The food was excellent. Everyone in our group ordered something different and loved their meal half chicken, shrimp and grits, salmon and sea scallops . Our waiter Tony was very friendly and attentive, and brought us free parfait desserts. Had a Wonderful experience!! Would highly recommend it.
We were seated when we arrived which was nice because it was very busy. The food was excellent as usual.
We love Seasons 52. As always the food was delicious. Our server was very pleasant but we saw to many other servers bring food so when we needed something the communication didn’t always happen. It took asking for a breadstick for the artichoke and Meyer lemon hummus starter 4 times before it happened and the server even tried to take the hummus before I actually had the breadstick that I wanted to finish the hummus. My husband had the mushroom bisque and the braised short ribs. I had the grilled artichoke (DELICIOUS) and the Greek Salad w/ Grilled Shrimp. It was all delicious.
Our dinner at Seasons 52 in Oak Brook was outstanding. We love the upscale yet comfortable vibe in the bar area and always request a booth. Several of us enjoyed the salmon; it's hard to pass up, definitely one their signature dishes. They had an outstanding trout meal as well. The variety and presentation of the vegetables is always great. Our server, John, couldn't have been more helpful and attentive to our needs, knowing when to let us linger over our appetizers and when we were ready to put in our order. The service at this Seasons 52 is always superb! We can always count on having a wonderful evening here between the delicious food and the great service.
Our birthday 🎂 celebration was over the top. Our waiter was so attentive. We had a complimentary sip of champagne to start. It was so nice to have the extended Resturant week menu. The meal was wonderful and the deserts over the top
Nice Valentine Day event.
Had a long wait for our 8:00 reservation, but nice to have the extension on Restaurant week.
The steak was great, but the Ahi Tuna was just slightly below average. Over-cooked and no flavor.
Miss the lamb chops.
I would give it another try. Even having reservation we waited 40 min. Place was jammed at the entrance and you could barely move. Front staff was yelling out peoples names, other patrons were demanding the manager. Couldn’t they afford text notification when table ready.
Once seated Josh was amazing, attentive and provided an excellent experience. Gratefully as we were stressed from the wait and loud disorganized initial experience.
The last few times we’ve dined here we have a reservation but end up waiting 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. What’s the point of a reservation .
Everything about the evening was great but the wait for the table. The reservation was for 7:45, but we were not seated until 8:30.
Food was excellent. Ambiance was good. Waitress was great. However our reservations were at 7:30 and we didn't get seated until 8:00. We understand that we went at a busy time and that all reservations are subject to delay. However this kind of defeats the purpose of a reservation time.
Everything was wonderful. The steak was fabulous. Flavorful and tender. The server was excellent.
Had a reservation, however got seated 45 minutes later. The place was super crowded. I feel as though they over booked. Didn't consider people saying long after they paid for meals.
Wait was long even though we had a reservation, but it was restaurant week.
The server Josh and food made up for the wait.
This restaurant is outstanding. My open table reservation was for 4 people 6:30 on a Saturday night. When we arrived the restaurant was extremely crowded with a lot of people waiting for a table. In spite of this we were seated immediately. Our server Kenneth K was excellent. He provided good service and the food was really good. Our tables orders included a flatbread appetizer, and the dinners were the lasagna rolls, shrimp and grits, beef short ribs, and sea scallops. Everyone in the group loved their meal. Definitely will be back again!
Season's 52 is one of my favorite restaurants. No matter the dish, I've never had a bad meal here. From the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients, to the care used to prepare each dish, everything is a winner. It doesn't hurt that each dish doesn't exceed a certain calorie count, but doesn't lack flavor. Even the drinks are top-notch! Most places make weak, watered down drinks but at Season 52 they are exceptional. Highly recommended!
Was there on a Saturday night with three couples. The service was impeccable as always and there was a "fixed price" menu that evening which included three courses. We all tried it, each doing something a little different and from the appetizer to the mini desserts, it was all wonderful. Particularly love their very fresh take on cocktails. We'll be back!
Always a great experience. Food was delicious. Our server Katie was outstanding!
