Seasons 52 - North Bethesda Ratings and Reviews
Everything was pretty good, except the mangers/hosts were moving tables back and forth while we were dining. Apparently, they were preparing for a party the next day. This was something they absolutely should've done after hours, not while patrons were in the restaurant.
We were seated 25 - 30 minutes after our reservation time. Then we were put in the back corner of a private room with a private party. Once the party left, another very loud party came in. Our waiter was just ok.
It was, unfortunately, a really bad experience.
Our server was excellent, but new nothing about wine. A bottle of red was brought out to our table that felt like it was sitting next to a heater. Red wine is to be chilled to 55 degrees. We did put it into an ice bucket to chill it, but I wonder how they are storing their wine?? The bar tender should never have sent the bottle out nor should the server have used it. She should have taken it back to the bar. My food was ok, I had the short ribs that were tasty but very dry. I did not let my server know this. My husbands scallops were delicious. I also enjoyed my pear and Burata salad.
The North Bethesda Seasons 52 is a good upscale chain restaurant. The food is interesting and quite well prepared. The environment is welcoming and comfortable. Staff are friendly and attentive. You may not be wowed, but you will be taken good care of. More than suitable for any but the most special occasions.
This was a New Year’s eve dinner. Our reservation was for 7:45 PM. We got to the restaurant at 7:30 PM, valet parking was full But there was no sign so. Our table was in small room off of the entrance to the restaurant. Room was very cold but when we complained they closed the door to this room and the temperature improved. Service was slow but the food was served hot.
Food is consistently good to great. Appetizers are particularly interesting and well prepared. We normally have great service. but this was new years eve and at least our waitress was over whelmed and while nice, missed the mark. But well worth the coin at other times.
We hadn’t been to a Seasons 52 before and were quite happy with everything about the restaurant. When we were being seated we asked to move a couple times to find a quiet place and the waitress was very accommodating. We also explained that one of the friends we were meeting had a significant hearing loss and requested that they turn down the music, which they did. This is the first place we have ever been that kept the music low for the entire time we were there. Usually restaurant personnel inch it up every 10 minutes to the reguar loud level. That alone rates a 5 star for me. But the food was quite good. We all had flat breads and salads or soups and everyone enjoyed them.
Seasons 52 is the spot. I have dined there on several occasions for different reasons and the food is fresh, the service and preparation of the food is consistent, great drinks and lively ambiance.
The service is the best! I don't live close but it's certainly worth the drive for me to dine there at least twice a month.
Seasons52 is consistently great. Healthy and delicious dining options, coupled with reasonable pricing make this a good go to when I am making plans. Added bonus - desserts in portions that don't make you feel like you have to skip eating your next 10 meals. I really love this place.
