Seasons 52 - Naples Ratings and Reviews
I have dined at Naples Seasons 52 about 10 Times and always had a wonderful experience. However, my most recent visit caused a severe case of “stomach” problems the next morning. I am Gluten-Free and not by choice. The waitress assured me with the chef’s ok, that my meal was gluten -Free. It apparently was not, and caused me an unhappy few hours the next day.
Since Season’s 52 opened here in Naples, it had been a consistently good choice...I have never had a bad meal or experience here— and I come often! The service is friendly and efficient and the food is delicious! We have many excellent choices of places to dine here in Naples, FL...but I keep coming back to Season’s 52!
My husband and I both ordered from the current 3-course harvest dinner promotion offered at Seasons 52. The food was very good and the value even better. The only thing that could have been better was the noise level. We sat near 2 or 3 tables with large groups of 6-8 people. We had a nice comfortable booth, but had to talk really loud to be heard over the dining room chatter. The other thing that was a little annoying was we had a reservation for 6:15 and had to wait approximately 15 minutes for a table. I realize that we are getting into the season in Naples, and things are going to get busier. Seasons 52 tends to take more reservations than it can handle and waiting is necessary even when you make a reservation. Overall, still one of my go to restaurants in Naples.
Love the seasonal menu. The butternut soup was delicious and a nice item for fall. Everyone in our party enjoyed their selections. The filet was very tender and flavorful. We sat in the back area of the restaurant which was more quiet and made it easier to converse. Great food and great service.
We were celebrating the birthday of an 84 year old who spent her actual birthday in a Hurricane shelter. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. Our waiter, Mario, was the best!!! Food was wonderful, as always. Thank you for making it a perfect evening and celebration for us. The special touches meant so much to the birthday gal. We will all be back. Can’t wait! You’re the BEST 👍👍
Meals and prices always good at Season's 52. Made the mistake of accepting a booth immediately behind the hostess station when we were seated before restaurant even half full. Once it got later and people were waiting, the noise and talking from them was very distracting. Although our waitress was good she was a little short with one of our diners when it become clear she was only having one happy hour appetizer and a drink. Also seemed to disappear for a spell after she promptly served our drinks. I still gave a good tip and would not be upset if I had the same server again. Their small desserts with $5 or $6 price also good. One can indulge a little without feeling the need to eat a Gia t dessert that costs significantly more.
Appalling experience .We had booked our table for 7-30 and arrived in good time. It will be a 5 to 10 minute wait we were advised as we are waiting for tables to leave. I reminded them that we had requested a table rather than a booth as my husband finds sitting at a booth difficult and that we also had asked to be in one of the three side rooms as they are quieter. After 15 minutes I asked where we were and was told there were 4 parties in front of us but that it would be very soon. Another 10 minutes or so went past and they came to take us to a booth! For some reason they were surprised when I said no thanks we asked for a table in a quit room. Off they went to check and then came back to say that a table was about to pay so it should be available very soon. 55 minutes after our booked time they showed us to a table in the noisiest part of the room opposite entry ways and service areas!!! I was horrified. They had seriously overbooked the restaurant anyway as many people were waiting nearly 30 minutes to be seated. I cannot believe that in the hour we were there a table in one of the quiet rooms had not become available. We walked out and went to Bravo Cuccina instead where we were seated outside promptly and had a lovely meal and efficient friendly service. We have been may times to Seasons 52 and enjoy the food but have to say we have always had to wait 10 minutes minimum to be seated. It will be a long time before we go back again.
Don't go between the hours of 6 -8 unless you like being threatened with towing by the valet and waiting 15-30 minutes after your reservation time. Once you figure out what to do with your car and endure the officious check in lady and the wait, the food is not bad although it use to be better.
After a rather long wait for seating ( 25 minutes with a 7pm reservation ) we were seated and then taken care of quickly by a very good waiter. The waiter got us going immediatley with drinks and an appetizer and checked back a couple of times for our main order. No feeling of being rushed. Main meals were delicious and well thought out. I particularly enjoyed the quails ( de-boned, stuffed with a fabulous wild mushroom risotto and served on a bed of wilted spinach. We also had a glass of wine each from a good selection.
You can never go wrong at Seasons 52!!! There's always something worthy to eat. Whatever you decide - in the end it'll be a healthier version of what you thought you wanted and you'll be glad that you ordered it! I always suggest Seasons 52 to my family and friends.
(They have the best trout in town)
Other than Open Table recording my 6PM reservation confirmation for 5:30 with Seasons 52 (my email confirmation had my correct time for 6 people at 6PM), Seasons 52 not finding the reservation, and Open Table sending a "no show" email to me the following day.......My friends and I were seated quickly as I had the confirmation on my iPhone and we had a nice dinner with good service.
This occasion was our first time dining here and it was very good, really nice ambiance, great service. One complaint though is that the salad with salmon didn’t list cilantro in the ingredients, and it was loaded with it. Being one of those people who hates that taste,I was only able to eat a small part of it.
