Despite making reservations, we were seated in the Bar area which was noisy with diners and live music. Server was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu and efficient. Although the menu is a bit pricey for North Bethesda,I had the swordfish (small portion size perhaps similiar to a deck of cards) at $24 while my guest had the filet mignon at $26.The appetizer of small serving of spring rolls was $10.95. Without alcohol, total for dinner with tip was $99. Despite the cost, I love this restaurant and look forward to eating there again.

Food was good, atmosphere was vibrant, but they did not keep to their "open table" confirm time to seat 4 at 7:45pm. What good is an "open table" reservation if they don't honor your time? We were seated at 8:10pm for a 7:45pm confirmed reservation---when we fussed to rush to the restaurant from far away only to be told to take a seat!

In addition, there was too much time in between being attended to---we had to wait a while to get water, we had to even wait long to have our bill and credit card collected---but in fairness, the waitress was very nice to us even including a hand-written birthday card for my wife---nice touch.

I would recommend---but a patron's time must be considered valuable and confirmed reservations should be hono

Well, there isn't much to say about the food here. The gimmick is that no dishes are over 475 calories, but they taste like it. The dishes that we tried were "one note" & relied too much on salt rather than flavors (shrimp dish w/ risotto, scallop dish w/ pearl pasta, salads). The bar was quite nice (excellent bartenders) but overly loud with a girl singing & playing a piano in the middle. Good at first, but wore thin after ~30 mins of the same stuff. There is no happy hour. Another gimmick (which we liked quite a bit) is that they have tiny desserts for only a couple bucks--w/ lower calories due to the small size. Nice idea! We tried several (why not!) & they were all very yummy. Okay place, but not worth the big price & lack of flavor.

Relatively simple food all well prepare. All entrees under 475 calories. Nice ecclectic wine list.

They make you wait even though tables are empty. We arrived at 7 with no prior reservation, they told us it would be 15-25 minutes. After we waited about 10 minutes, my wife checked open table and it showed openings at the current time, so we made one. When we were seated a few minutes later, there were plenty of empty tables remaining. The food was fairly tasteless.

I was nervous that I wouldn't be full upon leaving, but Seasons 52 was just right for lunch. For starters, we ordered the flatbread (chicken pesto and plum tomato). For my entree, I ordered the Buffalo burger and a side of potato wedges. Everything was great. It filled me up without making me sleepy. Perfect.

Our experience was mixed. It may have been that it was a Sunday evening.

First of all, it is a beautiful place. The ambience was just right.

My seared tuna salad was just okay... the tuna wasn't as fresh as it could have been. My husband ordered Corn and Crab Chowder, and the waitress brought him Lobster Bisque. She knew it was the wrong order, but basically said that's all they had!

Our friend ordered a glass of Petit Syrah wine, not a very exotic variety. After a wait of some time, the waitress came back and said they didn't have any. And this from a restaurant that seems to be a wine specialty place.

I will wait for a while before I return there.

My husband and I eat out frequently, and I can honestly say that, Maria, our server at Seasons 52, was the best server we have had in about as long as we can remember. She was prompt, polite, enthusiastic, helpful, and had a great deal of knowledge of the food and wine on offer. Her service helped make it a wonderful dining experience.

The good was wonderful. The service was outstanding. And the live entertainment (the female singer) was absolutely great. It was a very nice experience. We will definitely return.

Most people probably know that Seasons 52 specializes in limited calorie dishes with fresh ingredients that change with the seasons. What was surprising to me was how tasty the dishes were. I didn't feel like I gave something up to get the low calorie benefit at all, and I left the restaurant feeling like I had eaten a very good meal, but not feeling overstuffed. I highly recommend it.

Vegetables were cold and had to be returned. Returned vegetables had to be eaten after other foods in meal were completed. Waiter not as attentive as needed to be. Table was next to the kitchen pick up and others servers would position themselves talking loudly, laughing and seemed clueless that people were eating on the other side of the glass. Asked to be seated by the windows, but only availability were seating for four, but did not observe someone being seated there before our party of two left. Superficially friendly, but not completely attentive for this level of dining. Highlight was a chef visited the table, but never saw again even though vegetables arrived cold. No accommodation in the bill for cold food and delay in hot arrival.

