As always. A great experience, tasty fresh food prepared artfully, and wonderful attentive service to boot (despite the holiday crowd). I even left my CC, but they called me right away using my open table reservation profile.

The food was great as usual. My wife's sea bass was perfect. I enjoyed the meatloaf. Our friends enjoyed their meals. Mercedes is a very good waitress. She took care of us.

We had theater tickets and told our waiter in advance what time we needed to be out and he failed to bring the check and disappeared for 20 minutes.

Seasons 52 has a reputation for quality, season, menu items and Fantastic service. Our visit was excellent. Our server, Brandon, was friendly and able to take care of all of our desires. We have been to Season 52 several times and never been disappointed with their creative and delicious items. You'll have a hard time deciding between some wonderful entrees or appetizers or salads. And you can't find a better offering of just-the-right dessert.

Fantastic Seasons 52 Location at South Coast Plaza. Try anything on the Happy Hour Menu! You will not be disappointed and will be pleasantly surprised by the prices. Also really great music to help you relax and unwind after a busy day!

This has been a favorite for many years but I don’t know if there has been a change in management or what but the service and menu was very disappointing. I used to rave about the wait staff and the choice of unique and healthy options they offered but it just didn’t measure up to my past experiences there. I won’t be going back.

Very disappointed with our experience this evening. First, the request I made for a special table was overlooked. Secondly, the advertised scallops special that we came for was unavailable even though I received two emails that it was available. Thirdly, the server had one of the meals wrong and initially did not take our issues seriously. When I asked to speak with the manager, Josh, did assist us by listening to our concerns and trying to rectify the series of mishaps that took place that evening. We have dined at this location regularly but felt we were treated very poorly prior to the manager’s intervention this evening. Will think twice about returning to this location.

Food was terrific as usual, but noise level is making a dining experience very difficult. You can't really have a conversation because you have to scream over the very very loud music. Plus you can hardly hear what your waiter is saying 😚

Service was Non existing. After 1hour we received our drinks. Took another 30 minutes for our bread basket to arrive.
There was no attention paid to our table. After 2.5 hours later our $135.00 check arrived.

Only drawback is we were sitting at the table where there is a door going to the patio. Every time people open that door is windy and cold. You have a hard working manager.

Over the many times we've been to Seasons 52, we have had a variety of experiences. This year both food and service have improved to the level that we look forward to our next visit as we are leaving the current one. The seasonal selections are familiar but prepared somehow to be very special. Happy Hour offerings have become small bites of wonderful things from the dinner menu. It's now a value proposition as well as a quality one.

Seasons 52 always does a great job with large groups and having the meal served efficiently and with minimal interruption to the conversation. The food is excellent and can serve a wide range of pallets and a wide range of dietary restrictions.

• the service was on point
• the food was served at a reasonable time
• the food could be less oily/buttery
• the desert (raspberry cream) can be less decadent

We dine here a ton and it is always fantastic. Many offerings seasonally and great calorie conscious offerings too. Mini indulgences are the best little desserts.

Season’ s 52 offers contemporary cuisine in a casual setting. The dishes vary per season, which is very appreciated. The food is really very good and I also love the “ mini deserts” , which are just the right size. The service is very attentive and friendly.
It can get busy but the restaurant seats the guests appropriately.

Enjoyed the flat breads - especially the thin cracker crust
It was a little too noisy for our party of six, as we couldn't always hear each other !!

Our meal was excellent - we had a booth, so it was a bit quieter than the rest of the restaurant, so we were able to visit without yelling.

The only problem was that we ordered coffee and hot tea at the end of our meal. We had informed our waiter that we had to leave at 7:00 to get to the theater, but it took 10 minutes to get our coffee and tea so we had to send it back. Had been hoping for a cup of coffee/tea and dessert, but unfortunately ran out of time. Unfortunate it took so long to get a cup of coffee.

A restaurant of this caliber should have trained, knowledgeable staff. The host seemed dazed and asleep and barely spoke to us when he seated us in the mostly empty restaurant. Our waitress didn't know the wine list and, more distressing, when asked how the lamb - described on the menu as "Mediterranean" - was prepared, replied, "I don't really know," and then just looked at me. When I asked if she would go ask the kitchen, she came back with a description that conveyed she knew nothing about food. She described the preparation of lamb as "braised and gamey," which is of course not a preparation style. I would not expect restaurant lamb to be gamey, and it wasn't. This is a lovely restaurant and I have had several excellent meals here, but this was not their best foot forward.

Great food - pleasant waitress - first round of drinks were terrible - sent them back and replacements were not that better - they must have been having issues at the bar bc we have dined here several times and never had a problem.
