Seasons 52 - Kansas City Ratings and Reviews
I've always loves Seasons 52 and our experience during restaurant week was no different. We had a reservation and we're seated promptly. Out waitress was very nice and accommodating. I wasn't expecting much with the craziness of this particular week but the food was above and beyond, possibly the best I've had. The options were versatile and very good and the entrees were full portions. My salmon was wonderful as always and my friend mentioned his steak was better than Stock Hill and other known steak houses in the area. Wonderful experience!
We visited this restaurant during Restaurant Week. We had been talking about coming and RW was a good reason. We were seated promptly at the time of our appointment. The area where we sat had some nicely designed partitions that made every few tables seem like their own little section but without also making the room feel small. It helped to keep down the noise, though most of the tables were filled. My wife ... who normally does not eat seafood dishes tried the salmon and loved it. I had the filet mignon and it was fantastic ... really tender and cooked exactly as I requested. We will be back to try more of the items from their menu.
Seasons 52 was very thoughtful and had a red rose and birthday card at the table for my mother upon arrival. Very nice touch! The waiter was fantastic and gave my mom excellent service. I was very impressed with our visit today. They never let me down! Each occasion is always memorable.
Decided to dine here during Restaurant week. My husband and I were seated immediately upon arrival-- we did make reservations. Our waitress, Simone, was kind and did a decent job. However, she kept moving her hair around with her hands to get it out of her way-- sorta bothered me with serving food. I think putting her hair up would not distract her as much.
Had to ask for straws for our drinks. Our pesto chicken flatbread was good, but she brought the salads out right after receiving that. Spacing these out some would have been nice. Had to ask for more information about the meals vs being told about the specials and what they come with. We did enjoy our meals-- filet mignon and scallops.
Then it was dessert time. Our waitress ended up getting more tables and customers and it seemed to overwhelm her. So it took her a while to get us dessert, and then our bill. Overall, it was a great atmosphere with good food-- we will be back! I only stated those downfalls to learn from, not to be negative....
There were six in our party for lunch and it took over one hour and a half to complete our meal. Our server, Andrew P, was not attentive and we had to ask for everything. One person refused to return her burger, which was undercooked, because she feared it would take too long to get another burger. Our server didn't return to ask if everything was cooked okay or we needed anything else. We also had to ask for the Dessert and our bill. We were seated next to the kitchen behind a curtain. There was a draft, so it was cold and servers kept coming through the curtain from the kitchen and next to our table with food for other tables. I have been there many times and have always had exceptional service. Maybe Andrew was having an off day or maybe he had too many tables to wait on, which is what seemed to happen because he was waiting on the bar area as well. Thank you.
Seasons 52 is our Restaurant Week staple. We enjoy their seasonal menu with their fresh ingredients. Their flatbread options are amazing and their desserts hit the sweet spot every time. I have also done Happy Hour at Seasons and it was very reasonably priced as well.
Food was pretty good. Service was so terrible it was actually funny. It was glaringly obvious that we, and restaurant week patrons in general, were an annoyance to our waiter James.
Please accept our most sincere apologies for being paying customers in your establishment James. It definitely won't happen again.
We went here for restaurant week. We were also celebrating our anniversary. We were put by the bar which was a tad busy .... just a lot of activity , where we might have preferred a more solitary booth . The waiter was great, food was good. (Salad was plentiful but dressing was scarce ) dessert was just the right amount , but I miss the butterscotch flavor I have enjoyed there before.
We went for restaurant week. They brought us the wrong flatbread twice. The food was pretty mediocre. And they tried to overcharge me. I got my check, it was $103. I gave them my credit card, he came back with it for me to sign and it said $136. Somehow, another tables’ meal “accidentally” got put on my check. I will not go back.
We loved the ambiance of Seasons 52. We didn't care for the Spinach salads - we had "food envy" when we saw the lovely Caesar salads!!! :) Broccolini was so tough, most was left on the plate. Mixed vegetables with the salmon got a poor rating. Salmon was good and filet was great!! All of our desserts were savored and enjoyed!! We were in the room next to Brush Creek, so the windows, as lovely as they were, made the room quite chilly - many people in the room ended up putting on their coats or using them on their laps while eating.
Went for restaurant week, wasn’t impressed with the food. The drink prices were very reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised by the mini dessert but I thought it was overpriced for the quality of food even for RR. I had the filet. If you want a good steak meal for 30 bucks go to Rye for steak night instead!
My husband is a foodie and excellent cook (better than most restaurants), so I'm always nervous when we eat out. We picked this place because someone gave us a gift card for Christmas and it happened to be Restaurant Week. We were VERY surprised at how much we loved the food (really loved it), the portions were double what they should have been for each course, and the service was wonderful. My husband was satisfied (ate everything) and I had enough left over to take home for another meal the next day. (I don't normally take left overs home, but these were worth it!) I only heard praise about the food from my husband, which never happens. Nearly every time we go out to eat, we wished we would have just stayed home, but this was one time we were extremely happy we were eating out.
Our group meets each month for lunch. This was the 2nd time we've had lunch at Seasons. Both times were perfect. Great food, great service, great wine. This time we were seated at a booth in the bar area. We were definitely able to hear ourselves and enjoy the time together. We'll be coming back.
