Everyone was nice, I was there from out of town with my 4 year old son. We were seated in the bar at a large booth. Well the bar wasn't my first choice - but he did love the piano and singing (+), the waitress gave me a kids menu and I ordered a cup of chicken soup for him from the kids menu and one for me from the regular menu with some flatbread. When they came out they were identical and both had parsley on the top (Most kids don't like green food) so I had to remove as much as I could get off. Very nice restaurant - loved the water and fire in the front, just would be nice not to be in the bar....people give little people (and their parents) strange, annoying looks...

What happened to busing personnel. Awful burden on waiter, also not enough battenders made getting a second drink an ordeal. Not fault of waiter, who I recognized as a former bus boy, he did a good job for a novice.

10 am Sunday for a quiet late birthday brunch. Delicious roasted mushroom flatbread, studded with sweet onion, scallion offered to us as first time customers. Enjoyed the subtle flavors of roasted spaghetti squash accompanying my vegetable frittata whose texture married nicely with melted cheese. My companion was not able to finish his portion of hearty shakshuka. Our server was deft, attentive, and personable.

We dined during happy hour which means we got a flatbread and 2 glasses of wine for $15! I had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly (medium-rare) and my fiance had the shrimp and grits which he said was outstanding. We each had one of their trademark mini desserts (mine was Belgian chocolate, his was carrot cake). Everything was outstanding and our waiter, Siegfried, was polite, professional, and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Great restaurant! Food was awesome! Our server was on top of it all! The only critique I have is that is was a bit loud within the restaurant. Honestly everything else was a home run! Fantastic spot!

It seems that they were having an ‘off night’. We arrived for our reservation but had to wait 25min for a table. We were seated upstairs where the ambience wasn’t as good. Our waitress was courteous but cold and not really friendly. We actually had to send one of the meals and a side dish back to the kitchen as the food wasn’t great - and it was the same meal we ordered last time we were there. We never send dishes back but the Brussels sprouts were dried out like they sat under a warming light for too long and the short ribs were sitting in liquid puddle. We got new dishes and they were ok... but it wasn’t great. I’m not sure I would come back.

It was a busy Thursday night, but it didn't impact food quality or service. Wonderful experience! Great entertainment too!
