Seasons 52 - Northpark Ratings and Reviews
Really enjoyed Seasons 52. Their Harvest Dinner was an excellent deal - an appetizer, entree and mini dessert for $29, plus $6 wines to pair with it. However, when asked to describe the differences between 2 wines on the menu, the server just said "No I can't. Hardly anybody orders them." I would have expected him to say "I am not familiar with those, but will ask someone else and get back to you." Other than that, excellent experience!
As always, our visit to Seasons 52 in Dallas for dinner was wonderful. They had their Fall menu and it was full of delicious looking things to order. The fantastic part of this restaurant chain is that it is always consistently good in both food and service. Our server was helpful but not intrusive and each item we ordered was done just right.
Only one suggestion would be that the bar tends to skimp on the alcohol ingredients of the cocktails. I ordered a cosmo but it tasted rather weak and watery. This is been the case since we started going to Seasons 52. I wish they would change this.
I have Celiac disease and in the past have found Seasons 52 to be a safe bet. The last three visits, have not been good for me. I always identify and roger from the gluten free menu. Yesterday, was no exception. The salad and soup I ordered appear on both the gf and regular menu. Within 30 minutes and until midnight last night, I was ill. The previous two times I dined at S52, the waiter tried to serve me a soy sauce based salad dressing-not what I ordered.
We were celebrating a Birthday. We were greeted with a 'Tasting Toast' of Champagne. That was very nice. They also brought around a Chef's nibblet of Ahi Tuna in a porcelain spoon. Our meal selections were all enjoyed by each of the four of us. We shared some bites with one another so we know how good each of the Entrees was. Of special note: Peggy, who was our Server was EXCELLENT. Also, Areiana, who welcomed us was delightful. We will all definitely return to Seasons 52!
I can’t say enough in praise of our experience at Seasons 52! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday with eight of our friends. The catch? I wanted it to be a surprise party. From the first contact with the staff, everyone worked to make it happen. Our guests were made to feel very welcome while they waited for our arrival fifteen minutes later. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us by name with “party of two?” My husband was completely surprised when we arrived at our table with our friends waiting to say “surprise!” The evening only got better from there. Special kudos to our lead server Keenan, who was attentive, professional, beyond courteous and obviously well-versed in handling a large party of very excited people! Our wine, cocktails, dinner and desserts were perfectly presented and prepared. My husband will never forget the experience and we’ll definitely be back soon.
Our server, April was knowledgeable and very nice and friendly. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was the best she could make it. We had a great time and we were very pleased with our service. The food was good. I would say a 3.5 out of 5 on their Autumn Menu. The Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were a hit! The steak was good but not the best, however their pomegranate martini and choices of wine/alcohol were great! When they ran out of Hennessy, they offered us Remy for the price of Hennessy! We were very pleased!
It was an "off" night - they had a big private party - thus for our party of 7 - they got the cocktails mixed up - totally forgot our appetizers but did take them off our bill - took forever to get served - we were there a total of 3 1/2 hours - we were enjoying our company but it was very disappointing. We have never had that happen before - thus I say an "off night" for them -
This is one of the few restaurants in all of Dallas/Ft Worth where you can count on an interesting well prepared menu, presented well, with great service and is quiet enough to have a conversation at the table among friends and enjoy the whole experience- time after time. Cudos to the management and staff for a job well done. We will be back.
A nice (and healthy) alternative. The Flatbreads are quite good. Grilled Salmon & Asian Sea Bass (glaze on the side) were both quite good. Wood-grilled trout has been very good n the past. And if you want just a couple of bites of a dessert, the mini dessert shots are perfect. We tried Thanksgiving a couple of years ago & feel it was a bit lack-luster because they try to keep the calories lower and that's hard to do for Thanksgiving.
Overall very good. And you can even have a conversation without screaming & straining to hear!
