Seasons 52 - Coral Gables Ratings and Reviews
My wife and daughter and I ordered scallops. The risotto with mine was delicious but sparse as opposed to theirs. We are getting a little older (seniors) in other words and were anxious about eating the broccoli because of it's hardness. It was tasty nonetheless but we were afraid of breaking something. The place is delightful and so is the service. We have eaten there perhaps 15 times and will keep on coming.
I was 30 minutes late for my reservation. I was told I would need to wait about 30 minutes but was sat down promptly after about a five minute wait. The ambience was very romantic/relaxing.We were given free appetizers to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Our service was great and never had us waiting. The food was immaculate and very tasty as well. Overall it was a great dinner experience and I highly recommend you give this place a chance.
Our experience was terrible! Let me begin with saying I love this place. However my experience was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant in Friday night. I entered the restaurant at 8:00 and was sent out because the hostess said they were full to capacity for the night. I stepped out and realized they were on open table. I opened my app and quickly booked a reservation for 8:45. I entere again and told the hostess. She was annoyed that I used the app to assure that I was seated this evening. She directed me to the bar to wait, at 8:45 I approached her and said I was ready. She said I had a few people ahead of me. I patiently continued to wait. At 9:15, I asked again and told me that since I went against her statement of “were full
For the evening” and booked through open table outside the restaurant and walked back in with a reservation, that I would have to wait. Needless to say I was bothered by the negligence and refusal to be sat after waiting patiently and properly making a reservation through this app. I hope open table sees that their reservations are not being prioritized. I’ll be back once they start respecting ones proper reservation.
I was disapppointed that we waited for 30 minutes although we had a reservation through OpenTable. The restaurant told us the wait was caused by OpenTable not being aware that they had a party of 60 in the house. I am not sure who that falls on, but it was just bad timing since we were there with athletes who had a curfew.
This is the second time I've been here the last time I was here my sister in law booked a private room for my niece's baptism. Like last time I wasn't disappointed. This time for my mothers birthday I wanted some where nice and quite yet but not over the top. Season 52 checked off all those boxes and again came highly recommended by some of my friends. The service was polite and the food fantastic. I will come back again again.
Met my wife 5 years ago in this restaurant. We've been going back for an anniversary or our meeting every year to celebrate. The waitress brought us complimentary prosecco and presented us with a complementary desert on a plate inscribed in caramel with Happy Anniversary. Made a special occasion more special for us. The flatbreads we tried were exceptional. We had salads, BBQ Chicken, and Seared Tuna, for our entrees. The salads were very good. We'll be back next year!
We dine at the Seasons 52 in the Coral Gables area very often and I've never had a bad meal or bad service. Our server this time around was Edith and she was fabulous, everything was just how we ordered it; we were a party of 6. All of our food came out at the same time and no one had to wait, she was very pleasant and attentive to detail. Food is always on point, this has become one of our families favorite restaurant in the Gables. Keep up the great service and food.
Very disappointed with service and overall experience. 40 minutes after our reservation time we were taken to a dirty table. Hostess did the best to clean it but pieces of food all over the booth that we had to clean to be seated.
Waitress did not provide us water or silverware . In fact we needed to take it from the next table and clean ourselves our table again since one of shakers was broken and leaking.
We asked 3 Times for water....summarizing nothing else’s could be wrong!
The food was good but we decided not come back. I used to love it , I met my fiancée there but other restaurants offer better experience for even less money .....
