I have eaten at Seasons 52 many times. The food & service are always great! I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s best to make a reservation.
We were all throughly impressed. I was given kudos for picking a great place. It will be my go to place when attending the theatre. All 5 of us were happy.
Met our expectations from prior visits of good, not great, food at a reasonable price in a relaxed atmosphere. However we were distracted by various members of staff repeatedly asking us if our food was “wonderful”. It is a rare occasion when I find that food fills me with wonder. If this pattern of repeatedly asking if our food is wonderful, I will probably stop going to this restaurant. I found it that annoying
Going out to see a play at the Segerstrom Center
It is always a good time when dining at Seasons 52. The food is fresh, the staff pleasant and the timing excellent. A great place to spend time with friends.
Dined spontaneously for our anniversary and had the best time. Food, server and music was fantastic!
Our waitress, Janelle, was exceptional!
I had my usual scallops which were very good as always. My husband had the salmon, also good. Liked the new spring veggies, my asparagus was great. For the first time we ordered a side dish because we love Chinese style green beans. So we ordered the Kung Pao green beans. Not what I had hoped or expected at all. Best not to order green beans in a non Chinese restaurant! We asked to sit in the bar area if possible as we like the small booths and the atmosphere. We enjoy quiet and we always manage to be finished with our meals before the singer and music come on. As always a good experience at Seasons 52!
We enjoy eating here very much, however this time the kitchen was a bit off. Flat bread was burned , and on the entries I had filet my wife had braised ribs they were both very charred on the outside . Not very tasty, it was St. Patrick's day and the restaurant was packed so we didn't want to send them back we just wanted to eat and go.
Birthday person is lactose intolerant and other food issues. We were presented with lactose free menus. Server was able to give details on how dishes are prepared
Great service, food, and drinks. Comfortable seating, great location if you are attending an event at Segerstrom Performing Arts Center. Downside is that it's a little noisy. It's always busy so it's best to make reservations. I really enjoy dining there for both lunch and dinner! I recommend the flatbreads for an appetizer to share. I have tried several different dishes and am always pleased. The desserts are just the right size for me.
We like to try different restaurant every now and then. The restaurant located in South Coast Plaza. We went there on Thursday night and it was pretty pack; however, since we already made reservations prior, we were seated at our table despite we are still waiting for half of our party (that's a PLUS, many restaurants would like for you to wait until your party complete).
Service was good. Food not so much, we were hoping for more flavor. If you go for a drink, this is a good place to go with your friends and colleagues. If you are just looking to dine- I would not recommend coming here for the food. I would recommend the ambiance and drinks.
Seasons 52 never fails to impress. Make a reservation and have special requests? Done. Want a server to your table right after being seated by a host? Done. Want special accommodations on an item on the menu? Done. In a hurry to get to evening entertainment? Done. Not completely satisfied with the preparation of your food? Done. (Although this rarely happens.) Dining with friends and have a special way to divide the check? They have it all covered so you have a very pleasant dining experience.
The food is always excellent, always something new. Wait staff are always friendly & helpful.
Both the food and service were excellent! Love the seasonal menu—everything was at its best!
Very nice comfortable meal. Service was very attentive, multiple requests about our food. Ate outside and during lunch and the heaters were a bit warm - turned down upon our request.
The music from the piano player in the bar was good, but it was a bit noisy from the happy hour crowd. The food was good but not great and the service was marginal. Overall, just average.
Great! I love Seasons 52. Foods delicious, ambience is upscale, & professional service!
We have been several times now to Seasons 52 and this time it was not great, just OK. The service was excellent but the food was not amazing. We had 5 different entrees at our table and only one was worth going back for. I probably won't return for a long time, there are too many really good choices out there.
Good food and great service. We enjoy this restaurant to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and also business lunches.
Their food is so fresh and a good balance of meat and vegetables. Fun to sit in the bar area for live music.
We dine here fairly regularly - always before the theater. This time the food was so excellent that we though maybe they had a new chef. Turns out they got a new grill and although the food is always good, this time was really fantastic!
Right now for the season, they have a crispy prosciutto, asparagus and camembert flatbread that is amazing...can't wait to have it again!!
Seasons 52 is always our choice of where to dine....wish we lived closer!
Almost always gets excellent food and service. Our go to spot before a night of theatre or concert going.
Great deal on the spring menu
$30 for a 3 course dinner
Filet mignon was perfectly prepared
Wonderful food and great ambiance!!
Great service, great food always. The OC Restaurant Week menu include one of our favorites—the trout. Definitely win-win!
It was great
I am NEVER disappointed in the creative menu and the excellent service - always top notch.
Dinner was fabulous as always! The portions are perfect and the flavors were fantastic. I especially enjoy the service. All of the wait staff were exceptional - nice, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. This place will not disappoint!
Front desk/reception/maître D' staff not personable. Wouldn't make eye contact or greet when guests come in. But our server Chris was wonderful.
Great menu, service was awesome. Meal came on time and was delicious!
Very good food! Due to a hearing problem with one in our party, we had requested a booth in advance. However, up our arrival, we were told none were available. And yet, we observed a booth that sat empty the entire time we were having dinner!
I loved the food, great place to go and have a chat with friends if you get there before five, by six it’s a little noisy but still a wonderful atmosphere with delicious food
The food is always excellent....Highly recommend the shrimp and grits...
I haven’t visited the restaurant in about a year. I visited today for lunch and it was just as good as I remember it. I took a friend and she enjoyed her meal. I cannot wait until the next visit.
Went with friends during restaurant week. Our server Jason was excellent. The food selection was impressive and tasted wonderful. Highly recommend.
We were very impressed by the way everyone was able to accommodate the heavy dinner crowd. We were going to the theater so had a time we needed to be out by and it was not a problem. Food was great, service was excellent.
Seasons52 is a great restaurant which is why I chose to have my birthday dinner here. A friend wanted to surprise me so he drove over mid-day to pre-pay for 2 bottles of wine. He wanted it to be his gift. The waiter did bring 2 bottles of wine but never said they were a gift from my friend. There were many of us at the table talking so we didn't pay much attention to where the wine came from. Too bad the waiter did not have the presence of mind to mention the giver of the gift!
Always enjoy eating here. Food and service is always great. Just hate that it's so noisy. Try to get seated as far away from all of it - which is difficult.
Too many restaurants have poor acoustics these days and it makes it a bit less relaxing dining experience.
First time at this restaurant, deciding to try it during OC Restaurant Week. Soups were especially delicious on the OC Restaurant Week spescial menu, especially the potato leek. Nice touch with the lemon chantilly cream on the asparagus soup. Loved the little individual desserts. Plan to go back to try other full menu choices.
