Seasons 52 - Ft. Lauderdale Ratings and Reviews
Had a reservation for 9 pm, it took them about 10 minutes to have our table. Our friends arrived early ordered a drink but took a lo g tome to be delivered, as the bar maybe was understaff for the volume at that time
Appetizers were ordered ( flat bread mushroom and flat bread short ribs both very good) then we ordered a few salads, beats salad good, adequate size and Cesar, small and not existing
Entrees were trout, Tuna, Short Ribs and Scallops, all pretty good, everybody satisfied
Service was courteous and fairly smooth
Dessert were small desserts for $3 each, small but enough to change flavors and good
Will be back!
Waited well over 30 minutes to be seated even after a reservation that was booked 2 weeks ago. This ruined my birthday dinner. As a restaurant, you are SUPPOSE to accommodate reserved guests when situations like this arise, knowing that might occur. Once we was seated, the kitchen was closing shortly so we had to hurry. Service was slow, nobody helped sing happy birthday, nobody catered to us. It feels like we were being treated like this because the color of our skin, I say this because another group was seated before us after arriving later than us. What a bad experience with seasons 52...there was no manager to make sure we were ok or to apologize about the lack of accommodations. We were stuck talking to the Sous chef manager who was clueless and nervous. How unfair to him. I would never recommend Seasons 52!
I usually go to the seasons 52 in Boca .... it happens to be AMAZING! However, the one in Fort Lauderdale was not even close! I
A completely different experience. The food was ok but the service was awful.... we practically had to beg our waitress to come to the table!!! Very dingy and depressing! If you want that type of food... it’s worth driving to Boca!
I don't think I've ever had a better meal at Seasons 52. I've eaten there a number of times, but this was excellent. The rainbow trout was out of this world. And I've never had better service. Ken was our waiter and he was outstanding! Thank you Seasons 52.
Racheal Was phenomenal. I had a party of 14 and she handled everything with wonderful customer service it was my husband’s surprise b-day party. She was extremely generous very nice and had all her drinks and order is correct and everything without in a wonderful time we manner. We thank the staff at seasons 52 and Rachel for making this a great night for my husband
The food was fine but the service was terrible. The hostess started to seat us and then got busy with something else. We waited quite a while even though the table was ready. When seated the server was slow and non responsive. We were given an outdated cocktail menu and then were told the drink we had ordered was no longer available. No apologies given for leaving the wrong menu. Ordered an app and entrees, food came fairly quickly and was as expected. However the server never came back to check on the food or see about additional drink orders. Finished dinner and again waited a long time. By the time the server finally reappeared we just wanted the check. Unfortunate because we would definitely have had another drink and dessert. Will not be back for a long time.
We have been going there for years and always a pleasant experience.. We had several service issues , however the manager was very concerned and fair by comping part of our tab. We will continue to dine there as it was only one bad experience over many years of dining at one our favorite places.
I've been to this restaurant in other cities but the one in Ft. Lauderdale is nicer than some of the others. The service is very good and the food as well. My friend and I had the scallops which were done perfectly. Her husband had the sea bass, also done perfectly. My husband had the steak and noodle salad--one of his favorites--but the steak was not done very nicely. However, he enjoyed the rest of the salad. All in all, I would recommend it for a casual dining experience.
