey meal and finished up with a mini indulgence.
Nav was an excellent server. We enjoyed our holiday meal.
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner! We had a reservation and were seated within 5-10 minutes of checking in. The staff was friendly and the food was incredible! WhIle we opted for the traditional dinner of turkey with all the fixings, we could have ordered from theor regular menu, which was great for those who didn't want turkey. I highly recommend spending Thanksgiving there!
I DINE AT SEASONS 52 IN JACKSONVILLE OFTEN AND AM ALWAYS PLEASED. WHEN I PLANNED THANKSGIVING DINER IN ORLANDO WITH FAMILY I CHOSE SEASONS 52 FOR THAT REASON. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL AND THE RESTAURANT VERY ATTRACTIVE. HOWEVER, THE SPECIAL THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY MEAL WAS PATHETIC. THE PLATE HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN PREPARED IN ADVANCE AND KEPT WARM. THE RESULT WAS DRIED OUT DRESSING, DRIED OUT GRAVY, AND HOT CRANBERRY SAUCE. MY WAITER DID SAVE THE MEAL BY PROVIDING EXTRA GRAVY AT MY REQUEST. I HONESTLY BELIEVE I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER AT CRAKER BARREL.
We had Thanksgiving at Seasons 52. We chose to order from the menu rather than have the Thanksgiving meal - although it did look yummy! The Roma flatbread was a great way to begin. I had the butternut squash soup which was sweet with spicy finish. Wonderful filet and short rib and the pear salad with burrata hit all the right notes. The dessert shooters were the perfect ending to a delightful meal!
