Seasons 52 - Indianapolis Ratings and Reviews
We were celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Seasons 52. We both enjoyed the Harvest Dinner which was three courses for $29. Our server Jamie W. was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We received a complimentary Celebration Mini Dessert. We definitely will return to Seasons 52! 🍁🍽🍷🍺🍂
Top notch restaurant from the warmth of the fireplace coming in to the indulgences at the end. The only mixup was being charged wrong for a bottle of wine, and a birthday card said Happy Anniversary. Jen was a terrific server and the seasonal harvest menu is the best
We've had many good dining experiences at Seasons 52 and even used their back room for a rehearsal dinner a few years ago, but unfortunately last Saturday night can't be included in our list of good experiences. Having a three day advance reservation was just a "hunting license" because 30 - 40 minutes after the reservation time had come and gone they still couldn't tell us when we would be seated and the lobby was crowded with many other hungry would be diners. They did bring around free flat bread appetizers, but due to the need to manage blood sugar levels my wife and I finally had to concede that it just wasn't their night or ours. We speculated that we were eating the sandwiches we picked up at a place up the street at about the time we would have been seated at Seasons 52. Question now is how long to wait before we give Seasons 52 another try? Their explanation was that parties were staying over at the tables longer than usual after the meal was finished, but it seemed to us that it was more likely they were just badly overbooked.
We were surprised to be told that all sparkling wine by the glass was sold out - prosecco, cava and champagne. No explanations, no alternatives and then it took quite some time to get a glass of something else. Entrees also stacked on the table while starters were still being eaten. Overall, just not high quality service.
Our "reservation" was 25 minutes late, our server forgot to put our food order in so our food took forever to arrive, and we waited even more to pay our bill. From start to finish we were there for over two hours for just four people. No appeizers, drinks, or desserts. We took out of town guests and were embarrassed at how terrible the service was. We won't be going back.
Our server was exceptionally attentive, and the Harvest Menu is an excellent deal! We had requested seating in the bar, but apparently they did not get that message and tried to seat us in the restaurant. We said we would wait for the next booth in the bar. Once we got seated there, the rest of the evening was perfect. Great food, great wine, great atmosphere.
Outstanding! Everything was wonderful.
On time reservation. Superb service by Chris.
He took the time to understand our celebration and made our dinner experience meaningful. Chris answered our questions about the menu and gave us details on many items. The food was the perfect temperature. Overall a great evening at Season 52.
Very nice in every respect. We had a lovely anniversary meal at a very reasonable price. But . . . it was really very noisy and though there was some ‘white noise’ on the sound system it was insufficient. Some direction from a sound technician would provide an easy fix.
We had a very good experience at Seasons 52. Friday evening it was very busy highly suggest reservations . We were fortunate to sit at the bar prior to our reservation.
Service was excellent food was delicious. We had the lamb shank and grilled scallops both were excellent. Overall very good value for the high quality of food and service.
Food was good. Dessert was subpar. I had chocolate cake that was dry. Waitress seemed overwhelmed. She forgot what she had done and answered questions in hurried uncaring manner
We were celebrating my husband’s 70th Birthday and a card with birthday wishes was placed at his seat as we sat down. Nothing else was said or done. We were disappointed.
Have always had great experience here. Food is well prepared and in general staff is great. Waiter this time was too busy appeared that they might have been understaffed for a Saturday night this was a first time for my friends and they were pleased and will be back.
The season special is a good deal! I had soup, salmon (excellently prepared) with root vegetables and their small cup dessert for $29. Wine is only $6 per glass with this dinner selection. My friend had the spinach salad, lamb and dessert. Always a enjoy the ambiance, food and service here!
