I like the ambiance here and the seasonality of the food. They offer a nice wine list and serve wine in very nice glasses.
Consistently great food and service!
Melissa was the whole experience! The food was amazing! Visited for a friend's birthday and they treated us with complimentary desserts, a champagne toast and a card for her. Simply amazing!
Excellent service and food. I only reduced the rating for being over air conditioned and noisy at the door.
I have dined at this restaurant many times and will continue to do so!
As usual Seasons 52 was great.
Good service and delicious food, as usual.
Outstanding service one again and really great food. I highly recommend Seasons 52
We have been going to Seasons 52 for years, but this time we had several issues. The wood grilled tuna was undercooked, we were charged for an entree that they had run out of, and the cooked carrots were hard.
First time for me; food overall well prepared but waiting time frankly unacceptable although was due to a popular family holiday. Our stay ended up being over two hours which resulted in us paying $5 extra just for parking, and they would not validate ticket (though I saw it being validated to someone else!). Unfair! Sometimes it costs nothing doing business smartly.
We had another great experience for Mothers day celebration!
The service took very long. The air conditioning was way to high and we were freezing. The food was so so. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Great food for a Mother’s Day celebration
Had a great Mother’s Day brunch, service was very friendly and desert was fantastic!
The food was excellent! The service was good, but the food took a while to come out. It was mother’s day so I understood it was very busy.
Fast service even on Mother’s Day , got us in and out.
Mother’s Day brunch — granted, a tough day for restaurants, servers (and many customers) — was a pretty flat experience here, and such a shame, because the littlest extra touch of warmth in the service would have made it a nice occasion. If felt to us that the servers had been warned by the chef not to slow things down by accommodating any special requests at all — and I’m talking about being told “no” on scrambling vs. poaching an egg, not an outlandish substitution of some kind. This inflexibility was deflating, and menu selection felt more like a process of elimination than eager choosing. Next, our server never circled back once the food was delivered to check if it was ok — and it honestly was aggressively average. Eventually my husband stood up to hunt down coffee refills for the table, and the distracted server came back with one cup of coffee in her hand — for him — dropped it off and walked away without pausing to notice the other waiting diners. Sigh. It was that kind of an experience - just a miss. Friendly service would have honestly made up for the food deficits.
Busy Mothers Day morning. The French toast was more like bread pudding, the brunch menu was limited for a teen age appetite will not come for brunch again.
I discovered Seasons 52 in Orlando, FL, almost a decade ago. Was very happy to see two locations in the DC area. I have been to the Bethesda location about 4 times. It is always my go-to spot when attending a show at the Strathmore Music Center. I was very sorry to see two things taken away that made the restaurant extraordinary: the daily live music and the special etching on the wine glasses, that was done upon request. Both things were complimentary, in addition to the already great dining experience. Nevertheless, the food is very good, fresh and innovative-- coupled with good service and a nice atmosphere, so I still look forward to going there. The menu changes seasonally. I am never order the same dishes. I dined there last night before a performance and was in and out within an hour, with our server giving great detail to my pre-theater schedule. Another great experience!
Service was delightful and waiter highly attentive and friendly. Food was above-average and attractively served, however, overall it wasn't particularly flavorful or unusual. Chicken was undercooked and sent back. Steaks were good quality but overpriced, smaller, and not as tender as at Firebird in Gaithersburg. The slaw on top of the seared tuna was fresh but like the mound of wild rice, on which it was placed, quite bland. I was disappointed considering the rave reviews. The accompanying sauces to several dishes of those in my party were certainly good but nothing memorable.
My family and I eat out all the time food was okay, I have had way better food and service was average.
Good food and terrific service.
Definitely felt way more corporate and chain-y than we were expecting :(
Each time we return to Seasons 52 we are delighted anew. Our server was gracious and provided extra treats for us since one of us was celebrating a birthday. The food and the ambiance were especially divine. I can't wait til the next time we visit!
This was my second time dinning here and it was just as good as the first time if not better. The service was good I loved the atmosphere and my guest said she could eat there every day. I found this place to be kid friendly as well as a nice spot for a romantic date.
Normally I really enjoy the main courses. Our friends had the halibut that was over cooked. I had the scallops which were good but virtually one large bite of risotto spread underneath it. Another in our party had pork medallions. They were dry and over cooked. I think we wait awhile before coming back
Excellent birthday dinner
Booth was nice to able to visit with friends. Food was good and we enjoyed the options on the menu.
Food is great and service very nice not too much just enough. Would reccomend this venue for any occasion. Location a littel confusing and walking to the place after parking not ideal but worth the effort.
It was nice to go back there after quite some time - still very nice food and atmosphere!!
Had a good table in a quieter location with attentive service. Food was excellent
Excellent in every way. Food, service and ambiance. Wish there was one closer to home in Clarendon!
Great as a vegetarian friendly spot. Staff willing to ask kitchen for modifications. Melissa was very pleasant and helpful. We had delicious flatbread with tomatoes, basil and added mushrooms that was so crispy and flavorful. We loved the kungpao green beans and the scrumptious beet salad!
Continues to have variable food quality. Somedays impressive somedays quite disappointing. Both waiter and manager recognized I was unhappy and comped my entree.
This restaurant is awesome there’s no better way to describe it the service is impeccable the chef even comes to check to make sure that you were satisfied the staff is wonderful I’ve got to many of their locations in each and everyone is awesome
Really interesting dishes prepared with skill and delivered with flair. The roasted cauliflower is a must.
It was wonderful! They greeted us by name, prepared the food expertly, and treated us as valued visitors. Our visit was marked by “the little things.” No water spots in the glasses, perfect temperature for the steak, de-tailed shrimp in the shrimp and grits so that we didn’t have to use our fingers... I wouldn’t change anything about the experience.
Wonderful food and service.
Nice atmosphere. Gluten-free bread on request!
