Seasons 52 is one of our main "go-tos" for a business lunch. That being said, sometimes the service can be a tad slow. (However, to be fair, we didn't tell them we were on our lunch hour.) The food is ALWAYS delicious and it is amazing that they can create dishes all under 600 calories. The shot glass desserts are a must-have!

We stop here for lunch on our drive home to San Diego after visiting our son and his family in Westlake Village. I recommend making a reservation since they do get busy. We have a Seasons 52 here in La Jolla, which is wonderful, yet I do love the Costa Mesa location. It's a lovely break on the long drive home. The acoustics are great, we can talk and it never gets too loud. The booths are very comfortable. The food, as always is delicious. I always order a glass of La Crema chardonnay and the Wood-Grilled tenderloin salad. The beef is so tender, and the red pepper is fresh (not jarred). The gorgonzola is mild and not overwhelming like blue cheese can be. The cumin-lime vinaigrette brings everything together deliciously. I wish I could remember the name of our waiter the first time we were there who took the time to describe the vinaigrette, which I didn't think I would like. Sometimes I think I'll order something else (The scallop dish is also fantastic), yet once I'm there.... I only want that salad. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We've never been rushed no matter how busy they are.

Eat at this establishment 10 - 12 times a year and have always been very pleased with the food quality, service and area it is located. This last time it was the usual quality that we have become accustomed to - that is why we return. This past visit we did have quite a delay in our main courses arriving due to what we found out was a back up in the kitchen, this is the only time in recent memory that this has happened to us at Season's 52/Costa Mesa.
