Food was good but not great. This is a good place for lunch or dinner but not a special occasion.
Walked in and was told we had to wait an hour to get a table. Logged in to opentable and got a table in 15 minutes. Service was horrible. No waters. Ordered from the vegan menu and soup came out with cream on top. Could not even send soup back as no one came to table. Missing items all around when entrees were delivered - by someone other than our server for every course. Ordered white wine and Red came out. Husband ordered iced tea and sweet tea delivered with yet again...no one available to correct. At the end of the meal the manager apologized with the excuse “it’s restaurant week.” Perhaps this restaurant isn’t equipped to accommodate restaurant week when conventional customers aren’t adequately served. Our experience was remarkably horrendous.
We enjoyed the new Spring menu on Sunday afternoon. Our server Carlos was very nice and attentive. He was always ready with a drink refill when I needed it. It wasn't very busy since we were there at 1:30.
My husband enjoyed the pesto chicken flatbread, and I loved the Caesar salad which was huge. The filet with mushroom wine sauce was excellent and a generous portion. The 1 mini dessert for each of us was just enough since it was so decadent. We had the pecan pie and brownie smore --- yum!
We will be back.
Fresh and awesome original menu - local ingredients that change with the season - wonderful!
Our server was wonderful she took time to explain dishes! It was very busy so drinks from bar area were a little slow but our server forward us on this when she first introduced herself. Will definitely go back and we were seated on time with what we reserved. We went for resturant week and loved everything. The omibionce was nice for a wonderful night out as a couple. The Raspberry cheesecake desert was the best I want to try the key lime desert next time. Will definitely be back and use open seating again also!
As always, we enjoyed our time at Seasons 52. The menu selection was excellent and of course, the desserts were superb.
This was our first visit.
Seated within five minutes of our reservation.
Server arrived quickly and we ordered VERY good drinks.
Server knew the menus well and easily gave recommendations.
The kitchen was a bit slow, but the salmon and the beef tips were excellent.
The small desserts are a good idea .... just enough to satisfy.
No rush, even on a busy Friday night.
Complimentary valet is a real plus.
Great meal! Tasting menu for $29 was generous in portions and very fresh and flavorful.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the food is amazing. We love that the menu changes regularly to make each time seem like a new experience.
My husband and I always enjoy eating at Seasons 52. The food and service are always very good.
My visit to Seasons 52 was in Chicago for the Restaurant Week feature. That same year my daughter took me there for mother's day. The was fresh free of the "commercial taste" you know mass produced.
Waiter came to get our drinks in a timely manner but it took 2 request to bring a lemon for the water. He never asked half we wanted the Hamburger prepared. We were told they ran out of buns for the hamburger!!!! When the meal was served they “found” 1. We asked for salsa and he never brought it and the burgers were over cooked. If he had returned in a timely manner! I would have sent it back. It was an hour into our meal and we just ate what was served. We were the only table in the bar besides 2people setting at bar to have salads!
As ALWAYS, a Perennial Favorite! New SPRING menu is a NICE change of pace... ASPARAGUS! YES! Enjoyed the $29 3-Course Menu... 2:00 PM so I considered the meal both LUNCH/Dinner!
Wonderful evening....enjoyed Restaurant Week menu!
Excellent stop on way to show at Arnold Center. Noted quiet ambiance compared to
most other area bistros. Wide choice of menu items, including smaller bites and comfort items...I had the meatloaf and my wife a petite filet, both excellent and not too much food. Decent wines and small dessert cups were perfect ending.
This seasons new menu choices were terrific. While we visit here regularly, this seasons changes were notable.
Excellent as always. We enjoy Seasons 52 for lunch as well as dinner. Great place
Our server was a disappointment. She was not cordial when she greeted us, quickly reviewing the specials.
She was visibly annoyed and made a face when we were ordering and one of our party needed assistance with the menu ( elderly and hard of hearing). She then was short with my friend who was helping our elderly friend.
We all ordered coffee and she never came back to ask us if we would like a refill.
Our server only became pleasant when it was time for the check ( and her tip). We all felt she was not skilled enough in customer service to be at Seasons 52.
This is the second time in a row when I felt the service was not to the standard of previous visits.
In the past, enjoyable. On this occasion it was overcrowded, noisy, with slow, erratic service, overcooked, almost inedible food, and overall very disappointing. Would not recommend unless they get their act together.
Excellent food, service, quality and atmosphere. We will definitely go back!
Met a friend for dinner at Seasons 52 and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. I'll be back.
We chose Seasons 52 for our restaurant week because we had never dined there. We were not
disappointed. The food choices for the four course meal were terrific. The shared flat bread appetizer was more than enough for the two of us. Each of our salads were very generous and tasty. Our main courses were a beef filet and pork loin. Both were prepared as chosen and the sides were very nice. The "small" dessert choices were great and I recommend the pecan pie if you love it. Our server was very nice and attentive considering it was busy. We'll keep this one on the short list to try again.
Wonderful food and service!! Great customer service!
2 of the entrees had to be sent back because they were not cooked as ordered. 1 had to be sent back twice. Interrupted the entire dinner!
Always have great food and seasonal foods on the menu. Great wine list and you get a good pour. Lots of team service. One of our favorites.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here on Sunday evening. Our server Jessica was excellent and very attentive. Our party of four tried the short ribs, salmon and filet mignon and everything was delicious. Dessert was nice, too. We were celebrating a birthday and they have special treats for a birthday party so spend your celebration day there. You won't be disappointed.
The food is always delicious and fresh. The service is fantastic. It's a good place to get high quality service/food at a reason price.
We frequent Seasons 52 and this was the first time that the service was not very good. Could not get a refill and the food was not prepared as requested, but it was still good. We will go back but the server definitely needs some more training and to be more personable.
We went to Season 52 for brunch and it was perfectly adequate. The menu is pretty standard, the service is pretty good, it's not a bad option. It also isn't a great one, though. The prices were average for brunching in this area, but the menu is less unique. Definitely has a chain vibe.
Waitress was extremely personable. Laughed at my bad jokes which is very important to me.
Food came out fast and perfect (every time I have been there it’s been perfect). It was so good it took all my strength to eat slowly like a proper human being and not like a starving, rabid dog.
Then the desserts came out. The desserts. Those evil, sweet, delicious diet murdering SOBs. So good.
The worst part was the bill, but I complain about prices McDonalds. Definitely worth the price.
The bartenders were great! The table service was slow and even in a restaurant of this type prebussing was a struggle. They have certainly changed standards over the years.
Took a really long time before a server came to greet us and give us water. The host sat us and told us a certain name of the server that was going to be taken care of us. After a long wait at the table a different server came over and served us. He did a good job. A customer sitting at the table next to us was a little loud and obnoxious however he ended up leaving and the noise level was much better. I know that customer is out of the restaurants control.
Food was good. Server was helpful and accommodating.
Everything was fantastic!
Excellent waiter, wonderful service
Great Meal. Worth the price I thought. Service was very good. Great place for a business meal.
Birthday dinner went well
Our waitress was very good, unobtrusive, and efficient. Service was timely. Attentive in refilling iced tea.
We had to wait 40 min for out reservation and they ended up building a new table for us in the front room. This turned out to be a nice spot as it has a lot of natural light and not as noisy although they should have done that immediately instead of making us wait 40 min. Then they were out of two items that we ordered.
All was excellent. The food, the service and the value. We had the prix fixed menu and it was delicious and quite a bit of food.
Too noisey in the bar. The hostess seated us in the bar during happy hour.