Pleasant ambiance and a very savory experience. Definitely deserves a return.
This was our second time at Seasons 52, and was able to sit near the Bar this time, where the musician had been playing, which added to a most lovely experience.

My friend and I thought that the crab salad was ordinary. The menu describes the salad as lump crab meat in the salad. The crab meat that we were served was not lump meat crab at all!

I took my sister to Seasons 52 (in Bethesda) for her birthday. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. It began with the free valet service. The decor is warm and welcoming. We had a booth in the bar area so were able to listen to the music, a young woman with a beautiful voice, not loud and overwhelming, just a nice enhancement to the ambience. Our waitress, Allison, was knowledgeable and attentive. We enjoyed a marvelous meal. Our dishes were prepared to perfection, and beautifully presented. The amazing thing is how they prepare such gourmet dinners and keep the calories under 500 per entree. We will frequent this gem often.

Awful experience with little management attempt to fix problems. Arrived at 7:30pm on Friday for 7:30 reservation. Was told they were a little behind seating people with reservations; expect a 10-15 min wait. Inquired at 8:00 when we would be seated; told we were no.3 in line, 10-15 min wait. Told same thing at 8:15. Finally seated at 8:30 after demanding to see manager. Waiter did not come to table for 15 min; took drinks order. 15 min later brought the wrong wine, which I identified when I tasted it. He said it was close to what we had ordered. When told to go back he brought the correct wine. Appetizers finally arrived at 9:15, 45 min after we sat down and almost two hours after reservation. Piano bar incredibly noisy.

Although I've been to Seasons 52 previously, one member of our party had not. This time, our service failed to meet expectations. When the entrees we had ordered were being served, the server completely missed placing the plate on the table -- it literally dumped over and ended up on the customer, chair, and floor. So while the plate had to be re cooked, etc. the other members of our party waited; although we began eating at one point, the situation was awkward leaving us feeling a bit discourteous. After we ordered mini-desserts we were told to "compensate" for the situation earlier, that a dessert would not be charged! (One dessert!) Needless to say, we all considered that inadequate, cheap--restaurant could have done much better!

We went for lunch on a Friday and, unfortunately, they must have been having an off day. The flat bread we ordered was first overcooked and had burnt areas. This was re-fired and the next one was undercooked. My wife had ordered the vegetarian entree and the 'smoked' tofu had no flavor. The rest of the dish was good, though. My tuna burger was undercooked some, but didn't feel like sending it back since the service was already so slow. If this had been our first time there we probably would not be going back. The other times were quite good experiences.

I HAVE BEEN TO THIS LOCATION 6X IN THE PAST AND USE IT AS A PLACE TO HONOR MY STAFF FOR SPEC. EVENTS. THIS LAST VISIT WAS A BIZ MTG AND I ASKED FOR TABLE AWAY FROM PIANO BAR..BUT IT WAS STILL VERY, VERY LOUD AT 6PM FOR OUR DINNER MTG. I WISH IT WASN'T SO NOISY..BECAUSE I LOVE THE FOOD AND THE STAFF AND THE THEME OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT CONCEPT. I HAD A HARD TIME HEARING THE CONVERSATION...THERE WERE JUST TWO OF US AND HE HAD A GOOD RICH BOOMING VOICE...BUT COMPETING WITH THE BAR/PIANO AND GENERALLY LOUD SETTING...MADE IT HARD. I WON'T BOOK ANOTHER BIZ MTG DINNER THERE. HE LOVED THE FOOD AND HAD TWO DESSERTS!

This nicely appointed dining room was warm and inviting. Pleasant and accommodating staff made us feel welcomed. Food was very good with excellent presentation. LOved the menu and the process by which they change it from season to season and specials weekly. Since it was our first visit there we had no idea what to expect but it was a moot point. Seasons 52 does everything right. Did not have a chance to experience the bar, but it was large and looked very friendly with several bartenders taking care of those seated there. A very pleasant experience. Will certainly be returning in the very near future with friends.

Our party of four dined at Seasons 52 prior to taking a concert at the Strathmore. Service was excellent... Food was great. We ordered off of the left side of menu which included serving sizes of less than 450 calories each. Two drinks and dinner for four came to $110.00 (less gratuity). Seasons 52 stands for serving the best available food found in 'season' for each 'fifty-two' weeks of the year. I highly recommend!!!