Great spot to celebrate anything... great food, staff and ambience!
Food was all good and priced well. Service was a bit slow, seemed quite busy.
Wide menu, food prepared excellently and great service. Booths around the large central bar are comfortable. If you don't want the bar area there's a very nice dining room too.
Our first visit, we will certainly be back. Prices are very reasonable and good value.
We had a wonderful dinner
Great meal and service. Very enjoyable time and the staff were fabulous!
Happy Hour on a Thursday; excellent menu choices, good wines, great service; overall a very good value. Flatbreads (garlic pesto chicken is our favorite) especially good.
Not the best meal I've had here. Usually love the place but this time, brussel Sprouts undercooked, pork tenderloin overcooked, not sure what the shrimp scampi appetizer was but nothing that reminded me of scampi. Martini was great.
One of my favorite places! Love the food, the drinks, and the service is always wonderful.
We happened to come during restaurant week. Nice choices. Delicious food. The best part was the small desserts! A wonderful birthday celebration for sure!
Being our first trip to Seasons 52 we found it highly disappointing and mysterious that there wasn't a valet on a rainy night to park our car. Better yet was that there were at least a dozen parking spots reserved for valet service. Once I finally parked my car and I entered the restaurant it was interesting to be met by 3 hostesses and a guy in a rain coat and knit stocking cap . Could this be the valet I was looking for? I'm not sure since he never left the hostess stand and did nothing but sweet talk the 3 young women there. I told the hostess we had arrived and I was told were early for our reservation (30 minutes) and we would have to wait until that time before they could seat us. Ok, I guess lesson number one is don't arrive until it is your time. The valet still sweet talking even when it appeared a manager came up there to see how things were going. After a little more sweet talk I realized one of these 3 women probably should have asked if we cared to check our coats. Once I got her attention we did. I never saw this guy park one car and I have yet to figure out why 3 young women need to be at the hostess stand. It was an interesting 30 minutes of observation to say the least.
So why a 4 star rating? The front of the house has issues but the wait service (Erik, I believe) and the quality of our dinner easily made up for the comedy happening up front. We had the Chicago restaurant week special and my steak was cooked to perfection. The salmon my wife had was exquisite and very tasty as well. The root vegetables were interesting and well prepared by roasting. The service was outstanding as Erik was at ready every completion of our plates and not pushing to move us along. I was highly pleased; and that took a lot of the sting away from the early goofiness of the hostess area.
I will return as the chef preparation of our food and wait staff attentiveness deserve the 4 Star rating. It was just a challenge getting past the initial comedy.
Food options, flavors, beverage options, bar, and table service were great.
Jessica was our server( I think that was her name). She was very nice, attentive and efficient. Food was great
We were able to eat from the restaurant week menu and substitute in one of the 4 categories from the main menu. There were several choices in each category, which we both liked. It was a cold Monday evening and so the restaurant wasn't crowded and we were able to have a long, leisurely dinner with plenty of time for conversation. I love the dessert choices!
This restaurant is absolutely incredible! The service is very fast and the food is devine.
Our server, George, was excellent!
We celebrated Restaurant Week by ordering from the special menu.
It was an excellent dinner.
We went for lunch with my sister-in-law and were treated very well. Our waitress was outstanding. The food was also outstanding. I has the salmon on a plank and the gals had scallops ( always a favorite when we eat there ). I would always recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a nice dining experience.
I had a reservation at 8:00 but we still waited over half an hour to get seated it was a busy night. Food was good, service was good and overall we had a good time. I would definitely do it again.
The waiter brought us our coffee never came back to refill it would disappear for long periods of time never felt like we were important or that he was there to help us make our dining experience pleasant
The food is excellent, perfectly portioned & thoughtfully presented. Gear variety of all menu owns including apps, salads, seafood, fish & meats. Good wine list. We got a nice card firm them for our anniversary☺
We went on Saturday night. Service was extremely slow....my food was cold when it was finally served.
We had a reservation but then waited 30 minutes. The food was not the best quality.
