Seasons 52 - Coral Gables Ratings and Reviews
We chose the Fall Menu which was fabulous. The soups were wonderful as were the options for the main courses. You cannot find a better value. We were fortunate to have a great server Chris T who was knowledgeable, personable and funny. Great experience all in all.
Came in for dinner on a Saturday evening. Had no issues with the flavor of food. Over all Restaurant was quiet and tranquil. I received my steak and found a long black hair under the stake and in the mashed potatoes. I was not rude about it but let me server know. A manger I presume came to the table and apologized. We reordered the food as we understand things can happen. The manager came back and advised she would take care of the situation. She offered to give us a free glass of wine. But we already had wine. When the bill came there was no adjustment made. I find it odd that for being a constant repeat customer and for this level of restaurant and insinuation of the manager that they would address the situation that nothing’s in reality was done. Me and my significant other had to take turns watching each other eat in order to not eat cold food. So over all I believe there was nothing done to enhance our experience.
This is a very nice restaurant on Miracle Mile. There is a parking garage just across the street, so parking is easy. The food is terrific, with wine list is good and the atmosphere is perfect for 2, 4, or more. My wife and I usually share an appetizer (flat bread), a salad and a main course as well as a cocktail or a glass of wine and never leave hungry. The price is reasonable, too.
I have an allergy to dairy and I let the waiter know about the restriction prior to ordering. Aside from the waiters efforts, everything I had ordered (without dairy) came out with dairy on it. It is stressful for me to eat out because of my dietary restrictions because I run that risk. The waiter did apologize and I felt that in the end he handled it well. However, he could have slowed down and checked on us more often to see that I was not happy with the food. This was my first negative experience at seasons 52, it is in fact my favorite restaurant. I will return, I just wish it was a better experience than it was. We were celebrating our first anniversary and nobody acknowledged that, so I’m not sure why open table asks me to add special notes or to denote that what type of occasion it is.
Absolutely enjoyed every moment of our date night. Service was great, food was delicious, and prices matched the quality. Roger was warm and welcoming and gave us such great suggestions. Chicken pesto flat bread with arugula sooooo goooood & I tried out their Harvest Dinner that is $29 a person & includes app/entree/dessert. I chose the butternut squash, delicious! Filet mignon with mashed potatoes, it was cooked perfectly, nice reddish pink center, the red wine sauce was *kisses fingers* amazing! I tried the harvest wine that they have for $6 a glass but it was a little too sweet for my liking, so Roger recommended Spy Valley, sauvignon blanc, in replace of it & it was exactly what i was looking for. Hubby had the NY strip with mash as well and it was also cooked perfectly (mine was better tho). Again, i’ve been used to more expensive places so i was actually surprised that it wasn’t too crazy for a nice spot on Miracle Mile.... oh and those mini desserts, yum! My fav was the mocha macchiato not too sweet with a hint of coffee flavor. Definitely will be coming back for both happy hour and future date nights!
Season's 52 never disappoints. We were celebrating two birthdays and we were a large party. We were given a private room which was perfect! The food was outstanding. The new old fashioned with Makers Mark is my favorite in town. We could not have asked for better service! We were even served complimentary champagne at the end of our meal.
Always before I've had a special and quiet, intimate experience here - but this past time, even with a reservation made well in advance, we were seated right next to a huge table with a noisy party. It was hard to hear my dining companions, and though my back was to the party it was irritating to me and I could tell our friends (with whom we had a double-date) were distracted and bothered. My advice: check the surroundings before you settle in to a table at this place.
The menu has calorie listed for each dish which helps choosing when you face which you love to choose. Great ambience, like New York bistro, good service usually but not this Thursday. Our order of one bottle of white and another of red came almost when we finished the main dish. Cocktails of three different were all scrumptious.
We regularly visit Seasons 52 in Coral Gables and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent and the food is always perfect. We enjoy the seasonal changes in the menu as well as knowing our favorites remain on the regular menu. The staff and management make us feel welcome and we always enjoy our time here. We have celebrated special occasions here and have always had successful events.
Typically I have had good experiences at this restaurant, but this time it was horrible! I took my family to Seasons to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We commented at the beginning of our meal that the area they seated us in seemed unusually warm. The waiter said he would check with the manager to see what was going on. During our meal I had to get up several times to go to the restroom because it was uncomfortable. I mentioned to the waiter that we needed to see the manager because this was unacceptable; as multiple members of our party were sweating at this point. We finished our meal and still no manager. At this point, I was fed up and asked for the check. It wasn’t until we were about to get up and leave that the manager showed up to our table. The manager did apologize but made 0 concessions for the inconvenience; as someone who has managed multiple operations I would never have let my customers leave without going above and beyond for such an inconvenience. This experience has deeply soured me to this establishment!!
We choose Seasons 52 because of the high ratings on Open Table and we love to go different places for our anniversary dinner.
We were pleasantly surprised at the way our expectations were exceeded. It is a casual to dressy atmosphere.
The high wooden beam ceilings kept the noise level to quiet conversations. We were seated close to the kitchen area which was nice because it had a bit brighter lighting and the flames of the oak wood fire warmed us. The hostess pointed out how nice the kitchen was and that it was the quietest kitchen she had ever encountered in her years of restaurant service. Her enthusiasm made us take note & we were glad we could watch the chefs at work.
Then the server made us feel completely at home even though we had never been there before. He inquired about my special dietary needs & I was able to get any flatbread selection (with wine) in a gluten free alternative. Bliss!
Our dinners were delicious and the little desserts perfect for the little space left.
All in all we had a lovely time, spent far less than anticipated & will certainly return. But we won't wait a year to do it!
