Loud but always a good time
Food Was excellent, staff friendly & helpful, a great experience!
Always seamless dining at Seasons 52 - Schaumburg! I never hesitate to take business clients here because the service is impeccable and the food is always top-notch. I love their salads, flatbreads and handhelds, it's difficult to choose because I know everything will be delicious!
We went to Seasons 52 for my birthday with my husband and daughter. Food was delicious. I loved the asparagus soup . Last time we found the indulgences were some what dried out but wanted to try it again and were really glad we did. They didn’t disappoint.
Great service, food and drink. The staff was terrific.
from the reception people to our Server Sean we were treated as valued clients. My date couldn't decide on two soups that she was interested in so Sean was excellent and even brought out two small samples of the soups to help her with the decision. Great Service, great food, awesome desserts !!
Wonderful dining experience! Great service! Great food!
My son and I went to Season’s 52 for my birthday dinner. I was greeted with birthday wishes and a card when seated - which was very nice. We were seated in the bar area, which was fine but I was surprised we weren’t in the dining room. Our service was a bit odd, which is why we gave 4 and not 5 stars. Typically service is top notch but this sever was less professional than normal. For example, when presented with the deserts we were told it was free because it was my birthday - which seemed abrupt. In the past when celebrating birthdays there, I’ve been given a photo of our table and a candle - none of that tonight. She seemed very spacey and her timing was just off and it definitely put a slight damper on the night.
This was a return visit to Seasons 52 and it was a disappointing one. Perhaps they were surprised by a shortage of staff but the restaurant was not full. After waiting 20 minutes I asked a passing waiter to ask our waitperson to stop by. After several additional wait periods, we realized our waiter was also the sole bartender. He was pleasant and was doing all he could but the situation seemed impossible. I am thankful we were celebrating graduations with two delightful people who were able to bring good humor along with their appetites. We will try visiting again but not on a day when I am working to provide a nice experience for guests.
Delicious food, excellent service and great desserts!!
Seasons 52 was Awesome as usual and we had a fantastic server, she was simply amazing !
Everybody was pleased with what they ordered. The special occasion was a birthday. The service was excellent. We were there on a Saturday evening. Had a hard time hearing each other at our table towards the end of the dinner. It was getting more crowded at that time.
High School graduation. Fantastic service and food. Great experience.
Sorry to say this place was not at all on their game. Very slow service.
We had a great server, he was knowledgeable and friendly.
Food was fantastic and Wine was awesome!
Great and accommodating for our group
We are staying in Oakbrook for the weekend and found Season 52 based on Open Table reviews. Since the reviews were good we were expecting a good experience. It was even better than we’d hoped for. The staff were great; friendly, welcoming and professional. The space was very comfortable, warm and not very noisy which was surprising since the place was packed. Of course, the food was the star. Everything we ate was delicious The Duck Lollipops were delicious, that good kind of spicy that makes you want to keep eating more. The beet and goat cheese salad was served warm. The more beets slightly melted the goat cheese and the crunch of the toasted pistachios and balsamic drizzle finished the dish perfectly. The Asian Glazed Sea Bass was also delicious and the small Sweet Indulgence desserts were just the right size for a great finish to a wonderful dinner. We will definitely go back this weekend.
What happened to this place? I’m seated at a dirty booth - one of only 5 patrons in the entire establishment - salad is set on table without presentation cylinder removed (tuna crunch salad), pellegrino comes in a plastic bottle, no one bothered to ask if I would like a refill on water - had to place empty wine glass on edge of table to grab attention that I’d like another glass - despite my comment to the waiter that I’m not in any hurry with my lunch, my waiter made it very obvious that he was in a hurry for me to order mine (I felt very rushed). This place used to be a decent place to dine but clearly has gone by the wayside. Very disappointing and will NOT be returning.
Had a great birthday dinner with my wife. Chilean Sea Bass was awesome.
Had a girls' lunch here the other day and we loved it. This was actually my second lunch there in two weeks; I enjoyed it so much the first time, I recommended it for a different group. All were very pleased with their meal. Our server Lena was just right, attentive but perceptive enough to give us our space. It allowed for a really pleasant meal. Asparagus soup and the beet salad were to die for. And can't beat the dessert choices. All in all I can't wait to go back with my husband.
We made a reservation for 745 we got the at 715. They informed us they were running 45 mins behind our reservation. That was the only bad part. We found plenty of room Barside ordered a steak with potato and a salmon salad. They comped a second mashed potato because the first side was sized a bit more for a child than and average adult.
Went for a late Mother’s Day dinner after coming in from out of town. Had a 7:45 reservation and was informed it would be a 35-40 min wait. There is always a wait st this restaurant they never honor reservations so I’m not sure why they bother taking them.
