Seasons 52 - Ft. Lauderdale Ratings and Reviews
We were hopelessly late due to the boat parade that kept the bridges closed. After calling the restaurant and advising the hostess of our predicament we were warmly welcomed and promptly shown to our table. The food good as always as it was the service. I made a special request that was graciously granted. My out of town company was pleasantly impressed.
Came to Ft. Lauderdale for a pre cruise stay. Picked this place instead of Capital Grille as a change of pace. Dinner was ok. I had a beet salad and a chicken flat bread. My wife had salmon over salad. I would not say food was fabulous. Food was ok. Price was $70 with one drink and tax and tip. Not impressed by the food or the service. The restaurant looks great. Noise level is loud. Would think twice before coming back to another Seasons 52. I don't think it is worth the price. Best part of the meal was the $2.90 I paid for the bread.
My husband found a piece of glass in his mouth after eating the truffle Mac n cheese. Thank god he bit down on it and didn't swallow it. Manager was nice but only took off the Mac n cheese & gave us a $25 gift card.
I mean seriously glass in food could be a gigantic lawsuits, the least u could do is comp the meal.
He's scallops we're the tiny little things you've ever seen too! Overall not good!
The food was very good , as usual. Only the filet mignon was a a bit over cooked.
The service was very slow. It took thirty minutes to place our dinner order and over all about 2.5 hours for dinner. And we did not draw out the process.
For those who have not been to a Seasons 52, the food is well prepared, portioned well and not too expensive. The ambiance is terrific and servers are well-trained.
We go here all the time. Our service unfortunately was pretty poor tonight with George. It is starting of high season here but no excuse for certain small things like clearing plates and bringing any water. The best service came from his follow through staff. Tonight was a poor experience for us.
Wow walked in was greeted immediately . Had a great waiter Gary spot on . Helpful with our choic s. We went with the new Harvest menu limited but it had a Lamb Shank O my scrumptious fall off the bone . First we started with the spinach pear salad but ask for no pears instead granola which came from another salad they had on this menu Gary says no problem plus I didn't like the veggies it came with he offered me a bunch I said I like both of them The asparagus and the broccoli I ( Italian broccoli ) he gave me both of them cooked perfectly , Hubby had the sirloin . Also soup all for $27.00. Plus with this menu they had wines @ $6.00.
The manager was walking around and checking on his guest , he stopped by our table too, very nice touch. Old school
