Seasons 52 - Indianapolis Ratings and Reviews
After a bad experience a couple of weeks ago with a long wait despite advance reservations, we thought we would try again. This time they exceeded our expectations - sat us before our reservation and the wine, flatbread, meals and service were all excellent.
1) Veggitarian menu hasn't changed much, if at all, over the past few years.
2) I had the scallops, very tasty, but even with an appetizer, a cup of soup and desert, I left hungry and made a sandwich when I got home
3) Still one of our favorite places, we will definitely go back, but I need to better understand the quantity of food the next time.
This was our first time at Season 52. We went during lunch. The food was amazing. We ordered the ahi tuna stack as a starter and the filet mignon as the main. Our server Nolan was very attentive without being too clingy. The only complaint I had was when we first arrived and were seated the noise level was extremely high. We assumed it was from the business lunches that were occurring around us. Once they left the noise level was almost nonexistent which was much more preferable. The lunch was pricey but the preparation, presentation and taste made up for it.
I took my good friend to Seasons 52. She had never been due to her financial budget. Chris was our server and he was excellent! He made her evening the best. He broke everything down for her and recommended some great items, even items; I’ve never tasted as many times as I’ve been there before. He made our entire evening perfect! Thank you!!
Overall our dining experience was good. However, parking was a pain. Several popular restaurants and the mall all share very limited open parking near the restaurant - so parking yourself is nearly impossible on the weekend. I drove around for 10 minutes before finally giving in and using their valet. We were seated in the bar area which I think more intimate and the best option for 2 - 4 people. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the service was good. Wine was standardly overpriced but they did offer a nice selection of wines by the glass. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was excellent. My wife's strip steak was just OK. The portions were good and the mini desserts were perfect sized. Overall, the cost for 2 with a $75 bottle of wine was $210 (I tip 20% on food and 10% on alcohol if it's more than just a glass/person).
Seasons 52 is my go-to for business dinners, and special occasions. And is good for a casual lunch or dinner, too. The wine selection is extensive, the bar is stocked with everything, and the food is always on point. It's a seasonal menu, too, so the options are fresh. The large variety of mini desserts makes my day every time I visit!
We were celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Seasons 52. We both enjoyed the Harvest Dinner which was three courses for $29. Our server Jamie W. was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We received a complimentary Celebration Mini Dessert. We definitely will return to Seasons 52! 🍁🍽🍷🍺🍂