Made to wait for 45 Minutes despite having reservation, badly managed.
Had reservation at 7.30 PM and seated at 8.20 PM (Arrived Early at 7 PM).
We had a reservation and had to wait 40 minutes before we were seated. The floors had trash all over it and I was served something I was allergic to after informing them I of the allergy..
We went specifically for Mother's Day, which makes all the difference for this review. We made reservations in advance, knowing this holiday is popular for taking Mom out to dinner. We still had to wait nearly an hour to be seated, regardless of the reservation. People were waiting everywhere, making for an extremely crowded space. For a 6:30 reservation, we got a table at nearly 7:30, thus finishing our meal at nearly 9pm, for a mom who would have liked to be in bed by then. So, administration dropped the ball and planned poorly. However, I want to assert the many positives of our visit as well. Our server was excellent, knowledgeable about the menu, and with a fantastic personality. The kitchen kept up with the business flawlessly, as each part of our meal arrived swiftly and tasted amazing. The menu is wonderful, and the decor and ambiance lovely. This would have been a perfect meal if not for the excruciating wait.
For it being Mothers Day I was very impressed by how great it was thanks for making it a great night.
Unfortunately the good food did not override the terrible service. I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant, but it seems like they are constantly overbooked and the last few times we have been there they have been at least 30 minutes behind on reservation times, and the hostesses have been completely unapologetic. The restaurant was sweltering on our last visit, if there was a problem with the air conditioner, that's understandable, but then at least make an effort to come around and refill the water glasses, we sat without water for over an hour. Our party had a dietary question on the menu and it took the waitress 20 minutes to come back with an answer. Between the long wait for a table and the time it took to get our drinks and food, were there for over 2 1/2 hours and we skipped dessert because we didn't want to be there any longer. Our food was tasty, but the overall experience was not one anyone in our party was interested in repeating.
I would definitely "not' recommend this restaurant, particularly for Mother's Day.
Why make a reservation?? This is the second time in a row where I was not seated until much later than my reservation time. This time it was 50 minutes late. Last time was 30 minutes late. They are obviously overbooking at my expense. I won't be back.
It was rather crowded due to Mother’s Day, so it was noisier than usual. Service and food were, as usual, excellent.
The wait was an hour even with a reservation overall the experience was good.
What a shame our family of 4 had to wait one hour past our confirmed 3:00 reservation time to be seated. On Open Table, Seasons 52 was still accepting reservations for 3:30 while we weren't seated until 4:00. No restaurant, even on Mother's Day, should book so many guests without consideration for time. The crowded chaos of unhappy families waiting for tables created an unpleasant atmosphere that permeated the reception area and ruined what could have been a lovely afternoon. Hopefully, management will learn from their mistakes.
We made a 230 reservation for Mother’s Day. Got to the restaurant to find people packed inside and all outside as well, they were running an hour behind. When we finally were seated at 3:25, we were stuck in the bar area which was very loud. I will say that the food was decent, although it took quite a while to get our order… I do understand they were busy… The waitress gave us good service but she Was so strange… Almost like she was on something. Anyway, no I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the fact that they completely overbooked everybody that day, and the fact that the food was good but nothing special.
We had a 2pm reservation. Did not get seated until after 3, which would have been ok if I was not with my elderly mother who is not very mobile and has vision problems. There was no sorry, no apologies. Not even a complimentary dessert. Ordered appetizers, that took 30 minutes. My son ordered the new york strip medium rare. It was raw.
Cleary, the restaurant was unable to handle a Mother's Day celebration. We will not go back.
Went here for mothers day with a reservation from open table. Did not get seated until 1 hour and 35 min past the reservation! Mothers day was ruined because there was no back up plan. Restaurants don’t take reservations late on a day like mothers day. The lobby and outside area were filled with frustrated customers all in the same position. Older people were standing for hours waiting and it broke my heart that on a day where we should be celebrating family, this is how a restaurant handled their customers. They over booked and had zero apologies for it! The hostesses lied several times about wait times. 15 min became 45 min and if it weren’t for constant complaining we would have never been seated 2 hours past our time. We had a reservation at 1:15 and ate at 330. I will never go here again! Steer clear from the lack of customer focus and the lack of empathy from this place.
1 hour wait after reservation time.
Reservations were running 40 minutes behind and service was slow but it was also Mother’s Day.
We like this place and frequent it but it was WAY off for Mother's Day. It was substantially over-seated, service was slow and mistakes were made. It was a bad day for a typically good restaurant. Our server comped us for a few items which was a nice acknowledgement of the lapses--but it was not a good showing.
